13 The Unexpected
That night, wen jun slept like a log. He felt so drained after he comes out of the sword memory.

The thing that he saw in the sword memory was truly odd. The former vampire lord have the exact same face as him.
But at the same time different. The former vampire lord will make those who look at him feel the feeling of dangerousness. wen jun felt that when he looks at him. while wen jun who look similar to him have no such thing.

Wen jun emits the aura of someone that is a bit laid back and not dangerous whatsoever while the former vampire lord aura were dangerous and unstoppable.

It could be seen that the former vampire lord wants his every move to bring benefits and entertainment to him while wen jun every move was to ensure his safety and survival ever since he arrived in this world.

The night passed by and then morning comes

The morning sunshine was beautiful especially when u look at it from inside a crater. I'm surprised I slept so soundly like nothing ever happen yesterday.

After waking up I saw that everybody else was already ready to leave and continue the journey. I was sleeping in some corner of the rocks as I was too tired to go to the tent yesterday.

I feel like my energy was drained to the core after I woke up from the sword forced memory showing. It feels so unreal but I know it's true as the sword words aren't coated with lies.

How did I know the sword is not lying? It's because I seem to have the ability to tell what is a lie and what is not.
That's also the reason why I trust old man Titan and Tiana. because they never lie when I'm with them and everything that they do with me was genuine.

Anyway, It's really hard to believe but someone with the same face as me exist thousand of years ago and furthermore, he is extremely strong unlike me.

His ability is also similar to mine like the ability to manipulate blood. But the thing is, his version was stronger than the one my body did before.
Furthermore, he can even create thousands of clones of himself and each have the strength that shouldn't be underestimated. I'm not sure whether I have this ability but there's always a possibility.

Now I'm starting to wonder whether this body is really that old vampire lord body or not.

Could I have taken his body by accident or something?

I'm not sure now because my face is the same face I had from the previous world so I always thought that this was my own body.

While wen jun was busy in his deep thinking.
.
A bird sent by a scout of the demon knight has just come back to report on what he saw.
In his report, he have stated that a black gorilla of at least the fourth tier have just ravaged the whole Tamon village and seems to have headed towards them.

The whole knight team was now panicking and need to rearrange their plans. Especially the demon knight squad leader in charge of this operation looks like he is about to go bald from the stress he is receiving.
.
Yesterday the knights and the few village representatives have already come to an agreement to take the longer path as it is safer with the less chance of the stampede happening on that route.
But now it seems like their plan needs to be change a little bit.
.
A fourth tier demon beast is no simple matter. They need to have at least a captain rank demon officers to be able to handle a fourth tier one.
.
The squad of this demon army are consists of around fifteen people.
With four scouts, two magicians, three healers, and the rest is the vanguard. They might not be much in number but they can handle up to tier three magic beast with no problem.

Besides, The mission they are assign to is a mission to make sure the safety of the villagers by bringing them to the checkpoint so they never would have thought that something bad will happen in this simple escort mission.

While the people who know about the approaching danger panicking. Wen jun who just wake up was enjoying his mushroom breakfast prepared by Tiana.

Suddenly

[ My lord, some small fry is approaching us with ill intent. I know you will be safe but if that small fry come here your whole monkey servant might be whipped out ]

I was faking my enjoyment of eating Tiana mushroom dish until Aria suddenly telling me that something is approaching here with ill intent.
.
Don't get me wrong the dish she cooks is delicious but I eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, again and again, all this time I'm here. so it's reasonable that I start to be sick of eating the mushroom dish.
.
Anyway back to the topic. So something is approaching and going to whip out my monkey servant? what does she mean by that? Is she saying all of these people in the camp are my servant or something?
.
Wanting to know what she meant I then finish my meal in a hurry and sneakily jump to the top of the canyon hidden from the eyes of the villagers and knights.
.
I kept Aria inside of my cloth and I was actually surprised that she could talk right now. I thought that she could only talk when she is in her sword form but I guess I was wrong on this one.
.
I then take out Aria and then ask her about what's going on.
.
After her weird explanation, I come to the conclusion that a pretty strong entity is heading this way targeting this group of demons.
.
Now I'm glad that I actually follow them because if not this entity that Aria said could easily wipe out all of the people here including the knights are probably going to die a tragic death
.
Although now I'm glad that my decision to follow them is correct. I don't really know how to stop that beast that are coming this way.
I knew that my body is strong and have some sort of defense mechanism but I think that that will only be triggered in a life and death situation. I don't want to suffer again to be honest.
.
As I was thinking while looking in the direction Aria said the beast will come. Aria start to talk to me
.
[ My lord, what are you pondering about? Why do you look so serious? Are you finally thinking about conquering the whole continent now? ]

Listening to her weird questions. I just couldn't help it but think that this talking sword is not only dumb but also weird.
I then tell her about the predicament that I'm facing.

[ Wow my lord, you turned really dumb after the hibernation. I recommend you never do that again. And why are you using that face of deep thinking for such a small fry? You usually use that kind of face when it's related to the leaders or guardian of other races ]

In rage of this sword bold statement I then just couldn't help it but say.

"Then why don't you solve this problem for me"

I actually meant to say it in an angry manner but again my face just won't show it. Instead, I said it in a cold tone.

Aria just keeps quiet for a while until it finally said ok.

I was actually curious why Aria decided to agree to it even though it's obvious that she was speechless a second there.

Following her command, I stand up and activate her blade form using my blood.
Now that I look at her I feel like she wasn't messing around now. I saw in her sword memory and every move that the old vampire lord made using her are extremely flashy and cool.
Worried that she really isn't bluffing now I then told her to use a move that wont attract attention to me.

After letting out a sigh she then instruct me on what sort of poss I should make.

After her sentence, a magic circle the size of a plate appeared in front of the tip of her blade. My body then moves like it's a natural thing to do. No, it's not the same as last time. This time I feel the feeling of moving my body on my own but was guided by something to follow the move.

With a thrust to the middle of the magic circle. It then starts to disappear into tiny light.

As I was smirking ready to mock her for her bluff.

A red and golden pillar appeared out of nowhere. It's located pretty far in the forest area but it's so flashy that you could see it from miles away.

[ My lord, What's gotten into you? Usually, you are the one that does all the hard work while I just sit back and relax. I hope you won't stay dumb forever ]

I heard her statement but I couldn't get angry at her. The sight of the majestic pillar put me in awe.
Not just me, Everybody that saw it was looking at it speechless as well

"Soon I will arrive just a little bit more! His scent is getting stronger and stronger Hahahahaha"

"EH? what's that sound? Why it's dark so suddenly? "

The Gorilla was in shock to the point it's body stop moving to observe the situation. As it slowly gazes into the sky while trembling.

"A magic circle! And those bats that linger around it could only means that it's a vampire magic. Oh no, I have to escape. "
"That vampire is way stronger than I expected. There's no way I'm that guy match."
.
As the gorilla desperately tried to run back. The magic circle open and something appeared. It looks like a dimensional crack that you see on those stories about hunter and such from manhwa.
The only difference is that this crack is facing down towards the earth itself.
The inside looks like what you may call an endless void with no way to know what's the end of it.

With a loud sound

A pillar of light then appeared. Extinguishing everything that is unfortunate to be in the radius of the pillar. Of course, this also includes the black gorilla as the scale of the pillar was way too big. He didn't get the chance to escape it even after using every ounce of his energy to escape.
