4 Chapter 5 Sweet wife

"Thank you for saving my life," I bowed.

"It's okay if you are not ready to consummate the marriage. I'll be patient."

How did he know? the king was so gentle, there was nothing evil about him.

"You should rest," he offered me a charming smile.

I walked towards the bed and laid down. I couldn't believe I would be sharing the same bed with a man who was now my husband.

The king walked towards the bed and slowly took off his shirt and he noticed when her heart skipped a beat.

Good Lord, this man was breathtaking. He had defined upper body with broad shoulders. It was as if his chiseled body was molded by the gods themselves.

He leaned forward and I was about to get up from the bed when he grabbed my arm.

"W..what are you doing?" I asked.

"Relax, I said I won't do anything so why are you afraid?" he asked, "The weather is hot and I prefer sleeping like this. Get some sleep."

She nodded and faced the other side. Seeing him half naked made her cheeks burn.

Teivel continued to stare at his newlywedded wife who was asleep. She was so beautiful and innocent. He never imagined he would fall in love with a girl like her.

"I will never let anyone take you away from me," he whispered but she couldn't hear it because she had already fallen asleep.

I woke up slowly to the sounds of birds chirping in the distance. Sebastian was nowhere to be seen, maybe he had work to do or he was spending time with his first wife, and the thought of it made me jealous.

I got ready quickly before the maids could arrive and decided to take a walk around the castle and find the kitchen.

As I walked around the castle I couldn't stop admiring the beautiful paintings on the wall.

"My Queen," I heard a voice from behind and I turned back and saw a maid, she bowed her head, "Do you need anything, my Queen?"

"No, I was just looking for the kitchen."

The maid looked surprised, but didn't utter a word and led the Queen to the kitchen.

"This way, my Queen."

Immediately I entered the kitchen all the servants stopped what they were doing and bowed their heads. They all looked surprised because a royalty had never stepped foot in the kitchen.

An old lady walked towards me and bowed, "Do you need anything, your highness?"

"No, I just want to prepare breakfast."

The servants looked at the new queen confused.

"Your highness, you do not have to do that. We prepare the food," The old maid said.

"I enjoy cooking, just let me handle the cooking today."

The old maid couldn't refuse the Queen, "Okay, Your highness," she bowed

"Please, don't call me that, You are old enough to be my mother, I want you call me by my name."

"B....." She was about to refuse when she noticed the frown on my face.

"Okay," she finally agreed.

What a strange Queen, the servants thought.
