Our "Hero" of the story finds himself stuck between the law and his own moral compass and decides to stand out against the corruption of the government only to find himself asking, "I'm not the fucking villain...right?" He was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got caught up in a whole mess of trouble. Will he be able to call himself morally just?
