27 Trusting Tony

Tony excused himself to take his suit off, telling Viktor and Emma to make themselves at home while Pepper entertained them.

Pepper went to the Kitchen and Viktor said "I have good things!" he looked excited and Emma smiled calmly "Like last time?" Viktor scratched his neck and smiled wryly, well not as good as last time… But it's good!"

Emma pat his thigh and smiled "Wait till we go home." Viktor smiled and nodded, holding her hand and whispering in her ear, making her giggle.

Pepper came back and smiled at them, saying "It'll only take a moment." Viktor nodded and excused himself, walking down to Tony's workshop, leaving the girls to talk about…

Well, who knows what really!

Viktor passed through the broken glass pane and looked at Tony taking off the armor.

He sat on the couch and watched the TV showing the news and clips of the two Ironman fighting.

Viktor clicked his tongue and sighed "It's really a shame he blew up…" Tony looked over and grinned "Why? Want to be Ironboy?" Viktor laughed and said regretfully "Wouldn't it look awesome in my clinic?"

He sighed and Tony's lips twitched, he said speechlessly "I think only you would think of that…" Viktor threw his head back and looked at Tony, saying "So where's my A.I?" Tony pretended to be confused as he said "A.I? What are you talking about?"

Viktor looked at him speechless and shocked as he said "I saved your life and your girlfriend and you still won't give it to me?!" Tony chuckled and said "Huh? When did that happen? I don't remember."

Viktor pointed at him before sighing "I'll just kidnap you, it's fine…" Tony took off the armor and sat in a chair in front of a bunch of screens, laughing "Good luck with that."

Kikoku appeared next to Tony's neck and Viktor grinned at him "I don't need luck, right?" Tony looked at him and chuckled "You really do know how to use it!" Viktor sheathed Kikoku and said angrily "I told you I did before!"

Tony twisted his finger in his ear, saying "I didn't believe you." Viktor looked at him with a betrayed look in his eyes as Tony chuckled "Relax. I think it's cool to carry a sword around too. Maybe they should call you the Samurai Surgeon instead."

Viktor clicked his tongue and said "You're no fun, you know that?" Tony snapped his fingers and replied "What do you mean? I'm the life of a party." as he typed on his keyboard.

Viktor stared at the screen for a few seconds and Tony smirked "Amazing, right?" Viktor nodded and replied "I have no idea what I'm looking at but the visual effects are pretty cool." Tony nearly collapsed and he shouted "I'm coding! Coding, understand!?"

Viktor nodded and said "Oh."

Tony paused and looked at him, Viktor was still nodding with his eyes closed and Tony said seriously "Can I see your PhDs? I don't believe you're a real doctor." Viktor frowned and said "Excuse me, I'm the best doctor in this world. I guarantee you won't find someone like me anywhere else. Just because I don't understand other things doesn't mean I'm not smart!"

Tony nodded and said "I believe you." Viktor looked at him and veins pulsed on his forehead as he spat through gritted teeth "Are you being sarcastic right now? Do you want me to bifurcate you?"

Tony grinned and said "That's murder, Doctor. Not amputation." Viktor almost punched him in his smug face, but held back, closing his eyes as he said "I really hate you, you know that?"

Tony just chuckled and turned back to the computer, asking "What kind of comics are you going to make?" Viktor said nonchalantly "All kinds." Tony said sarcastically "Wow! Very descriptive!"

Viktor grinned suddenly and said "I can make an Ironman comic, how about it?" Tony said in confusion "Ironman?" Before looking at the TV and seeing himself, he looked at Viktor and laughed "Yeah?"

Viktor nodded and said 'generously' "I'll even give you 10 cents for every copy sold." Tony clapped in disdain "Wow. So generous." Viktor just chuckled and thought about his idea.

It would certainly make a lot of money, plus it could be fun to see what the aftermath of his comics becomes.

Maybe Tony can make his infamous Endo-Sym armor?

How spectacular would that be!?

The more he thought about it, the more Viktor's eyes glew!

Plus the building next to his clinic was a rundown dump!

It was time for a renovation anyway!

Viktor said "By the way, I can remove your shrapnel."

Tony froze and looked at him, saying "Really?" Viktor nodded and smiled "I can even let you keep your Arc Reactor. It's not much of a problem anyway, plus, don't you think it's kinda cool? So the only thing that would happen is removing the danger you're constantly in. The rest of it isn't affected."

Tony thought about it for a few moments before nodding "Okay." Viktor smiled and said "Okay, lay down on a table." Tony jumped in shock, saying "Don't you need like, I don't know, AN OPERATING TABLE!?"

Viktor said seriously "There's no need. Trust me. You won't even feel it." he shouted upstairs "Little Bear!" Emma's voice sounded in his mind, "Honey?" Viktor said "I need you to alter Tony's memories as though we went to the hospital after dinner and I surgically removed his Shrapnel. Just put a barrier around me and Tony so that Jarvis doesn't record the process."

Emma replied sweetly "Okay, love. Let me know~"

Viktor looked at Tony and grinned saying "You won't remember this anyway, do you want to watch your surgery first hand?"

