1 Chapter 1-A Start Over With A Touch Of Fortune

In a dark room sat a lean almost to skinny of a body staring at a computer screen. By the state of the apartment it could be deduced that the man hadn't left for a couple weeks now.

'Reality is to constraining, that's why I enjoy fantasy where there are no limits. I'm not particularly smart, but I've always had a strange perception of things even with little information, like how I understand that everything is mathematical even though it's just a theory, because of this I've learned to rely on it. I also don't particularly like other people, but I can still stand them to a certain extent.'

Tian Mo's head fell onto his desk making the keyboard type in a bunch of random letters into the search engine.

An azure intangible entity came out of Tian Mo's body and hovered around before going through space-time into another universe. His soul taking the form of a small infant in the wilderness. After a day of crying Tian Mo was finally picked up by an old man with a long white beard carrying him back to the city known as Glory city.

Ye Mo was talking to his son Ye Zong. "I found this child in the wilderness, from now on you are to take care of him." "Yes father I will do my best to raise this child."

A child looking around seven had came over to a women that was nursing two young babies one of the babies had purple hair while the other one had mostly black hair, at the tips of his hair it was a strange lime green color. Ye Zong had walked in. "Ye Han while my wife is breastfeeding you are not supposed to be in here, leave now." Leaving Ye Han showed a mysterious glint in his eyes.

Three years passed and Tian Mo was named Ye Song. Him being raised in the Ye family caused a lot of stir, giving Ye Zong a lot of pressure from the family. Ye Song was three years old and was finally able to bring in his previous life's knowledge.

'It appears that I was so hell bent to finish reading my favorite manga that I forgot to eat and died of malnutrition. Hm, that's one way for someone like me to go out.'

Ye Song was shown to have an azure color soul realm which was unprecedented to have ever happen in Glory city's history. When Ye Song looked into the crystal he had seen a circle of black with a white shine around it, making it look like a black hole. Ye Song had assumed this was his sea soul attribute, but didn't understand what it was and could only hope that this timeline had the reincarnated Nie Li to tell him what kind of cultivation technique and demon beast he was most compatible with.

Ye Song was in the Ye family library reading up on the records of items in the family vault. While reading he noticed something interesting named a soul realm mirror which baffled him due to the fact that if it had to do with the soul Nie Li would have used it or at least have taken it to study, but he never did. This caused Ye Song's curiosity to spike. He already had figured out how to get into the family vault, so he decided to go inside and find this item.

Sneaking into the vault he found the item really fast, because everything was ordered as long as it's name was known. Touching the glass of the mirror he saw all the memories of Meng Hao's life, the one who created the mirror had made it possible to peer into the realm of souls at midnight due to the moon acting as a pool of souls, and a gateway due to the time.

After using the mirror for many days, Ye Song had found Nie Li's memories which indicated that this was the timeline that he was reborn in. Using that knowledge Ye Song had learned what cultivation technique was most fitting for him, that was the void God arts. The most suitable demon beast is a lacuna Condor.

Shaking could be felt throughout the whole Ye manor. It was caused by Ye Zong's cultivation going out of control at the sight of his wife's dead body.

Ye Song figured out what happened based off his knowledge that Ye Zi Yun's mother would be poisoned during her early childhood and that only something like this occurrence could cause Ye Zong to lose his cool.

Running to the store room he found the herbs needed to repel the draconic tongue herb until he could use the daoyin technique. No one stopped him from stealing from the store room, not because he's Ye Zong's adopted son, but because everyone else was to focused on the events occurring in the mansion.

'Ever since I started using the void God arts my soul force went from one to forty nine at only the age of three.'

'Ye Zong will have at least two guards standing at the door to guard Ye Zi Yun's mother. During that time I will have to poison there drinks that have been humbly given to them by me, so that there will be a window of time to cure the illness, and I'll leave a note in Meng Hao's handwriting explaining the situation making it seem like he's a friend giving a favor.'

