An hour after Noir left, dinner was ready and everyone came running to the kitchen. Aunt May, Grace, MJ, Lily, America, Leo, Peter, and Gwen all sat around the table. The Ancient One hasn't returned from Kamar-Taj, so they would have to save her some leftovers.

As the dinner table filled with the sound of laughter and the clinking of utensils, the lively atmosphere shifted when Lily's innocent curiosity took center stage.

"Gwen, how did you get your powers?" Lily asked curiously, her eyes wide with excitement. "Dad got bit by a spider, so did you get bit too?"

Gwen smiled, "Yeah, I think most of us get our powers that way..." She said, going into detail about her early days as a superhero, though she omitted the darker aspects, ensuring the stories were suitable for the ears of the children at the table. "Do you have powers too?" She asked Lily, knowing that Peter was her biological father.

Instantly, Lily's enthusiasm peaked, and she abruptly stood up, triggering her Spider-Girl suit to materialize. "I'm Spider-Girl! Mom and I go patrolling in the weekends." she proudly declared. "But I wasn't bit by a spider. Dad made me so that I would have his powers."

Beside her, MJ smoothly transitioned into her Silk suit. "I'm Silk. And I wasn't bitten either. Peter found a way to give me his powers too," she explained, her suit disappearing just as fast as it appeared.

Leo and America watched, their eyes filled with a mix of awe and envy. However, Leo, too young to comprehend the superhero craze, seemed more interested in his plate of food, engaging in a silent battle with a piece of broccoli.

Amused by the kids' reactions, Peter intervened, "Lily, you can impress Gwen later. Finish your dinner first." He chuckled, noting Leo's fierce focus on the less tasty portions of his plate.

Meanwhile, MJ, noticing America's sudden change in demeanor, spoke. "Your time will come, America. But for now, focus on your training at Kamar-Taj. Defense and attack skills first, then we can talk about your superhero debut."

Disappointed but determined, America nodded, understanding the importance of honing her skills before donning a superhero suit. Leo, oblivious to the entire conversation, continued his broccoli duel, seemingly indifferent to everything around him.

After the lively dinner, Peter found solace in the living room, sinking into the comfort of his favorite spot on the couch.

Gwen joined him, her eyes subtly reflecting the urgency that lingered within her. "So, what's this threat that's coming for the Spider Society?"

Peter absentmindedly flipped through TV channels, searching for something entertaining. Ignoring Gwen's attempts to engage in conversation, he seemed more focused on enjoying a good show or movie.

As channels changed, Peter stumbled upon a news broadcast that abruptly caught his attention. The screen displayed a silver streak, reminiscent of a shooting star, captured by observatories around the world.

Astronomers, visibly shaken, appeared on the news, expressing concerns about the unusual celestial event. One, in particular, stood out, a man who looked haunted as he shared his observations with the world.

"The color is all wrong, and it's heading straight for Earth," the astronomer explained nervously, the fear evident in his voice.

The news anchor, puzzled, questioned the severity of the situation, assuming it was just another celestial object. "That's fine though, right? Won't it just burn up in the atmosphere?"

"Yes, asteroids like this tend to burn out in the atmosphere, but it's the color that's unsettling. And when I looked through my telescope, I saw something else. It didn't look like a rock… it looked oddly human shaped..," the astronomer revealed, sending a shiver down the news anchors spine.

Turning to Peter, Gwen spoke. "Seems like you might have some trouble on the way."

Peter, sighing in annoyance as he was just getting comfortable, begrudgingly rose to his feet. "Let's go find out, shall we?"

As they headed towards the door, Gwen couldn't help but express her concern. "Peter, if it's a threat, we might need backup. Shouldn't we contact the Avengers or someone else?"

Peter, clearly not worried in the slightest, shook his head. "Nah, we'll be fine. Gathering more people would be a waste of time. And I'm just hoping that this is all a misunderstanding so that I can come back here and relax on the couch for the rest of the night…"

"Has anyone ever told you that you're lazy couch potato?" Gwen asked, finally realizing Peter's true nature. Deep below the hero that can do it all was a man who just wanted to spend his life on the couch, watching TV and playing on his phone.

