5 Chapter 4: Emyrs' new sister, Alice

Bandit hideout

Emyrs peeked his head into the cave like bandit hideout that has a shallow stream flowing through the middle of the cave and a wooden barricade sounding the entrance. There were obviously more bandits left and there are 6 of them in this cave, but they are only lvl 7 and one lvl 6.

Emyrs: Ill have to clean them out before taking their treasures. Do I lack treasures?(asked himself) No, of course I dont. The only reason is because it is fun plundering treasures. Its a type of amusement that I dont get to do when I was back at earth. (Getting annoyed while thinking about earth) Stupid earth and its stupid laws. I lost everything because those stupid laws that are meant to protect us but fail to do their job! (Building up rage)(Shakes his head) The past has now been the past, only by let go off the past will one succeed in the future.

Voice A: Did you hear someone shouting? Or am I hallucinating?

Voice B: No, I heard that too. Lets check it out to be sure. It is probably an unlucky lost passer-by or else why would they be shouting?

Voice A: True, that make sense.

Emyrs: Opps... Got to make it quick.

Emyrs takes out [eternal darkness] and walks step by step on the shallow crystal-clear water into the cave. The rushing bandits are all in shocked as they could suddenly feel that their lives are hanging by a thread and in fear none of them could move their trembling legs and ocean like wet pants.

This is one of Emyrs aura skill, [(SSR) intimidation), a skill that makes a weaker opponent than you felt weak and fear, the greater the difference the more fear the opponent felt.

Seconds passed, Emyrs has finally arrived at the closest bandit. He swings a full arc with his [eternal darkness] leaving behind a perfect silver arc that made it look like a crescent moon. The bandit was split in half and leaving behind a small puddle of blood. The death of their companion made the other bandits wet their pants even more. From a puddle of liquid to a river of brown liquid, clearly not just urine anymore.

Emyrs then moved on to his next target. Killing them one by one... huh? There should be 6 of them. The lvl 7 has all been eradicated by Emyrs all there is left is the weakest lvl 6 bandit.

Emyrs: You can run but you cant hide.

Emyrs walks towards the only basement of the bandit hideout and slice the door in half, reveal the content inside. A small cute fox girl, about 15 years old, with long silky golden hair and cotton fluffy long ears sitting with on a soft wool made mat, completely hands free(not bound to ropes)

At this sudden, cute and innocent little girl all He could do was stare...

Stare...

Emyrs: (covering his eyes) Ah! I give up! I give up! Don't give me those innocent eyes anymore! I can't handle it! (Having deep and hard breaths) Alright! Let's get you out of here first, then we will decide.

Emyrs the grabbed her thin and fragile looking hands and used [teleportation] to arrive back at the highest floor of the "hero's tower(magic tower)". Emyrs let go of her hand and their eyes locked on each other again and...

Stare...

Emyrs: Ah!!! Oh god, please help me! Why? Why do such innocent eyes exist?! (took a deep breath) Alright, first I need to check on her status.

Alice:(mumbling) I-It's A-Alice... what... is... Greek...?

Emyrs:(smiled awkwardly) Ah, Greek language does not exist here.

Alice:(still mumbling) Y-Your sp-speak Greek?

Emyrs: I don't but my father does, a bit, but he died long ago though... (Emyrs starts to lament at this point)

Alice: I-I'mm sry...

Emyrs: (gives a heart warming smile) It's alright. So...

They chated and chated, without realizing, they had started to open up to each other and formed a close bond...

Suddenly, Emyrs thought of an idea.

Emyrs:Hey Alice, do you want me to bring you back to the "beast kingdom"? I mean, it is much safer there than being in this continent; after all, discrimination of other races is a common occurrence no matter where they are...(looks into the far distance, probably thinking about "Earth")

Alice: (eyes sparkling like pure diamond) Can I really return?

Emyrs:(tried to dig out his eyes)(sighs and returns to a loving smile) I could instantly teleport to anywhere I want, thus traveling won't be a problem.

Alice: Then-(suddenly realizes something, her ears falls down like a sluggish slime) but there's no one left... E-everyone is dead...T-they sacrifice their l-lives to save m-me... (with glassy eyes, looks at Emyrs)

Emyrs: (scratches his head) Then you can come with me, I'll protect you just like your how everyone did.

Alice: (her ears straighten up like a spear, and looks at Emyrs emotionally) R-really?

Emyrs: (nodded truthfully) Really!

Alice: (Ran up to Emyrs and give him a thighs hug) Thank you, brother!

Emyrs: (hugs back) Sur- huh? Brother? Did you just call me brother?

Alice: Yeah!

Emyrs: (wry smile) I guess I'll be having you as my little sister from now on...