Making his way back to the store room there was the person who organized the items and protected them. This man's name was Dong Cai who was a loyal servant and warrior to the Ye family.

It wasn't odd for Ye Song to come into the store room as he would overview the items trying to identify and understand them.

Ye Song sneakily put a dry tea mason leaf into his pocket along with multiple soul assembling pills that were of the highest grade that could be currently found in Glory city. Dong Cai had noticed that Ye Song had taken the dry tea mason leaf, but hadn't seen him take the pills which did not go according to plan. As Ye Song was about to leave Dong Cai had grabbed him by the wrist to stop him. "If you give back what you took right now I'll act like it never happened." Ye Song heard the stern in his voice causing a cold sweat run down his back, but he already planned for this. Breaking away from Dong Cai's grip Ye Song had thrown his hand around which smashed vases. He new that the best way to steal is by misdirecting the owner with something else that the thief doesn't want and because Ye Song is extra cautious he planned to make a mess with a childish tantrum.

'It worked.'

During Dong Cai's shock and confusion Ye Song had ran out. He didn't give Chase, because he was afraid of the punishment he might get if the place was in shambles.

Enacting his plan Ye Song gave the two guards the poisoned tea. This teas name was given, because it was so strong that even a stonemason who would have a giant build giving them a higher resistance could go unconscious from a single drop. Meaning that two men in the gold rank with a full cup of tea made from a whole leaf will definitely cause them to pass out.

Going inside Ye Song gave Ye Zi Yun's mother the herbs and used the daoyin technique to remove the draconic tongue herb. A rush of soul energy courses through the women as a sign of her being cured. Leaving the note he had prepared he went back to his room to find that Ye Xiu was waiting for him.

In a loud trembling voice Ye Xiu spoke. "Do you realize the mess you've made and at such a critical time. Now hand over the dry tea mason leaf that you stole."

"I swear that I don't have it."

Ye Xiu could tell that he wasn't lying, but figured that it meant he had hidden it somewhere. "Fine if you don't want to admit to your mistakes then your punishment will be you being confined to your room for ten days."

Giving a disappointed expression Ye Song walked into his room. 'I bet that Ye Han was the one that poisoned Ye Zi Yun's mother since he will poison Ye Zong. Shen Hong is a cockroach so he should know it's easier to control people if they start at a young age. I'll have to find a way to get rid of him before he becomes a true problem. Now with the soul assembling pills and the void god technique my cultivation should rise faster than the cultivators in the genius institute. The great thing about this technique is that I can cultivate all I want, because it gives me the ability to hide my cultivation. Except for people that are at the demigod level while I'm at such a low level.'

Absorbing the full effects of the soul assembling pills allowed Ye Song to breakthrough into the second star of silver rank and he only used eight of the fourteen pills.

Coming out of his room Ye Song new that he would have to see Ye Zong for his reprimanding. Walking into his office Ye Song waited for his foster father to finish his work. "Based off my evidence you had taken the dry mason tea leaf to help this expert named Meng Hao, because of the service he's done and nobody actually got hurt you won't be punished any further. Leave my office as I have to work."

*Sigh*

Relief was obviously shown on Ye Song's face. 'I got lucky this time, but in the future I should be more careful.' After obtaining some training weights and purple haze grass to train his body. In the past few days of using the mirror Ye Song mostly gained memories of fierce battles and an advanced understanding of forging. Cultivating till midnight and using the mirror Ye Song decided to go to sleep.

'If I'm to get rid of Ye Han it will have to be before he starts cultivating which will only be in another three years at most. So I'm gonna have to poison something of his. It may hurt my conscience to kill a kid, but knowing the things he's done and is going to do definitely makes it easier.'

After investigating the situation of Ye Zi Yun's mother getting poisoned Ye Zong found out that Shen Hong was responsible. Due to this he gave them a lot of pressure causing many rumors to spread.

'Three years! Three years to get to gold rank to concoct a poison to kill Ye Han.'
