Pitiful Hydra's Struggle

The Hydra roared and thrashed around violently. It's heads were moving around haphazardly. It was trying to prevent whatever was happening to it. The Hydra wasn't able to physically move its body except for his 'heads'.

Deep inside its body was a pitch black circular 'light'. Slowly,it started to revolve forming a portal. There were faint golden flashes in it.

Sensing this with its mental will the Hydra roared but no matter what he did he just couldn't stop it.

The 'portal' started to speed up slowly. At first you could notice that it was faintly revolving. A few hours later it started to speed up by a bit. Two or three days later you could barely see it as it was revolving at such a high speed.

The Hydra obviously wanted to escape. He tried to move but he couldn't. He tried to use his martial techniques but all of them were negated.

His body's wasn't healing by itself. As soon as he tried to direct his Qi towards the 'circle' it disappeared in thin air.

He had almost completely used his Qi but there was no effect. As soon as it touched the 'circle' it disappeared. The Hydra wrapped its Qi around the 'circle' but the Hydra could sense that it was being rapidly depleted.

Obviously,Qi wasn't the only thing in his arsenal. He accessed his spatial item and pulled out a blue coloured square shaped talisman.

The runes and glyphs on it were faintly moving. If somebody stared at it for some time they would feel as if the entire talisman was alive. It was a spatial talisman.

He wanted to use it to transfer to 'him'. The Hydra was desperate beyond anything. If not he wouldn't even think of meeting that 'bastard'.

The Hydra had obviously acquired the spatial talisman from an ancient abode. As for current day talisman masters they couldn't even think of creating spatial talismans.

The Hydra used all of his Qi even the Qi he had used to wrap around the 'circle' and poured it into the spatial talisman.

Just as the Hydra had almost completely exhausted his Qi the talisman started to faintly glimmer. It floated in mid-air. The runes and glyphs on it flowed out like water and went into the Hydra's skin without any obstruction.

'How amazing…'

The Hydra pondered as he tried to examine the sensation of the runes and glyphs travelling throughout his body.

The runes and glyphs arranged themselves according to a specific formation.

Just as they were about to activate and transport the Hydra a faint flash of golden light passed through the 'circle' and all of the runes and glyphs were suddenly attracted to the 'circle'.

Every single rune and glyph started to flow towards the 'circle'. A blinding ray of blue light erupted from the talismans 'paper'. It was trying to prevent the runes and glyphs from going out of control but alas,it wasn't enough.

The runes and glyphs eventually, flowed into the pitch black 'circle' and disappeared. The blue square shaped talisman lost its lustre and slowly dissipated into thin air.

The Hydra upon seeing this roared:

"NOOOOO!!!"

That was a spatial talisman for heaven's sake. A countless amount of resources were depleted for its upkeep. After all, it couldn't maintain itself.

The Hydra had offended a great deal of experts just to acquire it and now it didn't even work!!!

The Hydra examined the 'circle' with his mental will and realized that it was expanding slowly but surely. The Hydra couldn't help but roar in indignation!

It was a Seven Headed Hydra for the nine heavens sake. Nobody could even touch him in the same realm except for 'him'.

It had survived seven heavenly tribulations each more disastrous than the next but it couldn't get out of this peculiar situation!

A few days later the 'circle' had almost expanded to half the Hydra's size leaving its head. During these few days the Hydra had tried whatever he could. He had used talismans, arrays and sealing formations.

The Hydra had even attacked the 'circle' using his different affinities but no matter what he did it was all consumed by the 'circle'.

The talismans, arrays, formation and even the Qi attacks were consumed by it.

Right now, the Hydra still hadn't given up hope. If he was so weak willed he wouldn't have survived seven tribulations. It was examining the 'circle' with his mental will but he could only examine the area around it.

As soon as he tried to probe more closely his mental will was also 'consumed'.

As it was examining the circle suddenly seven smaller orbs of pitch black light separated from it. They slowly traveled to specific meridians and blood vessels one by one consuming everything in their path.

Each orb of light travelled to a corresponding element. One for lightning, one for darkness, one for water, fire, wind, earth and light.

Seeing this the Hydra's blood boiled.

"You steal my flesh and vital essence and now you even want to steal my affinity crippling my centuries of effort!?"

"NO!NO!NO!"

Saying this the Hydra tried to amass his Qi and energy but it was of no matter.

It was still consumed in the end. The Hydra's seven heads sighed and slumped on the ground on the ground like a beaten dog.

The Almighty Seven Headed Hydra terrorizing even Rank 9 cultivators was helpless like a dog in front of an orb of light!

Slowly the seven mini orbs travelled throughout the Hydra's entire body consuming his elemental Qi leaving nothing behind.

Slowly, the orbs were slowly making their way up to the Hydra's head. If they reached up there they would consume his demonic core leaving him with nothing.

If the Hydra actually survived after that then that would be a heavenly miracle.

Demonic Core's weren't batteries which you could take out anytime you wanted. They were closely interlinked with a beasts flesh, blood,Qi and cultivation base.

Sensing its slowly approaching demise the Hydra roared:

"AS IF I'M GOING TO GO DOWN JUST LIKE THAT!!!"
