Turnabout Feelings

Li went out of her room for a little breakfast, it was Miles' birthday, February 16. He's turning 15 today.

"Miles! Miles!"

She exclaimed, Smiling while running down.

"Li?"

He said, looking up from his book.

She jumped on him.

"Woah, Woah, Woah, Hold your-"

something--I mean, Someone cut him off

"Happy Birthday!"

She exclaimed ever so hapily and cute, it was to the point it made him look away and blush

"L-Li..."

He stuttered turning even more read

"I baked you a cake last night, I hope you like it"

She said, jumping off his lap

"O-oh, R-really"

Miles blushed even harder, he would have never thought someone like her actually took time out of their study period to bake and make him a cake.

"It's like a matcha-ish flavor"

She said, taking it out of the fridge

Miles stood up, walking towards her and sat down at the table.

"It's sad that Papa and Franzy isn't around since both of them are in the U.S., They'll be back by 4 months time."

Li sighed, while cutting a peice for Miles to taste.

Li took a plate and a cup, she placed the cake on the plate and carried it to Miles

"Here you go, Mr. Edgeworth"

She chuckled

Li then got back to the cup, walking up the thermos. Miles just watched her while taking bite after bite, enjoying the flavoring.

"Need help?"

He asked about to get up.

"Hm, No, not at all"

she smiled at the older one

When she was done pouring in the tea and giving it to Miles she sat down next to him

"Hey, you go any good reads?"

She asked

"Haha, nothing that you wouldn't like"

Miles said, placing away the dishes that would be washed later by the maids when they arrive.

"I've always wanted a brother"

She started

"really?"

Miles frowned, because he wanted to be more than that.

"I never expected it to be you"

She started smiling.

"I...I'll be honest with you Li"

He said, looking away

"when I first met you, I...didn't expect that love would find it's way into my heart."

He started

"but now, whenever I look at you, I wonder...why am I weighed down by unease and uncertaincy, is it because I am in a new household?, or is it because I have feelings for my best friend which is now my sister"

He continued

"But now, I realize, I can't carry on my duties as your best friend and/or your future boyfriend if you-"

He was cut off by turning his head to see little Li back to sleep.

"Sometimes, I don't know why I find myself loving you every moment of my life."

He said, slowly leaning in....but then, he backed out.

Miles just stood up and started carrying her back to her room

When he entered he saw how Neat and tidy her room was compaired to Franziska's. He plaved her on her bed and started to admire her face. He was about to leave until....

"Don't go Miles"

She whimpered, Tears falling down, She pulled him onto the bed facing eachother, she was knocked out.
