Mona’s New Friend

"Wow…"

Nana had her mouth parted slightly as she looked at the beautiful flora and fauna.

The girl with dark aurora green hair that was leading her had a proud smile on his face as she said, "It's beautiful, isn't it?"

Nana only nodded speechlessly, still engrossed by the beautiful view in her sight.

"But where are you from? I was surprised when I suddenly sensed a presence appearing in my territory…" 

The girl said in a curious voice, catching Nana's attention.

Nana suddenly remembered Zen and Sera's faces as they repeatedly told her to tell that she was an otherworlder if ever asked by a native.

"Ummm… I'm an otherworlder." She told the young girl in front of her.

"What!?"

The girl's eyes widened with shock as she stopped walking.

"Mona, y-you're an otherworlder…?"

Not sure why she was reacting like this, Nana nervously nodded her head.

However, the girl suddenly smiled as her eyes sparkled with curiosity.

She also suddenly grabbed Nana's hand excitedly, "C-Can you please tell me about the Otherworld!?!?!"

Seeing her stuttering because of excitement, Nana smiled, "Sure…"

'Oh!!! There it is again!!!!'

This time, it was Nana's turn to be excited as she saw the girl's ears again.

The reason why she followed the girl with dark aurora green hair was because of a certain characteristic that she noticed about her.

It was the fact that along with her beautiful face and shiny dark aurora green hair, her ears were pointed.

This unfamiliar sight caused her to make some slightly irrational decision…

…which involved going with a stranger she knew nothing about.

Realizing this, Nana's excitement disappeared.

'Oh… and also… Where am I?'

She thought as she looked around, not minding the girl in front of her.

'Brother Zen and Sister Sera must be worried about me right now…' Nana became worried as she remembered the two.

After all, they had repeatedly told her to stay put and wait for them.

'Are they going to be angry…?'

She thought worriedly.

"Hey Mona, can you hear me???"

The girl with dark aurora green hair called out to Nana, snapping her out of her thoughts.

This time, Nana bravely asked, "Ummm, I still don't know your name yet…"

Hearing her, the girl covered her mouth with her hand, "Oh! My bad, I was too excited…"

Worried that she might scare Nana, the girl coughed and said, "I'm Eleonore! And as you can see, I'm an elf."

"An elf…" Nana's eyes sparkled with both curiosity and excitement.

The girl, Eleonore, shyly brushed her dark aurora green hair using her hand, "W-Will you still come with me?"

Her question made Nana quite conflicted.

She was torn between returning to where she spawned and going with her new friend.

'Well…'

Although she was worried that Zen and Sera might get angry, Nana made up her mind.

'I can just apologize to them later, hehe.'

She then looked at Eleonore, "Sure, let's go!!"

Clap!

Clapping in excitement, Eleonore said, "Great! Let me tour you in my home!"

"Your home? Do you mean…"

"Yes! This forest is my home! Though it's more like our garden or backyard if I were to describe it using human terms…"

Eleonore had an enthusiastic expression on her face as she spoke.

The two of them continued walking in the beautiful forest as they spoke.
