13 A system with emotions, first chameleon with clothes on, pills

Everyone who was here was looking at Thomas and Li Jing now.

'System why their reaction is so much different than this of leopards?'

Seeing that all chameleons were looking at him with curiosity or looked like they wanted to fight him, Thomas asked.

'If you are talking about the fact that they are not scared, it's because there is more of them than just two, and they probably never met a human yet because of their young age. No matter how you look at it, humans dominate this world, so other lifeforms will understand at a certain age to not mess with them.'

"I heard that you defeated two leopards. Do you think I'm scared of you because of these rumours? Today I will show you the might of our tribe!"

An only chameleon wearing anything and staying in the middle started talking out of nowhere.

'System, tell me, is my luck good or bad? Since I transmigrated, I only encounter enemies.'

'Host, you can be a target of bad intentions if your enemy has something valuable for you. Its value depends on how strong your enemy is. You are lucky. Didn't you want your life to be more exciting on earth? Your wish came true. As long as a god has something you need, you will anger him. It's a passive ability you gained with me.'

As soon as Luke said it, Thomas saw his stats again, with a small difference. Below 'title' there was a new category called passives.

'Name: Thomas

Race: Human

Title: User of "Dumb luck system."

Passives: Provocative;

As long as other beings possess something that the owner can use, they will involuntarily get irritated by him. If the thing in their possession is of great value, and can't be shared, there is no way owner can persuade them, the fight is inevitable.

Strength: 7 (avg.5)

Speed: 5 (avg.5)

Inteligence: 3 (avg.5)

Luck: 20 (avg.5)'

'Why didn't you said this all before I found you?! Who wants to have countless enemies at all times?!'

'If someone knew about it, he wouldn't accept me. I was in this cave as long as I can remember. There was no suitable person before you who visited me there. If I started in the city, then sure, I would tell them about it. But do you expect me to wait patiently until another person with at least 20 luck appears in an abandoned place like this?!'

Luke couldn't help but let it all out. He also has emotions. He isn't a machine! No one is allowed to treat him as a tool! He wanted to say more, but he noticed something.

"Host, your enemy is getting closer, he will initiate a fight soon. We will talk later."

Thomas was surprised by the fact that Luke was screaming at him, but decided to teach him a lesson later, now was time to get prepared for a fight.

'Let's think, what can I do against invisibility?'

Thomas started searching for information in all novels he read until now.

'I can see the marks left by his footsteps. The grass here is pretty high, so it should be the best option. Aside from this, I can listen if there is any rustle around me.'

Luke decided to let Thomas deal with this fight himself as a form of training. To defeat this enemy, he needed to rely on his luck, and probably 80% of his attacks would be accurate.

His enemy's speciality was invisibility. His other stats were mostly average or even lower. The only thing that made him think he could win was that he was a cultivator.

"Now, come here on this platform and let us have a duel."

'Host, your enemy is rather sly. He doesn't want you to have an advantage, so he chose a place without grass.'

'My int raised to 3. You don't need to explain so much to me now.'

'It doesn't make you a genius.'

"What are you waiting for, human? Are you scared?"

Thomas heard his enemy shouting again and realised that he was thinking for too long. Getting used to talking with Luke so fast, he forgot that it doesn't work the same way while thinking himself.

He didn't answer his enemy but just walked on the stage.

"So you think that you can defeat me? You, a mortal? I see that you are too full of yourself!'

"Can we just start already?"

Thomas was getting already annoyed by this endless talking. Since he wants to fight, can't he start already? What's the use of this meaningless monologue.

Seeing how bored Thomas looked, this chameleon wearing leather clothing, started undress himself with an angry smile on his face.

"We will see how you will talk after this fight!"

After saying these words, Thomas could only see the traces left on the ground.

'Hmm, how should I fight him now.'

*snap*

Just as Thomas was thinking about a way to find out where his enemy was, he heard a noise of someone stepping on a twig.

He turned around, threw a punch at the place where the broken twig was laying and felt that he hit his enemy.

"Ughh!"

As someone with strength stat 7, one punch from Thomas was enough to make his enemy kneel on the ground. He was still invisible, but Thomas didn't give him a chance to get away and threw another attack.

The truth was, he was slightly irritated by those constant attacks in his direction. Even if it was because of his passive ability, he wasn't going to allow this animal talk to him like that.

So he threw, punch after punch, and this chameleon couldn't take it anymore. He struggled to get free, and after finally achieving it, he rushed to get his clothes.

When he was picking them up, three small pills dropped from his pocket, he noticed it but was too scared to pick them.

'Host, I think this is what can be useful to you.'
