2 Episode 2

With his emerald green eyes and stylish dirty blond hair, it was clear he was a foreigner.

"Don't mind Liwei, he's always grumpy. Need some help?" the green-eyed boy said.

Stumbling with my words, I managed to say, "that would be great, thank you?"

Standing up, ready to grab back my bag, I noticed that he was surely six feet tall. "Hi I'm Zach Boisseau," he said, putting his hand out for a handshake. His name would definitely be hard to say aloud.

"Oh my names' Lèxi," I responded. Placing my hand in his, I heard him say, "now that we're friends let me show you the European way."

Knowing what that meant, I tried to move, but before I could, he quickly kissed my cheek. Although I thought it was weird, it wasn't too bad.

Trying not to blush, I stood there stunned while he remained unaffected, he said "are you new here?"

I responded, "yeah I just got accepted here and I need to find the administration office."

"Okay I'll take you there," he insisted.

"Thanks," I said.

"No problem," he said.

Ignoring all the people, mostly girls who had gathered and began glaring at me, he pushed through the crowd and began walking with my things, my hand still intertwined in his, he pulled me all the way to the office.

When we got there I began grabbing my bags from him when he said, "you can go in, I'll hold your stuff for you."

Feeling skeptical of him, but deciding that it would be inefficient for a rich guy like him to want my girly clothing, I thanked him.

As I began walking into the building, he said, "you don't have to keep thanking me so much, we're friends now."

Friends? But, we just met, I guess there isn't really a time limit on for becoming friends. Nodding to him, I walked in.

Inside there was a front desk, with an older woman with brown hair in a bun, with her looking up at her I realized she was sleeping. I began to recite "excuse me," over and over, in hopes of her waking up. I knew the school season hadn't started yet, but I didn't think a fancy school like this would have an unqualified person working here. I began peering over the small gate in hopes of finding someone else that worked here. When I felt someone touch my right shoulder. Jerking my head back to them I could see it was a very tall boy with black hair that had small streaks of blue in it and black glasses.

He just stood there staring at me, so I asked him, "do you need something from me?"

"Yeah, you're in the way," he said.

"Oh sorry," I said moving from the door gate.

He walked in and went straight to the back and came back with a uniform in his hand, it didn't look like the uniforms I saw on the school site, it was black and white.

Noticing I was looking at him, he said, "are you still here? What are you waiting for?"

"Well she is sleeping and I'm new here so…," I said trailing off.

"Ugh. What your name?" he said.

"Um, I'm Cáo Lèxi," I replied.

"Oh your the new scholarship student. My name is Huang Yifen, I'm the student council vice president."
