8 Chapter 6: The Adventurer's guild
Main gates of "Ares"

After 8 days traveling by a carriage...
Emyrs and Alice was sitting on a carriage side to side, slowly driving toward the main gates of "Ares".
Gate guard: Please show your identification card or get a temporary identification card and pay a fee of 6 copper coin.
Emyrs: 2 temporary enters. (Gave 12 copper coin)
Gate guard:(grabed the coins and took out a fist size crystal ball) Touch this for identification.
Emyrs and Alice touched the ball. The ball shines brightly, before dimming down again. A status screen could be seen.

Gate guard:(gave a reminder) You can go to the adventure's guild or the mayor's building to create a identification card but remember, if you don't sign out or get an identification card within the next 3 days we will have the authority to mark you guys as as criminals. (Moves his spear away with an indication to go in.)(shouts) Next!
Their carriage slowly move inside "Ares". In "Ares" one would be able to see a bustling crowd with all kinds of people from different races (except demons). Some yelling. Some shouting. Some begging. You would be able to see all kinds of store stuffing the streets and people bargaining infront of the stores. It was truly truly lively. The majority of these people are made up of young man and women around the age of 25 wearing light armor with all kinds of weapons like a spear, sword, halberd, shield or magic "sticks". They, clearly seen as adventures, made up of mostly humans and beastmen. Ocasionally, one would see young men and women with sharp and pointy ears with a wooden bow behind their back, they are of course the Elves.
Emyrs and Alice arrived at the "adventure's guild". After parking their carriage beside the "adveture's guild", they proceeded to walk in.
Opening the door of the "adventure's guild", one would see men and women from all ages, majority mid-thirties, sitting down, drinking beer and having a chat. In this lively area, laughter and yells are a common occurrence.
"Have you heard the news about the mass crater that appeared suddenly and destroyed the village of kin?"
"Yeah, I heard that the Roukar kingdom sent out 10,000 soldiers to inspect the crater"
"I heard that too, rumors has it that it was created by the angered gods." (Nope, just a god that didn't know how to control his power)
"No, the rumors said it was created by a meteor..."
Ignoring those conversation. Emyrs, who was pulling Alice's hand, walked towards the reception area. A gorgeous looking women with a long raven black hair in her early twenties greets them.
Ana(receptionist): (politely) I am Ana, the receptionist of this "adventure's guild". How may I help you?
Emyrs: We would like to sign up to be an adventurer. (Same as having an identification card)
Ana:(eying on Alice, politely) I'm sorry, but the minimum age to sign up as an adventurer is 13.
Emyrs:(noticing the gaze) She is 15.
Ana:(shocked) huh?
Emyrs: (replied firmly) She is 15 years old.
Ana: (inspected Alice's 140cm short figure) But-
Emyrs: You could check it if you don't trust me.
Ana pulled out a bowling sized deep sea blue crystal ball.
Ana: (back to being polite) If that's the case, please touch the "ball of identification" to confirm your identity.
Emyrs nodded at Alice, signaling her to advance. Alice walked up and placed her delicate hands on the crystal ball. A status screen appears

Ana:(clearly confused) Did something went wrong with the "ball of identification"? (Fiddles with the crystal ball) I would like to apologize, it seems like there's a problematic issue with this "ball of identification". (The issue is right infront of you! XD) It would take sometime to replace it; thus I would appreciate if you were to fill up a form for your adventurer's card instead.
Emyrs:(clearly knowing that he's the issue) That would be fine too.
