13 Chapter 13: Ning'er and Xiangjun ( part 2 )

Going back to the institute. Nie Li and co. attacked me with questions that I answered truthfully. Some questions are even absurd if we had a night with each other and I answered NO. Which makes them throw a doubtful looked and I punch them one by one on their faces. As the class finished, Ning'er and I walked to the cafeteria with Nie Li, Du Zhe, Li Piao, Ye Ziyun, and the other two.

We talked about many things like what's our relationship status between me and Ning'er. Of course, Nie Li is the one who asked that which I asked him what's his relationship with Ye Ziyun who seems to be close with Nie Li. Well, Nie Li boldly said that they have a thing with each other which makes Ye Ziyun bashful and punch Nie Li across the Cafeteria.

She slowly walked to the mother cat and baby kittens calling them and reassuring them that she will not hurt them or anything that can potentially harm them. Little by little, the mother cat slowly walked in cautiousness toward Ning'er and rub its head on her jade-like skin and beautiful legs and flawless white skin that can make the previous world I am in getting envious. Of course, even in this world. Beauty is everything to the women and I am up for it.

The mother cat was surprised by my eyes spinning slowly as if in a trance, the mother cat slowly walked towards me and looked at me in the eyes.

Ning'er looked at my eyes changing and was surprised by its pattern itself. It was like a triangle that merge with another triangle in a down way as it spins slowly until it changes back to the original.

Ning'er didn't think much of it as she focuses more on the kittens while I focused more on the mother cat. Picking it up, we bring the cats back to the institute, and fortunately, we were allowed because of Ning'er's status since my status of being accepted as the son of Patriarch of the Divine Family has not been announced yet.

While walking towards the dorms, we discussed where we should let the cats stay and I said to her that she can take it she smiled happily and nodded while the mother cat didn't have a problem with it and followed Ning'er back to her dorm.

Arriving at her dorm, I bid my farewell as I walked back to my dorm when Ning'er sneakily kissed my cheeks and run inside. I touched where she kissed it and smiled lightly.

" Sneaky Girl..." I muttered as I go back to my dorm and slept as if nothing happens.

Days have passed and today is the day my ceremonial acceptance begins. Chen Linjian told me to get dressed properly as I was waiting in the dressing room, there were too many formal clothes in the closet that I have a hard time what to pick and it even have modern suits and I don't even know how they got here when Ning'er with Mother cat on her arms walked and pointed at the blue suit with a golden lining in it.

" This would look good in you. Try it " Ning'er said as I nodded and changes my clothes in front of her, making her blush and covered her eyes.

I just looked at her and laugh lightly, changing my clothes to the blue suit. Thankfully, it comes with a pair. After finishing with my suit, an attendant knock and goes inside and told me to get ready as the ceremonial acceptance will begin in five minutes I nodded as he go back.

Five minutes later, I walked outside of the dressing room, and just in time, the announcer introduce me which is my cue as I go out to the stage. I see many influential people from each family, young masters from each family, my friends, and even the City Lord was here.

Chen Zhenlong, the patriarch of the Divine Family told me to bow to the heavens, earth, and him. Which I did and announced me as his official son from now on and changes my name to Chen Xiangjun. A banquet was presented as my friends had its table, this event continues for many hours until midnight and all these influential people tried to make some connections to me with gifts and even the daughters of these influential people and family.

When Chen Zhenlong announced something I expected but the others didn't expect it.

" Winged Dragon Family, one of the noble families. I want the hand of your younger generation, Xiao Ning'er to be engaged to my new Son, Xiangjun. Please accept my request to have Xiao Ning'er have her be part of the Divine Family. " Chen Zhenlong requested or more like an order they can't refuse.

With the bomb drop, the winged dragon family was troubled since Xiao Ning'er was engaged to Shen Fei, the Older Brother of Shen Yue. A part of the Sacred Family's direct bloodline which means they can't just decide immediately and abandoned it even though the Divine Family is also equal in status to the Sacred Family.

This in turn makes the Sacred Family have their faces seem to be of no worth as if they are being ignored and thought of this move by the Patriarch of Divine Family as a reckless one for his new son which he picked from somewhere and wanted to give him something that can humiliate them.
