46 Checking the affinities!

Xia Shenyi narrowed her eyes as she focused her gaze on Zhao Ying, tilting her head slightly closer to hers. "Hmm.." Deep in thought, she contemplated the situation, her mesmerizing black eyes shining with a subtle glimmer. 

Zhao Tian, ​​who was sitting next to Zhao Ying, asked "So? Can you sense any seal?"

Xia Shenyi spoke not being certain "I am not so sure, I can kinda sense it but can't… someone stronger than me has placed the seal."

Zhao Ying's mind was filled with confusion as she turned to Zhao Tian "Who would place a seal on me and Tian'er…" Xia Shenyi shook her head "I don't know.. for now, let's go outside."

As they walked outside in the grass field, Xia Shenyi suddenly disappeared. Hm? Zhao Tian raised his head and saw Xia Shenyi floating in the air "What are you doing?"

Xia Shenyi shrugged "Trying to break the seal, you back away a little." she spoke as she raised her palm and watched as orange flames began to swirl and gather above it, eventually forming a large sphere. *woosh* The sound of the flames crackling filled the air as the sphere grew in intensity. 

Zhao Ying was startled seeing the swirling flames and looked at Zhao Tian. Zhao Tian gave a reassuring nod and planted a kiss on her cheek "You can cultivate after breaking the seal, Ying'er."

As Zhao Tian distanced himself from Zhao Ying, Xia Shenyi lowered her hand and hurled the large flaming sphere towards Zhao Ying. *woooosssh*

"EH?!!" Zhao Ying heart skipped a beat to see the burning giant fireball rushing towards her. Zhao Tian spoke "Ying'er, don't panic." Hearing his words, Zhao Ying gave a nod and closed her eyes clutching her hand.

Xia Shenyi narrowed her eyes as the destructive fireball inched near Zhao Ying. *flick* But before it could reach her a transparent barrier appeared acting as an impenetrable barrier between Zhao Ying and the incoming fireball. *boooommm* The impact between the two forces resulted in a thunderous explosion that echoed throughout the surroundings.

Zhao Ying stood there unscathed but the place around her was burnt with charred remnants and billowing tendrils of smoke rising from the scorched earth surrounding her. *fwiish*

Xia Shenyi frowned, that's not her powerful attack but still "It seems that I underestimated the strength of the seal that was placed by someone more powerful than me."

Zhao Ying looked around the burnt area and asked "So… what should we do?" Xia Shenyi gave a nod "Wait a little, I will come back."

Zhao Ying glimpsed at Zhao Tian who was walking towards her "Tian'er, you said that this has something to do with our Dad which our Mom never speaks about."

The talk? Zhao Tian narrowed his eyes and spoke in a stern voice "Ying'er, I have told you not to bring that topic again." *gik* His cold tone sent shivers down her spine, causing panic to course through her body. In a desperate attempt to appease him, she quickly hugged him H-He is mad.

"I-I am sorry, Tian'er… it just lingers in my mind so… I am sorry." she apologized softly kissing his lips. Zhao Tian let out a sigh and patted her head "Never ask Mom about that… she would be heartbroken."

"En! I won't... so don't get mad." Zhao Ying spoke in a timid voice. She knows Zhao Tian cares a lot for his mother Zhao Suyin, even more than her and sometimes she even wonders if he has Mom-con.

At this time, Xia Shenyi walked towards them and Zhao Tian looked at the small glass bottle in her hand which contained a red liquid inside it "Is that an artifact?"

Xia Shenyi nodded her head with a smile "An artifact which is used to destroy seals.. this red liquid is a fire poison which corrodes seals and destroys them."

*thrash* She shattered the glass container within her palm and the red potion covered her hand and instantly evaporated forming a red fiery flame within her palm which burned brightly.

Xia Shenyi smiled and glanced at Zhao Ying, Zhao Ying moved a little closer to Xia Shenyi. Xia Shenyi clenched her fist and directly punched Zhao Ying. *whoosh* Eh? Zhao Ying was dumbfounded as Xia Shenyi suddenly tried to punch her.

The transparent seal again appeared and Xia Shenyi's powerful punch landed on the barrier. *boom* her punch sent shockwaves rippling across the air. As her fist came in contact with the barrier, the red flame that danced upon her palm quickly spread, engulfing the entire surface of the barrier.

The barrier began to burn and with that, Xia Shenyi thrust her fist with full force and the barrier began to bulge slightly. "Urgh! Who the hell put this seal..." she grunted and pushed her fist even further.

*crack* Small cracks appeared on the barrier and Zhao Tian smiled seeing this. *crack* *crack* The cracks multiplied rapidly, spreading across its surface until finally *THRASSH* the barrier broke into pieces.

*woosh* Zhao Ying stumbled a step back as the seal broke and fell on Zhao Tian's chest. Xia Shenyi's eyes glowed brightly looking at Zhao Ying and a look of surprise flashed across her face "Regnant Light physique." she muttered.

Zhao Tian frowned hearing this "Is that Ying'er physique?" Xia Shenyi shook her hand as the red fiery flames disappeared "Yeah, this physique is also quite rare because Ying has the power to manipulate Light attribute, which is rare."

Zhao Ying was surprised "I also have a rare physique? But how did you find that?" Xia Shenyi giggled "Because I also have a physique, Astral Constellation Physique which can detect what physique others have..."

 "O-Oh..." Zhao Ying was amused. Zhao Tian spoke, "Then we don't need Affinity orb to check her elemental attribute?"

Seeing the blend of red and blue, Xia Shenyi smiled "See? My attributes... Fire and water." Zhao Tian was amused seeing this.

"Now your turn." Xia Shenyi said placing the affinity orb on his palm. Zhao Tian passed his own astral energy through the affinity orb and he was also curious to know about this.

Xia Shenyi looked at the affinity orb intently and at this time, with a spark *woosh* a reddish flame appeared swirling inside the orb. "Oh? Same as me a fire attribute..."

*thrissh* But this time a thrashing wave of water appeared blending with the fire. Xia Shenyi blinked her eyes in surprise "A dual attribute just like me, Fire and water."

She raised her head looking at Zhao Tian, her eyes full of excitement "I-I never thought there would be a person with four affinities." Zhao Tian chuckled and spoke, "You need to see a little more clearly."

Huh? She again glimpsed at the affinity orb and saw a flash of green and yellow light sweeping along with the other four colors. H-Huh?

Xia Shenyi's eyes dilated in absolute bewilderment and her body quivered, her brain couldn't process what she just saw "A-All six affinities?" she opened her mouth in shock.

She again looked at Zhao Tian in amazement. She has heard rumors about a person in the past having three affinities and he was labeled as the Peerless genius in the cultivation world.

But now here is a guy in front of her, who has affinities towards all six elements. What the actual fuck?

"W-What happened?" Xia Shenyi stammered in disbelief. "Why it turned g-gray?"The affinity orb began to tremble even more, Scared, Xia Shenyi quickly took the affinity orb from his hand.

"What is that gray energy?" Xia Shenyi asked looking at Zhao Tian. Zhao Tian squinted his eyebrows "I have no clue..."

Xia Shenyi clutched her head in confusion "I have never seen that color. What element does it represent? Metal or what? Is your physique interfering with something?" 

"Well, leaving that aside, now I have six affinities mean I can use all of them?" Zhao Tian asked and Xia Shenyi took a deep breath swallowing the information "I-I guess, you are the first one to have all six affinities. I never heard even the previous Honoured One physique holder having all elements."

 "Hoh." Zhao Tian muttered under his breath and asked "Are there only elemental cultivation techniques?"
