Let's go back from the beginning, I'm just your everyday ordinary teenager. Going to school, doing my homeworks, eating in my past time, sleeping like a log and don't forget that I also became a part of ACG community. I like watching animes and reading novels, especially if the character is badass. I just imagined myself to be them whether if they are the protagonist or antagonist. In order to become one of them I joined most of the cosplay competition in my city, dozens of anime fans also flock in this type of event. I like portraying the image of Lelouch when he became "Julius Kingsley", his appearance is baddass.
Aside from watching anime series, I also read novels and fanfictions. Being a part of the webnovel community allowed me to enjoy the works of others. Especially those fanfiction of the animes. Well enough of my background.
One day, I got my ticket ready and rode my bike to watch the new release of the movie One Piece: Stampede. Being a fan of this shõnen manga for more than 5 years, I can't certainly miss the front row. After some minutes I arrived, I got my popcorn and cola and I watched my steps and enter the door of the cinema. I showed my golden pass to the busty babe and she lead me to the VIP sections while giving me seductive glances. You thought I'm an average Otaku do you <insert evil laugh> kukukuku, I'm sorry but it's me "DIO".
Joke aside, I'm from the upperclass family if you call it like that. My parents are both somewhat rich, so I enjoyed my life as an "ordinary" student. My parents always bugged me to have proper workout leading me to have a small gym in my room. My body is not bulky type like some of the pro wrestlers, I'm into swimmer build. My height is decent reaching 174 cm. My face is proportional, having fitted it to the fibbonacci sequence. My jaws are angular giving me hotter looks. So I can say that I'm "slightly" handsome. Taking the card from the busty babe, I immediately sit and checked my watch to see the time. Several minutes after that the opening of the movie already started.

Damn, that was pretty hardcore and satisfying. The movie is great, thank you TOEI animation and Oda-sensei. I checked the time saw that it was already past 6 pm. Then my phone suddenly vibrate inside my pocket. I grab it and look, on the screen there is a reminder "Tomorrow is Final Examination". I feel dizzy for a moment and shouted "Sh*****tt" on top of my lungs. Damn I forgot about this, realizing my blunder I look at my surroundings and see that almost all of the passerby look at me if I was an idiot, shouting suddenly at the street. Ughhhh, that was pretty embarrassing. I hurriedly walk out the scene and go to the parking lot. Grabbing the keys and starting my bike, I went home and started cramming for the night.

After several hours of torment in the examination room I'm already done. Taking my bag, I greeted my friends outside the room and joined them for the celebration party. I'm already in my last year in college, so I will "certainly" graduate this year. I'm confident with the "answers" I made, I am genius you know. Trailing behind my classmates I spotted a trashbin, I slowly put my fingers in one of the hidden pockets in my uniform. Calmly taking out a small piece of paper written with a lot of small formula and throwing it in the bin.

One month had passed after the examination when there is a virus that shocked the whole world. It orignated in China. Most people thought that it is just normal type of disease but they were proven wrong. The virus made an outbreak in China infecting a lot of people. The virus started to spread in other cities from Wuhan. It is very contagious and the spread very fast, the doctors believed that the infection will be transmitted through airborne and physical contact. The situation is very severe, a lot of people died after being infected within 14 days. The virus spreads from cities to cities and even infecting the border countries. After several weeks the virus spreads from overseas. Infecting the eastern and western countries. The whole world is on uproar. World Health Organization (WHO) declared it as a pandemic. Earning it's name COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019).

As for me, I am in my room doing what I usually do. This time I am watching the latest episode of One Piece where Luffy was 1-hit KOed by Kaido. I feel sorry for him but damn what kind of body Kaido had. Luffy barraged him with punches even transforming into his Gear 4th mode but he seems to be unharmed. Even though he took all the attacks of Luffy, he did'nt bleed, no bruises and his body remained still. Well, he is really a Yonko, the gap between him and the current Luffy is miles ahead. Hope Luffy can increase his strength after this. While I was watching the remaining episode, a voice shouted below my room.
"Alex, come down and eat with us"
"Yes mom, please wait a second"
As you know, I'm a good son and love them. I dont want them to get stressed because of me, so naturally I'm obedient to them. Hmmm, you dont know my name sorry about that, well allow me to introduce myself. I am Alex Mercer, 19 years old, currently living in my parents because of the "city lockdown" being imposed in our country, since my apartment is very far from here. Damn Corona-chan, my collectibles and figurines are there, I hope it will not be stolen by some burglars. As I went down the stairs since my room is on the second floor, I feel uncomfortable in my throat and coughed. Damn maybe I should stop reading novels until morning and get some proper sleep. I joined my family in the kitchen and eat dinner with them.
"Alex, what is the announcement of your university regardin the graduation ceremony?"
"I dun~~'cough' 'cough'~no Dad, they didn't gi~'cough'~ve any memo 'cough'"
"Hmm, honey are you ok?"
"I'm 'cough' alri~~'cough'~ght mom, it is just a c~~'caugh'~old"
"Well, honey you should drink the medicine in the drawer"
After I finish eating, I put my plate in the sink and grab the medicine in the drawer below the cabinet. I excused myself and go to my room to watch the lists of animes I planned.

Several days my cold got worst, I'm having trouble breathing and my body temperature exceeded 40 degrees celsius. My parents got worried especially my mother since my fever got worse every second. My father guessed that maybe I got infected with covid-19 since my symptoms are the same on the people that was deemed positive with the virus. 'FU****K' I shouted inwardly in my mind. What a sh*tty luck I have. I am currently in a private room in the hospital, while resting in the bed they provided. How come I was infected, I didn't even meet with my friends after the lockdown. I went home directly after the city was quarantined.
"Ugghhh" I groaned, the vaccine is nowhere to be found, since this virus is a new one. The development maybe will take 1-2 years before vaccine will be made. What kind of bad luck I have, to be infected with virus. Corona-chan, why did you choose me? I'm still a virgin Corona-chan. Sigh I don't know what to think anymore.
'Cough' 'Cough' 'Cough' 'Cough'
I'm sorry Mom~~ 'Cough' ~ Dad. My cough got worse everyday. I'm having difficulty breathing properly. Maybe this is the end for me.

But I don't wanna die, a want to live. Have family, get kids, grow old. I wanna see the whole world, discover things I don't see everyday. Have an adventure with my loved ones. 'DAMNNNNNN', I shouted in my heart. I didn't even see the end of One Piece. Who will be the pirate king? What is the 'One Piece' Roger mentioned? Sighhh, I exhaled a mouthful of air. I feel my sight get blurry, my eyes are tired. Maybe this is just a long dream and if I sleep things will go back to normal. I closed my eyes properly this time and let my body relaxed.

"Ughhhhhh"
I groaned loudly. I tried to open my eyes but the surroundings are very bright. I can't properly see. I tried to move my body, but even my fingers refused to move. 'SSSSSSSSSSS' I enhaled a lot of air and tried calm down.
"What happen, the last thing I remembered that I was admitted in the hospital"
I tried to open my eyes this time and slowly me eyelids open. I tried to assess the situation I'm in. But to my surprise I'm not in a room but rather in a forest. A lot of trees and grasses greeted my sight.
"Why am I here? I am in my private room in the hospital the other day"
This time I tried to move my body and finally they seem to respond. I slowly get up and try to move my arms. But, I slowly realized something was amiss. It feels like that there is missing. And to my surprise I look to my hands.
"Ah"
