3 Inside the Gym

Inside the Gym were any ordinary school gym and the place was filled with other students who already gotten here. It seems I'm one of the fast students, many of them have all kinds of wings but a slight of them haven't.

Now socializing, I'm not very good at it but maybe I can befriend one of them. I analyzed everyone and find someone just a little similar like me, of course, a humanoid with no wings.

But I'm a little bit hesitant because as someone with no wings he or she maybe has a good transportation ability. And someone with that ability can be arrogant and can cause me to explode and punch his or her face.

'Sigh is there someone I can befriend but at the same time can quietly befriend with?'

Then I noticed from a corner of the gymnasium, I see someone with swords on her waist and just chilling at the wall. Maybe just maybe it will work out.

I walk onto the girl or knight girl as I got a closer look now that I'm nearer. The beautiful knight girl has silver hair wearing a black battle clothe and silver breastplate, silver armguard and silver knee guard with long white boots.

She looks like someone badass and strong. When I was in front of her, she still hasn't opened her eyes and looks like she was ignoring me. I then greeted her with a slight smile.

"Good morning! can I be your friend?"

'Wow...that sounds slightly desperate but let's see her reaction'

She didn't even flinch!!, Did my status downgraded and the air is more interesting than me? Okay, let's try to talk to her once more or rather plead her to talk.

As a silent defeat yet not I stopped talking to not annoy her and lay my back at the wall just like hers, now I look like I was accompanying her. I can see she's someone strong with that temperament of hers, maybe I can spar a few with her.

[Actually, we made another way. There are now two ways to climb the rankings. [One] is you have to defeat the person above you and the new way is contribution points. Contribution points are only acquired at the mission halls which is now newly opened for every student of this academy]

[Now!, the higher your contribution points is the higher your ranking, buuut if the person above you defeat you then you will still stay at the current rank you are]

[So with this new rule, there is a possibility that the weak can now grow stronger and defeat the strong but this will also serve motivation to you all top rankers]

The voice ended there but it gave me a lot of motivation once I heard the new way. Which means this year will be full of battles.

The girl beside me opens her eyes. Now that I see it her eyes are the same color as her hair, but boi does her eyes ooze coldness to her surroundings. Hmm, maybe this is her ability? an Ice ability?

Of course with this chance and as the stubborn of a guy I am. I greeted her again with the same smile as before.
