1 Prologue

I took a deep breath and drank my drink as I watched the reels spin. I was lucky, Shizune went shopping, I was fine since she didn't want her to see me in this shit.

"The first reel stopped on a watermelon."

"The second reel, a watermelon." I leaned in for a few seconds, my nose inches from the machine.

Back on topic, it was depressing, Tsunade's last days were filled with drowsiness, irregular sleep schedules, dark circles under her eyes, total neglect of her personal hygiene, loss of appetite and weight loss. As she continued to gamble and drink her weak body had suffered fatal energy depletion.

"A normal person would have died like a hundred times, Senju's stamina is monstrous." I proudly declared rolling up my coat sleeves and rubbing "my" new muscles.

Returning to the topic for the second time, Tsunade passed out in the room and was dying, but at that moment my soul had transmigrated and stayed in her body. So in short, "my essence" had become the new Tsunade.

"Watching The Truman's Show really prepared me for these kinds of situations, otherwise I would have killed myself or been crying and getting drunk on a street corner."

I resigned myself, finished my drink and opened my bag. "Well, I lost everything."

My bag was empty, so I looked around as if someone was going to magically give me money.

My newfound alcoholism made me feel like a moth flying into the deadly light of a light bulb. I had to fix that, but that will be another time. The bartender served me alcohol, I sat down and started drinking it. I watched him closely as he served another customer.

'With these new abilities, I could cast a genjutsu on him.' But, I preferred not to, after all, he is an innocent civilian who only does his job.

I feel disgusted that Tsunade has done that to several waiters in the past, and now I'm her. And besides, a genjutsu was a bit extreme for normal bartenders.

"How am I going to get out of this?" I wondered scratching my butt. Damn, butt scratching is really comfortable when you do it again for the first time.

I looked around me, there were two exits from the casino. One to the south, one to the east. He could easily run away; surely, as one of the Sanin, I could outrun anyone weaker than another Sanin.

Disappointed in myself for the costume, I stood up, only to see a furious Shizune carrying a bag of groceries. Of course, Shizune saw through my disguise and she wasn't willing to pay the piper for me again.

"Tsunade-sama." Shizune's disappointment was evident.

"Let's go from here". I said, taking Shizune by the elbow.

When we left the casino, I tried to run down the crowded street. Shizune ran after me, screaming.

"Dammit, Tsunade-sama! It's the third time this week."

"I know, I'm going to fix my life!" I roared.

We don't stop running untilwe were far from the casino. My head kept spinning, so we stopped near a street where people were passing.

"Tsunade-sama." Shizune broke the silence. "How much longer are we going to keep doing this?" There was a deep sadness in her words.

"I dont know." I shook my head. "I'll fix it, got it?"

Shizune froze for a second, her head drooping and her shoulders slumping.

"In fact!?" Shizune asked in amazement, her face looking hopeful.

"Don't be discouraged Shizune, we always win. Before, I had lost the direction of my life, but now I have recovered it". I affirmed with a smile.

"Tsunade-sama..."

'Plus, I'm just as excited to test my skills as I am to eat a giant burger from Burger King.'

"Tsunade-sama, please promise." Shizune took my hands with determination.

If I didn't "know" Shizune, I'd think this is some kind of romantic statement. She could see the feelings in her eyes, sincerity, determination, concern, and hope.

"I promise." I smiled.

Shizune was the best assistant anyone could have, she was basically babysitting a grown woman for years with no rewards or anything paying her for basically being Tsunade's babysitter, my babysitter.

"Shizune, can I ask you a question?"

"Don't worry Tsunade-sama, I paid for the hotel rooms at the beginning."

'Thanks god.' "Can I give you a hug". I said extending my arms.

"Uh...okay." She hugged me back.

"I just wanted to say thank you."
