6 Chapter 7 Evil plan

After breakfast, I decided to take a walk in the garden with maids trailing behind me.

It was the most beautiful garden I had ever seen, it looked enchanted. I could hear the birds singing and the sweet scent of flowers.

As I idle past the suede soft flowers, they are tingling my fingers as I touched them. I sat on a bench in the garden and closed my eyes as I listened to the lullaby of breeze swishing through the trees. It was so peaceful until I heard a voice.

"Oh, Lady Evangeline, I was looking for you," it was Lady Lilith who was walking towards me with her maids behind.

"Queen Lilith," I greeted.

She sat next to me on the bench, "It's such a peaceful day, isn't it?"

"Yes, it is."

She turned to the maids and dismissed them.

"Lady Evangeline, are you really happy with this marriage?"

My eyes widened and I stared at her, "Why did you ask?"

"I just want to help you, if you are not happy just tell me," she smiled sweetly.

At the dining she was glaring at me and now she is being nice and wants to help me, should I trust her?

"You don't know the king, he is not what you think he is," she said looking concerned, "Your not safe in this castle, you have to leave before it is too late." She stood up, she placed her hand on my shoulder and squeezed it gently, "Think about it," she said and walked away.

Could the rumors about the king be true?
