Two Years~

Asuna's sudden outburst shocked me and the others as we all stared at her speechless. She must have realized it also as her face turned bright red as she then stutteringly said.

"I-I didn't mean to say it like that. I just want to get stronger so I can control my own fate." Her voices then gradually lowered until it can only be faintly heard.

I totally understand her and I won't judge her because of that. It's not like I won't teach them and I would really like to take her offer only, I don't want to look like someone who would take advantage of others.

"It's okay Asuna. You don't have to worry as I will be teaching all of you how to fight. That's what friends are for right?" I said to her.

"Really!?" I nodded to her and she was really happy. I did her mumble 'Only friends?' but I decided to ignore it for a while as a relationship would take time to bloom. I already know that she has feelings for me and that's what all that matters.

Location: First Floor Labyrinth, Level 6

I slowly taught them how to fight using their sword skills or even some simple swings, they are fast learners so I didn't have a hard time teaching them. With my [Teaching] skill, it was really easy to turn them into seasoned fighters.

They can now fight monsters easily but still haven't found the boss room. The first floor was really vast so I know that it would really be hard to find it. There is one clue that I have though is that it must be near Tulbana since that was where the meeting was held.

Since they are already good fighters, I can finally leave them and not be worried about them getting killed and be ejected out of the game. I think that would confuse them and then make them sad as the others are still inside the game.

I heard that there was a player who tried to prove that they won't really die and will be resurrected but he didn't. This made the other players believe that they would really die if they die in this game but I know that that player is out in real life okay.

They have now finished killing so I yelled at them.

"That's enough guys. We're all done today."

I then went towards them as they were talking about their experiences this past two days. Honestly, though, I feel like it had been two years with their rate of progress but I can't really blame them as they don't have [Instant Mastery] as I do.

"Kirito-kun how did I do?" Asuna said as she then went close to me as she looked at me as if she was waiting to be praised.

To be honest, it is quite strange to see her act like this as she was not like this in the original series, it must have something to do with my appearance as the Kirito in the original series was quite an introvert and a loner.

This must be also because I am teaching her how to fight and was helping her take control of her own fate as she will get stronger. Also, it might be also because of my face which I have almost changed numerous times as I will always get swarmed by girls.

But I decided not to since it is only 20 and not even infinite, just what would happen if it was?

Another thing to be happy about is that I made them weapons made of the materials that can be found here. Although there are not really much to be found here, I can only create weapons and armors that are only slightly better than the ones that can be received from the quests.

I had also created a sword for myself to which I called [Dark Blade] since it was black in color which was also my favorite color. It has nothing to do with Kirito's likes as I really like black even before I died.

The guys also found out that I cook my own food and when they tasted it, they can't have enough of it and would always keep asking for more to which I would decline as I will only serve them once and that is if I'm in a good mood.

Asuna took this as a challenge though as she told me that she would defeat me someday in terms of cooking to which I only told her that I will be waiting for her.

Our relationship was quite strange but anyone with a good eye will realize that we are not simply friends. I didn't tell her as she didn't tell me also.

Time: 6:00 pm

Location: Horunka Village, Inn

We were having our dinner when I decided to tell them my plan to go solo.

"I plan to kill monsters alone from now on guys," I said to them, shocking only Asuna as the guys already knew that I would be going sooner or later.

"Why Kirito-kun!?" Asuna asked me as she looked at me with slightly watery eyes.

She looked so pitiful and I know that she must be afraid that I might leave her. But she has to stop depending on me so that she can stand on her own, I don't want her to depend on me all the time.

"Because I will be going to more dangerous places from now on and I'm afraid I'm the only one that will be able to go there," I said to her.

Asuna stood up from her seat as she walks towards me and grabbed my shoulders as she said to me, "Is it because of I too weak!? Is it!?"

I then stood up and hugged her. I know that she really doesn't want me to go. But I really have to. The readers want me to go solo and I have to satisfy their request or else Mira-chan will be doomed.

(AN: How's that for BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL?)

"You're weak for now Asuna," I said to her then I continued. "But you won't be weak forever, right? I know that you will get stronger someday and at that time, we will fight together, okay?"

Asuna then said softly to my ear, "I will get stronger Kirito-kun. Just you wait for me."

I smiled as I have managed to convince her and not leave any emotional or mental scar to her as I am afraid that that might affect her. I know that she will get stronger as I have seen it with my two eyes.

I turned to look at Klein as Asuna was still in my embrace and he nodded at me. Sometimes, men don't have to say anything to understand each other, they will just naturally understand about it.

And….

They started to leave,

Which is really not what I was expecting or what I should've expected from a pervert like Klein.
