16 Chapter 16: Heavenly Fate Plateau

Returning to the Divine Family, Chen Linjian talked to me if I have something to do like traveling or something which got me thinking that this world is big and has many places to explore. I nodded as I recalled the places Nie Li talked about like Endless Dessert, St. Ancestral Mountains, Heavenly Fate Plateau, and more.

Ning'er wants to join my journey which I didn't allow her since she is weak and I am not always 100% by her side. So, I planned to travel alone.

Morning arrived, I am at the border where the exit was. Ning'er, Chen Linjian, and Chen Zhenlong were there to see me off.

" Are you going without me? Please, just this once. I want to go with you" Ning'er said, ready to cry.

" I can't cause there might be an unknown variable that would harm you, even though I am strong. I haven't studied any medical technique that can save others. So, you have to stay here and when you reach at least Gold Rank. I will let you follow me wherever you want to go. " I said since her rank is already at the 4-star silver rank. It won't take her long to reach Gold Rank or even Black Gold rank and the pills I created for her, will let her reach legend rank. Sadly, her fighter rank is at 2-star silver rank and can't make her eat the Ascension Pill that would let her become a Black Gold Rank immediately.

Ning'er nodded as her will to get stronger intensifies while Chen Linjian and Chen Zhenlong just told me to be careful. I nodded as I walked outside for the first time in solo.

I walked and walked with no destination while killing and putting the Demon Beast in my Personal World. Also, the last time I checked my status was the time I first arrived or when I was still in the space. Checking my status this time, I saw many changes but not that many.

Of course, it won't happen as I am not the kind of saint who would help everybody if I don't like it. Of course, it would depend on my mood if I should help them at no cost.

As I walked to the place where they sell some congees. I ordered at that place and see if I can get some information about this place while handing a 3kg of rice.

A waitress walked toward me with curiosity and surprise as she asked.

" Who are you, young man? You're not from here, are you? " She asked while handing me my congee.

" Yes, I am not from here. I am just your everyday traveler who likes to travel? I guess you could say that?" I answered, questioning myself.

" You must be at Black Obsidian Rank at the least for you to come here. You are so young and you've reached Black Obsidian Rank " She said, sitting down and engaging in a deeper conversation.

" Black Obsidian? What's that? Is Black Obsidian equivalent to Black Gold Rank in my place? Well, it should be similar. " I asked, questioning what Black Obsidian Rank is.

" Oh, so It's called Black Gold Rank at your place. Anyway, we call it Black Obsidian here. Call me when you want some of your questions around here to be answered " She said as she goes back to her job.

I continued eating my food while looking at the people doing their own thing like selling the hides of the beast, beast bones, and more.

Moments later, the waitress comes back. Eager to know more about the outside world.

" Right, What's your name young man? My name is Yun Ling" She asked.

" Chen Xiangjun, my name is Chen Xiangjun. Can I ask you a question about where the strongest demon beast is? I am on a quest you see and I need to fight a strong beast to pass some sort of exam. That's why I am traveling in this place " I lied, well not really. I did come to this to look for a strong beast to repopulate those Demon Beast in my collection and it would be good if I can have some Legend Rank Beast in my world.

" Oh, I know a place where you can find strong Beast. It's called Black Spring, it's underneath this place. There's a story about this place where a Demon Beasts stronger than Black Obsidian or Black Gold in your place. They reside in the Black Spring if I were you. I wouldn't recklessly go there just to fight. " Yun Ling said seriously while I nodded.

Thanking her, I gave her 20kg of Rice which is 1 sack of rice each 1kg. She thanked me as I walked towards the Black Spring to continue my journey.

Many minutes later, I finally arrived and senses multiple strong beasts that are equivalent to my rank which is Legend Rank. Some are even at the 5-star legend rank.

Walking toward one of the legend rank beasts, I saw a giant ape the size of 70 Meters with white fur all over its body. Fortunately and unfortunately for this guy, it is only a 2-star legend rank. I sprinted towards the beast and he didn't even notice anything before his head drop to the floor while my scythe has blood trickling down. I activated my Devouring Ability as I got its soul force and strength which are 2-star legend rank in both Demon Spiritualist and Fighter Rank.