"Yeah, MJ beat you to it already…"

Donning their suits, Peter effortlessly opened a portal, and Gwen, without a second thought, followed him through. However, her sense of regret kicked in immediately as she found herself stepping onto the moon. Panic surged through her, realizing there was no air, but to her surprise, she continued to breathe as if by some unseen force.

Turning to Peter, she questioned with wide eyes, "How is this possible?"

Peter, ever nonchalant, simply shrugged. "Magic," he replied, a response that annoyed Gwen, yet she couldn't deny the surreal experience.

Just as Gwen was about to voice her complaints, as a warning would have been nice, Peter pointed in a certain direction and said, "Look, it's right over there."

In the distance, a silver metallic figure on a surfboard became visible. The surfboard seemed crafted from the same silvery substance as the person riding it.

Gwen raised a surprised eyebrow, exclaiming, "What the hell is that?"

Peter, however, seemed to recognize the cosmic entity. "The Silver Surfer. Though I didn't expect to see him here." A thought suddenly crossed his mind. 'Does this mean that Galactus, the cosmic devourer, was also in this universe? And if so, then how haven't I at least heard of him yet?'

Compared to beings like Thanos, Galactus was just on a whole other level. Even the Silver Surfer could probably beat Thanos as if he were a child, and he's only Galactus's henchman.

Of course, as Peter didn't read many comics, his knowledge of the silver surfer and Galactus was fairly limited, but he knew enough.

The Surfer serves Galactus, a cosmic being that consumes the life energy found in planets for sustenance. Using his abilities to travel the universe and find energy-rich worlds, he would offer up these planets to Galactus in order to quench his master's hunger.

From what Peter's seen, the surfer can either be portrayed as a hero, who does what he can to protect inhabited planets by only offering empty planets to Galactus, or he can be an emotionless Harold, who could care less about saving lives and works only to fill his masters belly.

'Which one is this?' Peter wondered as the surfer seemed to notice his and Gwen's stare. "Yo!" He waved the cosmic Harold over, seemingly unafraid.

"What are you doing?!" Gwen shouted as she quickly grabbed his and picked it down to his side. "Don't just call that thing over here! We don't even know what it is yet!"

"So we should just let it fly over to Earth?" Peter asked sarcastically as he patted Gwen on the shoulder. "Relax, you'll be fine. And if things get too dangerous, I'll portal you back to my house, okay?" He said, trying placating her worries.

"What do you mean relax?!" Gwen grumbled as she noticed the surfer jerk its head in their direction, staring right at them. "!?"

As the cosmic entity stared back at them, a subtle shift occurred within him, a faint recognition of a familiar energy signature. It was a tiny sliver reminiscent of Infinity stones power, which seemed to be coming from Peter, a discovery that piqued the Surfer's interest.

After all, wherever the infinity stones are, Thanos won't be too far behind. Not to mention the fact that his master needs the stones…

Diverting his course, the Silver Surfer streaked towards Peter and Gwen, effortlessly landing before them. His silver surfboard melted back into his metallic form, leaving an enigmatic presence in its wake. The Surfer's expression remained emotionless, an unreadable mask that caused a slight frown to form on Peter's face.

"Hey there. What brings you to my small planet?" Peter greeted, attempting to break the silence that lingered between them.

The Silver Surfer, devoid of any verbal preamble, gazed at Peter with an intensity that seemed to pierce through the fabric of reality.

Gwen instinctively took a step backward, her senses tingling with the overwhelming power radiating from the Silver Surfer. "M-Maybe he doesn't speak English?" She stuttered, taking cover behind Peter's back.

The weight of the surfers presence pressed upon her, and she couldn't shake the feeling of vulnerability. However, Peter stood his ground without a care in the world, seemingly unaffected by the cosmic entity's aura.

Seeing how nonchalant Peter seemed to be while in such a powerful beings presence, Gwen began to realized just how much she didn't know about Peter. 'I knew he was powerful, but just how strong is he?' She couldn't help but wonder if Peter was actually holding back or hiding his strength when they first met.

Instead of answering, the surfer posed a direct question, his distorted voice cutting through the lunar silence, "Where is the Mad Titan?" He asked, his expression remained stoic, his gaze unwavering. The cosmic silence lingered for a moment before he continued, his gaze piercing into Peter, "I sense the energy of the infinity stones from you. Where are they and where is Thanos?"