Tony was startled and said "What do you mean?" Viktor flipped his palm and said "ROOM." an invisible bubble appeared around him and Tony.

Viktor unsheathed Kikoku and slashed at Tony, chopping his head off.

Tony's eyes widened and he couldn't believe he was going to die like this.

He closed his eyes only to open them and looked around in confusion.

Viktor grabbed his head and looked at him funnily, saying "Can you relax? I told you I was going to treat you. Why would I kill you in your own home? Do I look like an idiot?" Tony said honestly, "Well, yes."

Viktor's lips twitched and he glared at the severed head in his hands. He threw Tony's head next to him and it floated in the air, turning around.

Tony's eyes widened and he shouted "Oh my god! Is that my body?! How am I still alive!?" Viktor's eyes rolled and he said "Can you shut up? Come watch." Tony shut up and looked curiously as Viktor slashed his torso in 4 pieces.

Tony watched incredulously as no blood flowed out.

Viktor turned one piece of the torso over and cut it in half, revealing all his organs in that part. He flipped it over and showed Tony, "Look. These are the shrapnel pieces that are causing your problems. This is also your heart. You also have several other hidden problems, like a weak liver, a benign tumor in your stomach, and an early sign of appendicitis."

Tony was amazed and said "Wow! No wonder you said you were the World's Best Doctor. How can you not be?" Viktor grinned and took out the shrapnel pieces, putting them in a little jar he prepared before he even came to Malibu.

Then he took out the benign tumor, cured Tony's weak liver, and cut out his appendix before closing him all up and sending his head back.

Tony moved his limbs and stared at Viktor in shock, saying "That was wonderful!" Viktor chuckled and said "Don't take it too seriously, it's not a big deal. You won't remember anyway."

Tony was confused and Viktor just smiled, not explaining, saying instead "I don't want people to know. All my patients that need it are always unconscious. I can even cure cancer without sequelae. I just want to live in peace with my wife." he shook his head and added sincerely "Tony, it's not that I don't trust you…"

Tony waved and said "No, no, I get it. When will I forget?" Viktor said "After dinner. I hope you don't tell Pepper." he sat down and said honestly "SHIELD is already eyeing me. I really don't want to get involved."

Tony looked at him and asked "Can I ask you a question?" Viktor said "Shoot." Tony said "Why? You have amazing powers, don't you want to use them freely? Also, is there a problem with SHIELD? You even saved their agents today."

Viktor looked tangled and replied "Because people will think I'm a Mutant and my family will be in a ton of danger. You don't understand, if it's not magic then you must be a Mutant. With how everyone feels about Mutants I'll be on the run everyday. If I want to have a kid, will I even have the guts to?"

He sighed and continued "Would I want to bring a child into the world while I'm on the run from governments everywhere? There's danger everywhere, not just from bad guys and criminals, but governments too! As we speak there are kids being tortured and experimented on like labrats everywhere, and only for being a mutant! It's just too dangerous and I don't have the power to protect my family."

He paused and added "SHIELD doesn't have a problem… Or rather, I don't have a problem with SHIELD. I just don't want to get involved. I hope you can understand."

Tony frowned and rubbed his chin, staying silent. Viktor looked at him earnestly and Tony said "I get it. I mean, I wouldn't believe what just happened if I didn't see it. Also… Is that true? What you said about those kids?"

Viktor nodded and sighed "Yes. Think about it like this; If you're a scientist and see a child with superpowers wouldn't you be jealous that you don't have any? The only logical step is to capture the child and see if you can also get superpowers. Even if you don't think like that, the problem is that some people do! If only 'some' people in every country do, then that means there's tens of thousands of these 'scientists', how many kids are being experimented on?"

Viktor shook his head and added "How many children do you need? If one dies, you always need to continue, right? It's like buying metal for your suits."

Tony had a shiver down his spine as he said "Please, don't make the comparison. You're disgusting me." Viktor laughed and said "That's the truth, Tony. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do."

Tony frowned "Why not? Clearly we can go save them!" Viktor laughed "And after that? Kill the scientists? What about new scientists? What about the government experiments, are you going to kill government officials?" he shook his head and said "There's only one solution, slaughter the governments and carry out forced cross breeding."

Viktor smiled wryly and added "Not that I'm going to do that, but it is a permanent solution." Tony nodded and agreed "It's crazy, but it does solve everything. After all, if everyone is a Mutant then no one is a Mutant."

Viktor nodded but spread his hands and said "But it's impossible." Tony sighed and said "I can't think of anything either." Viktor shook his head and patted his shoulder, saying "Don't worry about it. This isn't something for me and you to deal with. Leave it to the Mutants."

Tony chuckled and said "Whatever you say, Doctor." Viktor chuckled and said "It's time to eat." before leaving.

Tony looked at his monitors and said "Did you get that Jarvis?" but he was replied to with "Get what, Sir?" Tony smiled wryly and followed Viktor upstairs.

He had to give it to him.

This guy was extremely careful.

Maybe if he didn't agree to remove the shrapnel, he would've never known!
