Once an outstanding medical student, Du Xiao Tong was accused of medical malpractice that took the life of Chen Li Wei's mother. Chen Li Wei was Xiao Tong's first love. Out of guilt, she broke up with Li Wei and left China to pursue another career path. She did not want to go back to medicine.
