Chapter 43

As it turned out, the whole school was in mourning that day. As it turned out, in addition to Harry, Flash and Jacob had died. But according to the police, they were victims of a "maniac". However, they say that last night this maniac killed four more guys.

So we were instructed for an hour not to be out late and all that. All the students were frightened, but the emotion on Gwen's face was different, because she must have assumed that Venom had done it.

When I looked up, I saw two people I didn't recognize flying out of one of the buildings. One of them was clad in iron armor with a green robe, and the other was completely covered in flames.

The pair flew towards the northwest, and I was about to head after them when another person ran out of the building in the next instant.

It was some kind of stone monster, a guy with long arms and a beautiful blonde girl.

- Where did they go? - The stone monster jumped up to me, not even thinking that his appearance might scare people.

- Over there! - I just pointed with my hand.

Hearing the answer, the girl surrounded herself and the guys with a transparent barrier, and then rose into the air and also flew to the northwest.

- Not a day without an adventure. - A chuckle escaped my mouth.

When I entered the blind spot, I put on my suit and flew after them to make it clear that it was not appropriate to cause mayhem in the city.

When I arrived, I witnessed the man in the green robe beating the others like puppies. I did not interfere at once, because I needed to get information about them to understand who was an enemy and who was not.

And soon I found out the names and characteristics of each man who took part in the fight.

Victor Von Doom, that was the name of the man in the iron armor and green cloak. According to my first observations, his power was telekinesis, and he could shoot concentrated blobs of energy that did a lot of damage. And apparently, he was the "villain."

The second man's name was Reed Richards. His ability was elasticity. So he could stretch his body any way he wanted.

The third was a fire guy named Johnny Storm. He manipulated fire.

The fourth was a stone monster named Benjamin Grimm. Other than defense and immense physical strength, he couldn't boast of anything.

And finally the fifth was a girl named Sue Storm. She possessed the ability to create barriers with which she could fly and defend herself. And she also had the ability to become invisible.

By the end of my observations, the four "heroes" had lost the game. That's why Victor was about to leave the place, realizing that if he stayed any longer, the tougher guys would come after him. But I wasn't about to let him go.

- Well, well, well, where are we going? You think you've wreaked havoc in the city and now you can just walk away? - I cut him off in mid-air.

- Who the hell are you? Get out of my way if you value your life. - He began to store energy in his hand.

- Haa, that's a mouthful. Don't regret it. - A grin appeared on my face, though I couldn't see it behind the mask, and then I quickly flew up to him and spun a web.

The next moment I hit Victor with such force that a shockwave spread in the air. But it didn't work on him, because he must have strengthened his body with telekinesis.

- Hmm, you're stronger than you look, Victor. - I complimented him.

- You're stronger than you look, too. - He reacted calmly, and then flew away at high speed.

I did not interfere with him or catch up with him. I clearly understood the level of my abilities and that I would not be able to damage him. Especially from his behavior it was clear that he was not ready or willing to engage in a conflict....

- Why did you let him go?! - Reed Richards came at me at that moment.

- Let him go? Didn't you see I couldn't do any damage? And watch your tone, you condom man, before I rip you.

At my words, Benjamin and Johnny almost burst out laughing, and Sue blushed at my lewd words.

- What the hell do you think you're doing? - Reed hit me, or rather tried to. Because easily dodging his blow, I hit him sharply and hard in the chest, from which he flew backwards like a bullet and hit the rock. Although, judging by how quickly he got to his feet, he didn't take any damage.

- AH YOU! - Reed shouted angrily and ran at me again.

- Hmm, trash that doesn't know his place. - I began to concentrate the energy in the reactor on his chest, being sure that he would not survive it.

- Come on, calm down, Reed! - Sue shouted, and put him in a barrier. Apparently realizing that I'm not to be messed with.

- Uh, I don't know who you are, but thanks for your help. - she turned to me, still holding the rubber band in place.

- It's my job to eliminate threats. Your friend Victor was lucky this time, because I didn't know about his abilities. But don't worry, he won't get away with it next time. Oh, yeah, and I'd advise you not to cross me if you want to live.
