I'm the sister in the sequel

When I was 16, I came across a book that I became obsessed with reading almost every day. I was excited and anxious when I heard that the writer was in the process of writing the sequel. When it did come out, I read both repeatedly because I loved them, just like when I first read them. Dragons, magic, demons, and war romance are all you would want from a fantasy novel. When I got an opportunity to go to a book signing, I jumped with joy to get my favorite author's autograph. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me that I worked extra hours even though I was still in school to save up and go. It wasn't long after I was on cloud nine with joy, but for some reason, I started coughing and couldn't stop even when the red liquid came out of my mouth as I coughed. I don't remember much after that. Most likely, I died due to something unknown.

"I finally got Ai-senpai's autograph!"

Passersby couldn't help but glance at the joyful me, although I'm not being discreet about my joy. In all my life, I can't help but be happy right now. My favorite author had a book signing close to where I live, so I worked day and night while still attending school to save money and come here. So not only did I get to meet my Idol, but I also got her autograph. I could die happy now, and I would have no regrets. As soon as that thought crossed my mind, every cell in my body was on fire, and I started coughing.

*COUGH* *COUGH* *COUGH*

What is going on?!

People backed away while others looked at me with confusion and concern. I started clawing at my throat as I coughed. Blood bubbled to the surface of my mouth as I collapsed onto my knees, blood spilling from my mouth and splattering all over my clothes and bag.

*COUGH* *vomits blood* *COUGH* *COUGH*

*SCREAM*

"OH MY GOD, SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE. SHE'S PUKING AND COUGHING UP BLOOD!!"

*COUGH* *COUGH*

I couldn't breathe at this point as people were yelling and screaming as I was struggling to breathe. I was suffocating on the blood spilling out of my mouth. I fell over on my side, unable to hold myself up anymore as blood flowed freely from my mouth. I couldn't move my eyes, which seemed stuck open, and I was no longer there.

*Screams*

"OH, dear god, she's dead!"

[In the world of Arcaina]

Bells and alarms were going off as people started screaming in horror, trying to flee.

"RUN TO THE SHELTER THE DEMONS ARE HERE!!!"

Demons are intelligent humanoid beings that are extremely strong. With their abilities and strength, they can take control of non-intelligent monsters, guiding them to ravage and kill innocent people. Although similar to their human counterpart, Demon are known for their bloodthirsty nature. Having been known to attack anyone and anything in sight as they see fit.

*SCREAM'S*

*High-pitched ringing*

Disorientated, I sat up holding the side of my head, blood flowing from the corner of my temple.

"That's...."

*BOOM*

A Wyvern lands on the ground, its weight seemingly shaking the world. Although my whole body is shaking in fear and confusion. I stumble over myself to run away, following the flow of the crowd.

*Screams*

"I don't want to die. I don't want to die."

The woman freaking out about not wanting to die grabbed my arm pulling me down as she runs forward causing me to fall down.

Wyvern is a non-intelligent monster species that looks similar to a dragon but is smaller in size strength and capabilities. Wyverns are simple monster species that are difficult to train but demons use their ability to control monsters to control them. Wyverns are used for travel and scouting by Demons. Humans and other Intelligent humanoid species can train wyverns for the same purposes but cannot control or train adult wild wyverns instantly or easily like demons can. The only advice given in situations where you are confronted with a wild wyvern or a wyvern controlled by demons is to run as far away as you can as quickly as possible.

On the ground, I couldn't help but turn my head, spotting a person, not a demon, on the saddle of the wyvern. This is all so familiar but terrifying. I rushed back up off the ground, this time running off to the side, no longer running in the same direction as everyone else but far away from the wyvern and the demon.

Blue skin as dark as the sky on a stormy day. Horns of white, eyes of silver and blood. The demon slid off of the back of the wyvern gliding along its wing when their feet touched the ground. Seeing the easy prey before themself they could no longer resist the temptation to destroy such easy targets and cast magic that caused a burst of flames going forth. The flames were different although they burned, they would slowly engulf the target making them freeze solid into a sculpture of stone.

This scene this scene is the exact same. This is what happens at the beginning of the sequel of my favorite book series.
