11 Chapter 11: Alchemist Association

Hours had passed since the expedition team dug the training ground. Finally, they finished digging it and saw a stair that was going down. Chen Linjian, the leader of the expedition told someone to go inside as the others nodded.

Nie Li volunteered as he goes down and sees many treasures but what he comes here is a lamp that has a shadowy figure. He snatch it without the others knowing and as he finished his business. He shouted that he finally see the treasures.

The expedition team walked downstairs in a hurry and upon seeing the mountainous treasures, they jumped at them and throw the treasures at the sky.

Since the treasure had been seen, Chen Linjian suppress his joyous expression as he ordered the members to put all the treasures in the storage ring.

Moments later, we walked back outside and readied our return to Glory City.

" Nie Li, what did you get?" I asked Nie Li as he whispered to me.

" A lamp, that's it. Let's go back to Glory City " Nie Li said.

I nodded as Chen Linjian walked toward us.

" What are you guys talking about? Xiangjun, you will follow me to the Divine Family upon returning to introduce you. Also, here are some presentable clothes you will wear. " Handing me a storage ring, I accepted it as I thanked him.

" Thanks, We should get going faster since we might stumble upon some beast horde like the Giant Blue Armed Apes. " Diverting his question, I told him the dangers of dilly-dallying longer here.

He nodded as he ordered the team to depart. We walked continuously and soon, 3 days had passed and we finally arrived at the Glory City. We handed our identification cards to the guards who accepted them and let us in. Nie Li who's with us this whole time, separated as he said that he has something to do at the alchemist association. I nodded as he walked in the direction where the Alchemist Association is.

While I and Chen Linjian walked towards the Divine Family as we separated from others. Ning'er wants to come with us as I looked at Chen Linjian for confirmation and with some sort of misunderstanding, he allowed Ning'er to come with us which makes me silently sigh in frustration.

Arriving at the Divine Family, the guards respectfully bowed to Chen Linjian as he waved his hands and walked inside. Following him, we arrived at the house where the Patriarch of the Divine Family are staying.

" Fa- *cough* I mean Family Head, I have brought someone to you that I want him to be a part of the Divine Family. This is Xiangjun and he has reached 3-star silver rank at the age of 13 years old "Chen Linjian said proudly as if he was the one who achieved this rank.

" Really!? That's good, I'm proud of you son. So, you are Xiangjun? Welcome to our Divine Family. I will make you my son and you will be the younger brother of Linjian, Haha" Divine Family Head, Chen Zhenlong. The father of Chen Linjian laughs happily.

" To correct you for that, Family Head. I am already at 4 Star Black Gold and nearing 5 Star Black Gold. " I said as if It's as easy as drinking water to reach that level which I didn't lie since it is easy for me to level up.

" Huh!? You already reached 4 star Black Gold Rank!? This is impossible! No, it shouldn't be since you are in front and a living example of reaching that level at a young age " The Patriarch was stunned and doubtful about his cultivation right now. Even, Chen Linjian and Ning'er were stunned since 8 days ago, he was talking about being in silver rank and now, he reached an unimaginable and impossible achievement of reaching Black Gold and its 4 star rank at that as 13 years old.

" Well, it just happened. Anyway, what's the procedure of being part of your family so that we will get done with it. I still have to go to the Alchemist Association to see my friend, Nie Li " I said to which Chen Zhenlong nodded and said to me that he will start a ceremony of acceptance in three days which I accepted. I walked but I was stopped by Chen Zhenlong's question to Ning'er.

" Oh, it's you Xiao Ning'er from Winged Dragon Family. One of the Noble Family, you have grown up into a beautiful woman. Are you a lover of Xiangjun? " Chen Zhenlong asked as Ning'er blushed and glances at me.

" Yes, they are lovers Father. I even see them talking in hidden and see Ning'er blushing when they got back. Even my Expedition Team members can verify it " Chen Linjian said enthusiastically.

" Good, good. I shall go to the Winged Dragon Family and have Ning'er and Xiangjun get married. Xiangjun, come and escort your Ning'er back to her house and also, introduce yourself to her family. You can do it, we believed in you " Chen Zhenlong raises his hand towards me and thumbs up.

