25 Chapter 23.

A new chapter for you guys.

We have a curfew in our local city and I'm getting bore because of it.

How unfortunate for her to become like this when she has not even done anything in her life except showing care to people she grew up with.

She is one of the examples of what could go wrong in this world if you only see the happy ending from the anime. This girl is suffering from this just because she is born rich and she doesn't even know this.

"Miss Kaya!"

Mary called out to her.

Kaya slowly moved her head from the front of the window to our side. She looked at her with a smile then looked at us with confusion. She must be wondering about us.

"They are?"

Kaya spoke while coughing a little which made Mary panicked.

"Don't try to speak miss Kaya. They are the new doctors who have come from the seas".

Mary explained to her who were we. Kaya was once again lost in her thoughts.

I don't think she was even paying attention to us however her face showed excitement when she heard the word seas. Her eyes looked quite interested and she seemed quite eager to ask us about the outside world.

"Did you come from the seas? How's everything outside?"

Kaya started to ask questions from us. She was asking questions quite hastily. She was acting like a child who is just born into the world.

"Everything outside is beautiful compared to this room".

I replied to her which made her smile. She looked quite cute when she showed me that smile. She is beautiful with kind nature.

She wanted to ask more questions from me however I stopped her because I wanted to check her condition before talking to her anymore. She realised it and shut her mouth to not speak anything further till I give her permission.

I don't want her to get any more ill just because of some questions and answers. After all, she would come with us on our adventures and I don't want to bring a burden with me to the adventure.

I checked her condition via her pulse from her right hand which made her embarrassed because she was never touched by a stranger before even if she was the stranger was never of her age, to begin with. Her body though was quite weak because of that damn poison.

Her condition was not bad if I say to myself. With my skills, I could cure her in at least one week that is without any kind of medicines. Still, I have to show some serious problem here otherwise they might not even believe me.

"Your condition is quite bad however I would be able to treat you if I can get the ingredients I need".

I told Kaya while the last line was for Mary. They both nodded at me.

"Tell me what you need. I would make sure to gather it before evening".

Mary told me hastily though you could see that she was quite happy after all she would finally be able to treat Kaya.

I went towards Zoro and whispered in his ear to do something. He looked confused but didn't say anything. He went outside to get that piece of meat that I had saved for this moment. It's was a needed thing in this cure of her.

Kaya and Mary looked towards me with some confusion because they didn't understand why K told him to go outside. I just waved at them nonchalantly before taking a seat on the bed of Kaya.

Mary took a paper and pen from the drawer of the table which was present in the room. I told her about the ingredients and she wrote them down. The list contained at least ten ingredients that could be found on this island.

After writing everything on the paper she went outside to collect them all leaving behind me and Kaya who looked curiously to my side. She started to question me about the outside while I answered her with a smile. She was becoming comfortable around me quite easily which was a nice thing for me.

Zoro (P.O.V)

I don't understand why would captain want that weak girl in our crew. She doesn't seem to have any kind of speciality in anything. Well, no matter if the captain wants her in the crew then I would not ask his decision.

What is he even gonna do about that piece of meat? Wasn't he gonna treat her?

Well, it's not my problem either way. I'm gonna bring that piece of meat which we got after killing a sea king. Well, I don't even know if he can truly save her from her disease because it looked quite dangerous to me. I don't know even know just how much our captain knows about this area of expertise.

I finally reached our ship though there was not anyone around. Those two girls had gone somewhere without even informing us however that girl with the captain is strong so she would be able to handle almost anything.

I took the piece of meat from the utensils and started to walk towards the mansion again. After I would parcel it to my captain I'm gonna sleep for some time. I need a good nap after doing this much work.

I reached the mansion and knocked on the door while waiting outside. Mary which was her name came outside this time. I gave her that piece of meat without telling her what was even inside and went back to the ship.

Captain told me to delivered it to her and go back to the ship to train myself. I don't see a reason either to wait here when I could just do some productive things for myself.
