9 Promise To A Friend

I think recently I have been indulging in fight very much. Maybe it's time for me to take a rest. Oh I totally forgot about Elena maybe I should first ask about how she's doing. Wait I think someone is following me. Is it a spy? After why I saw in the memories of [Twin Gods] I don't know what happened but I can't remember what I did afterwards. Maybe they have come to erase my memories and kill me.

"Who's there if you don't show up I will have to become violent." They can attack me anytime, I have to be prepared.

"It's me you idiot! Elena your childhood friend, the one you have forgotten about. And what's with that phrase that you will get violent? Are you going to hit me?" (Elena walks towards Adel amd stand in front of him. She looked as if she has been freed from a big burden.)

"Um Elena why are you following me? Do you have something to ask me? If not I will be going." Why is she here? Did I do something wrong again? Or is my identity revealed?

"Haah! Who is following you? I was just going towards that direction but thought to visit you. If you don't want me to follow you then I will not follow you." (Elena pouts to Adel for accusation of a stalker on her and then smiles at him.)

"Ah! Ok then lets go together. I was just going back to home." How many years has it been since I last saw her smiling and behaving like a kid. I almost forgot that we used to be together all the times when we were kids.

"Adel you know I always waited for you that when you would free me from that hectic life I was living. I had to always behave like a noble and was forbidden to be with commoners. I couldn't even eat my favourite foods and wear clothes I like. I always hoped that one day you would turn towards me and set me free from that cage. But maybe I didn't deserved freedom since I chose that life.Oh why am I saying these things to you. "

(Elena spoke in a serious way. She was about to cry saying these but somehow she stopped her tears from flowing.)

"Silly girl it's your life not others. You should decide what to choose for yourself. What's the need of anyone if you can free yourself on your own? Well I am sorry I didn't cared about how you felt and didn't notice your pain. But I promise from now on I am going to be there for you everytime."

(Saying this Adel pats her head slightly.)

(Elena blushes, her face turns red and she scold Adel.)

"You idiot what are you doing. I am not a kid that you are patting my head but I guess it's fine since I like it. It's not like I like it but I guess you could say that I forgive you since you have forgiven me. Don't get any other ideas."

"Hahaha I guess you have become the Elena I knew back before these all things started." I wish I could live peacefully like this enjoying company of my friends.

(Adel was enjoying his moments with his precious friend and wished to live peacefully but he didn't knew that his enemies were increasing and planning to eradicate him.)

"So you say that the banned existence has been freed from the prison and that he now has his own intelligence. Moreover you say that he has started gaining his powers back. Interesting let's see what the Gods will do now? Hahahhahahahhaha!"

(A mysterious person speaks to [Twin Gods] and his laughter sounds very menancing.)

"Gia I am home." I hope she is not angry with me or esle I would be in trouble.

"Welcome home. So you finally decided to come home after being out for a whole day. So where were you?" (Adel and Elena could feel her rage from just here smiling face which was really terrifying for Elena.)

"Oh my who is this girl. So you were out for a day flirting with a girl. WHAT A LADYKILLER!"

I can see the killing intent of her guess she really is a part of Goddess. Girls are really scary.

"Hey Adel who is this girl and WHY IS SHE IN YOUR HOUSE?" ( Now Adel could feel the killing intent of both and was left with no words. He said sorry to both and knelt down infront of both the girls.)

What should I do I didn't felt this much pressure even fighting the Hitrapshi and those [Twin Gods]. What should I do? I am in big trouble.

" Hey Gia noona and Elena noona stop bullying my oppa. He need some rest. Behave like a grown up both of you." (Mili comes to rescue Adel of the troubling situation and scolds the two girls.)

Thanks Mili I knew you were a lifesaver. Finally I am free." You girls talk with each other I will go freshen up myself." Nice chance to slip away.

"I am sorry for Earlier I am Gia nice to meet you? So you are Adel's childhood friend Elena. He always use to talk about you. So do you have some feelings for him since you are his childhood sweetheart. C'mon don't be shy. Say it." (Gia looks towards Elena with a grin on her face.)

"It's not like I don't have feelings for him but we are still friends. No I mean it's not like I hate being just friends and I don't have any thoughts of relationship with Adel. But I guess I would be happy if he understand what I feel. What about you?" ( Elena asks her with curiosity)

"I can't fall in love with someone but I don't know why but whenever I am near him I just want to break all the rules and fall for him."

( They keep on talking about each others life and all the different topics and in few minutes they become very friendly with each other. Mili also joins them with their talks and the night passes with their talks.)

Yesterday was pretty tiresome and I guess today would be a pretty busy day since team selection would happen today. You have to show off your abilities to be recruited in a good team. Let's jsut lay low today. In arena I stood out too much but at last thanks to that weird guy I was able to go hide my identity.

"So he is Adel Cronin seems pretty average let me see what have you got Useless Hero."