" I think you are misunderstanding something here. We are no*mhhnhm* " I said but I got my mouth blocked by the blushing Ning'er as she bowed to Chen Zhenlong and dragged me out.

" What did you do that for? You are making a misunderstanding the others about us. We are just friends and nothing more, nothing less. " I said angrily as I stormed off to the Alchemist Association.

Ning'er looked at me running off as I leave her behind. Ning'er thought about her action as her expression turned into a sad one.

" What have I done? I shouldn't have done that and made him angry at me. I should apologize to him tomorrow and never again see him to make him happy " Ning'er muttered as she walked alone to the Winged Dragon Family.

While I was running, I looked back and didn't see Ning'er again.

" I shouldn't do that. I am a better person and know that she admired me. But, she makes me mad because she doesn't want the others to know that we are just friends. Yeah, I have nothing to apologize for. " I said to myself just to feel better but in my heart, I feel guilty about what I've done.

But it can't be helped, I am a guy who had a trust issue about relationships and don't want to meddle in them even though I liked to have one. In my previous life, I always thought that being in a relationship restricts you and can make you a stressed and depressed person. Because of that reason, I didn't engage in a relationship.

Oh well, I will just let fate decide for me. I should go now and see what Nie Li is doing. Also, to try my Alchemy Talent in there.

Arriving, I see a building with a plate board that said, Alchemist Association. I walked inside and see numerous people buying and walking inside the Alchemist Association.

I walked to the counter and the attendant said.

" Are you here for a test? Then walked to the right and a person will guide you to the alchemist test. " He said as I nodded since I am also here to test out my Alchemy Talent. So why not try it, It won't harm me in any way. I walked to my right side as I saw the guide who escorted me inside. I told him if he have some type of recipe for an alchemist and he nodded but looked at me confusingly by my words.

I just said to him that I am new to alchemy and want to see a recipe.

He handed me the recipe as I read it and I give it back to him. Minutes later, the guide told me to go inside one of the rooms which I did. Walking inside, I saw 5 people trying to concoct some pills as my Alchemy Talent started to work. There are many flaws in the way they concocted a pill.

The judge who sees me standing told me to start my pill concoction as I did. The pill I am going to do is Soul Assembling Pill, a common pill that can help enhance your soul force. Thankfully, I have many herbs in my personal world and bring them out in a disguise through a storage ring.

Bringing out the herbs, I started my concoction and after not even 30 minutes yet, I already finished the concoction. Surprising the judges as they can't even do that as a master and the most surprising thing is that I produce 20 pills in a single batch and all of them are high grades. No, it could be called a perfect grade as the effect doubled than the usual Soul Assembling Pill which they tested and verified.

The judges hurried outside as they told me to stay inside. Minutes later, the president of Alchemist Association, Gu Yan presented himself as the judges told him about what happened thirty minutes ago.

" Are you the one who created this Soul Assembling Pills they mentioned that doubles the effect than the normal one? " Gu Yan asked as I looked around to see no one. Not even the five participants were present since the judges shoo them away.

" Have you seen anyone here but me? Since I see no one and I am the only present person here. You should know that" I said to him confusingly. Is this guy brain dead or has he seen some ghost?

" Haha, You are a bold one kid. I like you, come with me and I will make you a grand master in the alchemist Association immediately " Gu Yan said.

" Old Man, I don't swing that way. I am not a guy who will hit on guys. Anyway, let's go and make sure that the procedures go well " I said as I looked at him weirdly.

He laughed again as we walked to his room and handed me a badge that has a Grandmaster in it. He also hands me a robe that fit my size since I am quite taller than Nie Li. Upon having my business here finished, I inquired about where the Library is and Gu Yan told me the direction.

I nodded at him and walked towards the Library full of recipes and research about Alchemy. I read all of it and acquired a certain level of alchemy and can be rightfully called a True Grandmaster in Alchemy.

I walked outside and walked back to the Divine Family. Of course, I was not stopped since the Guards know who I am already and I have my identification that signifies that of a Patriarch Level of identification. This was given to me since they are still forging an identification that signifies me being part of the Divine Family.

Walking inside, I saw many things I didn't see when I first came here as I stroll around the Compound. Many Divine Family kids are playing, training, and reading some books. I even saw some kids with eighth-grade syndrome. Minutes later, I finally decided to return to the academy to sleep.
