The Buffalo didn't seem to understand when he pierced Alex's image, but he didn't feel any contact.
Alex, who was already on the animal's side, delivered dozens of quick blows with his fencing, the additional sharpness of his skill together with the newly forged bone sword, pierced and cut through the Buffalo's flesh easily making the animal roar in pain.
Realizing the animal's madness, Alex moved away from the creature that was now spinning wildly, trying to attack the small human who dodged easily, using his size as an advantage.
Alex stepped back several meters, a smile forming as another huge ball of flame was launched.
"Why do I have to fight as a swordsman? I'm a mage! "
Alex's words seemed to harden the big bovine, who sensed the mockery in his tone of voice, and shot towards Alex in an attempt to attack.
But it was no use when all he got was a huge ball of flame, hitting the head of the charging Buffalo.
The Buffalo was one of the largest animals on the island, but its body lacked any means of attack, which is perhaps why it was such a passive beast.
