3 Chapter 3

I wake up at my normal time got dressed and went out for my everyday workout but as I was about to leave my room qrow was in front of my door

"oh I see your up, good" he said as he turned around and began to walk but stopped as he looked at me "well ain't you come"

"right" as I ran up to him 'finally I can get some really training' I thought as we ended up out side

"okay I've been gone for a long time so let's see how much you've improved" he said as he took a fighting stance

"ummm uncle qrow I don't have a weapon" I said as I scratched the back of my head

"hmm didn't Tai teach you hand to hand"

"he tried but... We gave up after the first week"

"huh really looks like me and you are on the same boat" he said as he unfolded his weapon as it turned into a giant scythe "use that, I know it's on the heavy side but I think you'll manage" he said as he gave me the scythe and hold it wasn't that hard but it had a little weight to it 'it's not as heavy as I thought it would be but then again this is RWBY'

"know it may take you a little time before you get to use to it so" he said but

"I don't think I will" I said as he looked at me as his eyes popped out of his head as I span the scythe and move it around me in slashing motions as I ended by stabbing it in the ground and looked at uncle qrow as he quickly went back to normal and sighed

"huh whatever come at me" he said as he took out his flusk and drank but as he was about to drink I flash stepped in front of him as I brought the scythe to an upward slash but uncle qrow simply side stepped as he continued drinking

"your speed is good but your form could use some work" he said as he kicked me in the gut as I was sent flying 'damn it that hurt more than it should have' I thought as I checked as my aura was shattered 'he was also able to side step my strike like it was nothing meaning he's way faster than me and he was able to break my aura with a simple kick meaning his way stronger to and on top of that he is an experienced hunter' I thought as I got up not taking my eyes off qrow as I narrowed my eyes

"your anger good use that but don't let it control you" he said as I took a running stance holding the scythe with one hand in a reverse grip

"oh whats this getting serious huh" he said as I flash stepped behind him with the scythes blade behind me swinging the blade with both my hands aiming for his head but again he ducked as he went to swipe my feet as I felt one of my feet got swiped I quickly flash stepped away from him 'damn it, does he even have any blind spots'

"huh that was a little bit too blood thirsty don't you think" he said as he rubbed his neck

"no and I knew you would survive" 'no I did not but you don't need to know that' I said as I flashed in front of him and began to rapidly slash at him but he dodged as he was about to kick me I ducked as his leg went passed my head 'knows my chance' I thought as I brought the scythe from behind me and slashed upwords as I boosted the speed with my semblance 'I got up kno-' my thoughts were cut off by a sharp pain to the side of my face as I was once again sent flying as I hit a tree 'damn it that hurts a lot' I thought as I held the side of my face for the pain and my back was also on the same boat if not worse but soon got up

"huh looks like I went a little to far oh well your aura will heal you" he said as I slowly walk toward him as I began to rapidly use my flash and a clone of me was created

"oh so you are also able to make after images with your speed color me impressed" he said as I dash with my clone I as the first on got chose it slashed and qrow dodged and went to punch it but as be did it faded away

"wrong one" I said as I appeared at his side and side slashed him and as the blade got closer to him he did something that was total bullshit as he somehow righted himself and grabbed the handle of the scythe and used the momentum from my swing to yeet me in to a tree as I hit the tree it shattered on impact but that didn't stop me as I was still in motion as I hit like three trees before stopping as I land on the ground bleeding as some of my bones were cracked and blood was coming out of my everywhere 'I can't move and my body is in so much pain that breath is extremely painful'

"huh you control over your speed is amazing and your aura control isn't half bad but you still have a lot to learn" he said as he walked over to me and kneeled down

"looks like we can begin the second phases of training and that is survival" 'what does he mean I can barely speak let alone move'

"yes I know but the survival training that you will be doing is surviving the whole day with those injuries and healing yourself with your aura" he said as he got up took his scythe and began to walk away as I spat of some blood trying to speak 'shit how does he even expect me to do this and the night that means he's going to leave me here for the next 24 hours but that's not important right now I need to stop the bleeding so I need so slow my heart beat down' I thought as I started breathing slower as my heart slowly slowed down and it took half an hour to do that an the pain was not helping

'right now it time to get to heal and thanks to my control I will be able to focus on healing which I will start with my organs but they were the least damage then my muscles and bones were the most but healing them is not that hard as they heal naturally but my organs will be a problem and from what I can feel they would take most if not all my aura and from the rate they are healing it will take to long as 24 hours is what I was given' I said a I concentrated my aura on healing my organs and my aura was draining away rapidly 'damn I can't go on like this at this rate I will have no aura..... Wait what if I meditate it should restore my aura quick and keep calm' I said as I relaxed my body and opened my mind as I began to meditate but the pain was also making it a lot harder '24 hours that's how long I have to heal and make sure I don't die'

(qrow POV)

I've been watching ruby for the past 7 hours and I've got to say that I'm more than impressed as she was supposed to fail this test as the point was to get her to really know the dangers of the life she want as living as a hunter is not all sunshine and rainbows its a hard life filled with sadness and pain but I was never worried about that as ruby was a very happy and caring child like her mother so I was only planning on teaching her how to protect her self as the only thing she wanted was to help people but never put in the effort in training and while she had a lot of potential she was also still a kid but know after hearing about the training she has been doing and that what her dream is I had no choice but to increase her training to an high level compared to the training I got as a teenager but this is for her own good for her to reach her dream she would face many dangers and adding to the that she has silver eyes well that just made things more difficult for her and I'll be damned if I allow her to die later because someone beat her

"the kids doing well to be able to have that much control over her aura and the fact that she is also keeping her emotions calm looks like she a genius like her mother was" I said in my bird form as I watched ruby 'her speed is impressive for someone her age and her mastery of her semblance puts her in a league of her own and her stamina is also impressive to but her form is sloppy but that's to be expected we'll also have to work on her body strength "huh life is going to suck for you kid but I swear I will make you the strongest out there"
