4 It's Seems That I Am An Honored Guest Of A Vampire Noble

Bastil have a pretty high ranking among the true vampires but he decided to govern the small town without a name because he was a researcher at heart.

He couldn't help but be seduced by the ruins and abandon his high position at the vampire city Levinas which is the core city of the vampire race.

His routine is the same ever since he moved in, from going to the ruins in the morning and come back in the evening. He would like to stay longer in the ruins but his work from his previous job followed him.

Every day was bliss for him, The hardship he felt when he needs to beg on the ground for more than twenty years and give half of his wealth to a pure-blood vampire just so he could research the ruins was worth it for him.

But alas every good thing must come to an end. The pure-blood vampire that allows him to do research only lets him stay for a year there because Bastil is actually a member of the vampire council.

The pure blood actually put up with his begging for twenty years because he doesn't want an important and influential guy like Bastil to waste his time doing research instead of committing himself to his work to help control the vampire country. Even the act of taking half his wealth was an attempt to stop him but alas it didn't work.

The permit to stay was signed with the golden blood and on it only says the right to stay for only a year.

Once it reaches the time limit the contract will disappear and if he were to be stubborn and enter the ruins he will either be killed or be drag back to Levinas.

His contract to stay will end within a month but he still have a long way to go before he could even understand one-tenth of the ancient text of the old age.

Bastil has been sulking the past few days thinking that his research is going to end just like that after his permit disappears.

As he was sulking in his research room, A sudden aura of a being shock him. The barrier of the town prevents the aura from leaking in at first but the moment that being entered the town.

Bastil could immediately sense it and couldn't help but to fly to the gate at a tremendous speed without paying attention to his research room wall that has been broken because he didn't use the door.

This aura is very familiar to him because he have been in a presence of one that has a similar aura.

He arrives at the town gate and immediately changes back from his form that looks like a bat covered in black mist and just lets his body fall from the sky.

He lands on his feet and immediately kneels down. He felt fear but at the same time excited because the being in front of him is not the same being that he met before.

"It doesn't matter who gave the permission as long as it's from a pure-blood. This is an opportunity I can't let go of. I need to beg this lord for his blood seal so I can continue my research" is what Bastil keep thinking about in his head

Bastil offers to let that being rest in his home which he never really uses because he only uses the research room.

He even goes and declares that the town is not good enough for that being. while kissing his hand. he was afraid that that being is trying to be undercover and stay at an inn instead of his home.

The townspeople knew who Bastil is and of course, they be scared if someone who even Bastil called lord tries to stay near them.

That being is none other than wen jun and he was indeed planning to live undercover at first. He have no money so his goal for the day was to find a bridge so that he can sleep under it.

He was planning to try finding work in town to get money while getting more information about this world he's in.

Unfortunately for him, this weird old guy that looks forty-something have to make life hard for him.

The crowd just getting bigger and bigger and seeing their fellow townspeople kneeling also make them kneel after arriving.

He got no choice but to accept the offer given by the old guy even though he was really trying not to attract attention.

Bastil leads wen jun to his home while the townspeople clear the way for him and Bastil to walk through.

Upon arriving at Bastil house wen jun saw a room with a big hole visible from the front gate. It looks like a library of some sort but as he was about to focus his eye to look clearly into the room Bastil stop him and immediately said he will show him his room.

His actions make wen jun curious but he won't pry into it because it's irrelevant to him.

Bastil called for his servant and whisper to him to escort wen jun to the best room available.

Bastil himself never really enter other rooms except for his research room in his mansion so he could only hope that the best room he talking about exists.

Bastil was actually in a hurry because it seems like he didn't realize that he makes such a huge mess in his research room and afraid some of his research papers might fly because of the wind.

He got no choice but to politely ask for permission from wen jun to go do his business.

"Carry on" wen jun replied

After giving permission, wen jun was then guided by the servant to his room. wen jun room was majestic.

A red theme room with a lot of fancy-looking decoration with a king-size bed and comfortable red mats covering the whole room.

The mats was really comfortable to step in, to the point he was worried that he might dirty it with his feet which were bare since the beginning but when he looked at his feet, strangely it's not dirty at all.

Wen jun keep wondering about what his body have become while sitting on the bed enjoying food that the servants bring him.

He's basically living the life of a king with all the good stuff that he has been given by Bastil.

Although it's not as good as his previous room on earth, considering that this world is not that advance. the treatment he got here is basically a first-class one.

-----------

Days pass by just like that and wen jun have been living at Bastil house for almost a week. Bastil still hasn't shown up in front of him since the first time he saw him.

Unknown to him Bastil was actually thinking of ideas to try to make him sign a permit with his golden blood.

He has been playing a lot of situations in his head where he beg or cling to wen jun but he knows that this pure-blood is not the pure-blood he been friends with so the ending he can see is either wen jun leaving or he got roast alive by wen jun powers because he offends him.

While Bastil busy with his stuff. Wen jun goes undercover sometimes to gather information from the townspeople about the world affairs through their gossip. He also visits the library there to see the history of the world he's in.

Luckily for him, it seems like he is capable of reading the language of this world. He gains a lot of info about the different races, cultures, unique abilities of each race, and the known history of the world.

The people of this world never really give a name to this planet they living on right now.

Considering that they don't even know space exists, it's understandable that they never bother to name their home planet.

This world consists of different races. And in the Naz continent he currently at, among those races, five races are above the others.

This is because those five have either greater in number or greater in strength. and each rule a country of their own.

There are humans in the middle, beasts in the east, vampires in the west, elves in the north, and demons in the south.

There's currently a sign of war going to happen soon between the humans and demons but the vampires don't really care about it that much because it's irrelevant to them even though the demons are trying to allied themselves together with the vampires.

After all, the humans have been friends with the beast race for years now especially after the cross-breeding between those two become successful with the emergence of beastman.

Just like other vampires, wen jun don't really care about the upcoming war because it's irrelevant to him considering he no longer humans but a vampire living in a vampire town where all residents are basically either half-ling or normal vampires.

He sees no reason to care that much and just thinks that the outcome of the war will be interesting.

Wen jun might be a vampire now but he still have no idea on how to use his ability. In this world where it's basically survival of the fittest.

He knew he stands no chance at all without learning how to use magic and his race innate abilities.

Wen jun return back from his trip to the library to Bastil mansion late at night today. As he was about to enter his room. He could hear the sound of someone running.

"My lord, wait!!!"