I continued my rampage upon sensing that my demon beast inside my world is stronger than them in terms of potential. But, I also transfer some demon beasts to my Personal World.

Hours later, I finished my job and why it was long that it took me some hours, it's because of my fault for watching some Demon Beasts making out.

Anyway, as I walked around the place with my new strength of peak Demon Spiritualist and Fighter Rank. I stumbled upon a flickering fiery light coming at the cave I was staying at, making me walk towards it, and saw a light under the water, shining brightly like a sun. I swam under and saw a lady with red and sometimes, orange hair and then changes to White Hair.

I also sense that her cultivation rank is at a level I haven't felt before, a higher level than the legend rank but it seems it's slowly getting to a legend rank. She also has a mysterious power in her, as if the fire is matching her rhythmic breathing.

Swimming faster and bringing her up, I saw her face up close and saw that she is slowly regaining her consciousness.

" Who are you? What did you do to me?" She asked cautiously as she backed off from me.

" Me, I am a traveler who likes to explore unknown places and I chance upon this cave and sense you inside. Anyway, I should be asking you that. Who are you? Are you even a human? " I asked, making her alert.

" How do you know I am not a human? Since you know that I am not a human, Die! " With a single burst of flame coming out of her hands. I dodged it upon sensing its danger.

" What power is that? If you tell me, I will let you off" I said, coldly looking at her. Releasing my aura for her to see my rank.

" You! You are a 5-star legend rank!? But you are just a 13-year-old. This is near impossible and except if you're a super genius that can only be seen for a million years! If what you're saying is true, I will tell you about the laws " She said and seems to be having a mental breakdown. The years of accumulation about cultivations seem nothing to me. As if common sense and logic of this world don't affect me.

" I promise you, I will let you go if you tell me about these so-called laws. " I said and go into a meditative pose. She did the same and calm herself.

" Okay, I will tell you about the laws but are you going to keep your promise? " She again said which annoyed me.

" If you asked one more time, I will kill you for sure and I mean it " This make her shut up and talked about the laws.

" Power of Law or Law energy is an extremely pure type of soul force and (the power of copy-paste arrived ) It can take decades to empty yourself and let your heart become pure and clean like the heavens and earth. The power of law will then sense your sincere heart and accept you. There are many types of law you can comprehend like, ice, darkness, light, death, life, and more. " She said as if she is a teacher, teaching a student.

" I see, as I promised. I will let you go since you told me about this so-called power of law. Goodbye and hopefully, never see you again " I said as I walked outside, leaving her inside.

Since I got a worthwhile adventure, I go back to Glory City at a fast speed and in just 7 days, I arrived inside.

Hello, my name is Yu Yan. A girl that is born through the power of law. Let me tell you a story about this young, but a rude 13-year-old kid. But, his power is something else. Something tells me that he is not from this world but I can't be too sure about that. Anyway, this young kid woke me up and attacked him, which he dodges with ease. This surprise me and when I tried to attack again, he unleashed his aura and fear and assaulted my entire being as if I do one wrong move.

I could get killed. Thankfully, he was interested in the power of law, making him spare my life. I really should change my way of attacking people suddenly so that this won't happen again. Anyway, that's all.

Arriving at the Glory City, I walked inside while thinking about what happened in the last past few days and as I was walking, I didn't realize Lu Piao was in front of me and bump into him.

" Hey! Watch where you're going- Oh, it's you Xiangjun! Long Time no see. " Lu Piao said while he was with his lover. It seems that they are going on a date.

" Oh, hello there Lu Piao. Looks like you are on your date, I'll catch up to you later. See you and enjoy your date" I said as I waved at him and run back to the Divine Family. Thinking about the power of laws again, thinking about how to cultivate law until I remembered the lady when she talked about the law.

She said that it takes some decades to sense law but I already sense her use of the power of law, does that mean I can learn the law? No, it shouldn't work that way. Even if I can sense it, I don't know how to absorb it like the soul force. I should've asked her about it when I was still there. Oh well, no use in crying over spilled milk.
