21 Shadow Soldiers

It's been a month since my birthday, and since I awakened my X-gene. Thanks to my luck, my mutant power is considered weak at the beginning, as that was I wished for, so that neither Charles nor Eric will come after me asking to join their boy band, and it worked pretty good, no one came to knock on the door day after my awakening.

The first thing I did after getting the X-gene was studying my gene, how it changed me genetically. I did come to interesting conclusion after the extensive study of the gene for about four straight hours.

I found out that I have superhuman strength, superhuman endurance, superhuman stamina, power absorption, material absorption, energy absorption, regeneration. Right now I'm as powerful as Captain America.

Since I've X-gene, that means mutants are present in this universe, now that's a problematic case. Till now I only had to make sure that my family will be safe from the alien invasion, only extraterrestrial threats. Now I need to check if anyone in my family is a mutant, because if they are, it'll be problematic if Stryker, Charles or Eric realise about it. But from my understanding and words of TOAA I could theorize that, Charles has done something that made all the humans present and past to forget about the Human subspecies Mutants.

So the first thing I did after knowing that there are mutants in this planet is making devices that can make any kind of power or tech that can be used to figure out if someone is a mutant, unusable. As I was going to make that I heard mom calling me from home. Knowing that, she'll only call me five minutes before my lab time, I hummed and slowly walked out of the lab and went straight to my home.

As I reached the dining hall I saw my dad sitting on his chair for dinner, and mom setting up the table. Seeing them I lightly smiled and sat down on my chair, and spoke to dad "Hey dad, can I skip high school?"

Hearing my question dad almost spat out his drink and mom was so startled that the utilities fell down. Mom waas the first one to come out of her stupor, so she asked me "Why do you want to skip high school, Arthur Ace Black"

'Oh... god here we go. She's mad as hell.' "So that I could do things I like?"

"Like what, sitting in that lab of yours or writing books and shows, so that you wouldn't have to interact with other kids of your age?"

I couldn't refute that, cause I don't want to hang out with kids of my age, they are mean, idiotic and hard headed. Seeing that it won't go my way all the way I asked them again "So, if that's not possible what can i do?"

"How about, attending high school, interacting with kids and making some friends?" dad spoke at last.

"And also study well. If you can make some friends and get good grades, I won't ask you to get top grades, we'll think about early graduation. But you'll go to high school for one year, after one year if you can't make one friend you'll study through high school with out earl graduation." Mom said.

Understanding that I can't win this argument I agreed with their terms and ate everything in my plate and went to bed.

As soon as I woke up, Alpha spoke to me 'Ace. We can come out now.' and he went silent after that. Not understanding what he meant I went to bathroom to do my daily routine. As I tried to open the door, unexpectedly I broke the handle. Right at that moment I figured out what he meant by they can come out now.

Figuring out that I've enough power now to unleash all my shadow soldiers I was excited. I'll be meeting rest of the shadow soldiers for the first time, even Alpha. Even though we speak to each other I haven't met him yet.

Excited, I spoke "Come out!!!!!"

Right as I said that, my shadow started to expand in size. From inside of the shadows, some figures came out with weapons in hand and wearing tactical gear as armour.

One shadow stood ten feet tall, he was standing in a hunched back because of the limit of the room. Seeing that I quickly ordered every shadow that came out from my shadow to go back. Obeying my order they went back to my shadow.

Right after that I bolted to the basement of my lab. Reaching there I checked the height of the room, seeing that it's only eight feet difference from floor to ceiling. So I went down one more floor where the height between floor and ceiling is twelve feet, because of the heavy machinery present here.

So, I called them again. Then in the basement there were fifteen shadow soldiers stood tall. As I was about to ask them about their names I went into a trance.

After coming out of my trance state, a lot of information was available for me. Like how to create more Shadow's, how to enter the shadow realm, names of the shadow soldiers from knight rank onwards, their powers, the rulers authority, monarchs domain and many more.

All fifteen of them had unique names, which is connected to their powers. Alpha, as the name states he's the Alpha or the Grand Marshall of the shadow soldiers, he have the knowledge about how to command and direct them in battle.

Ghost, one of the Marshall of shadow soldiers. As his name implies, he's a master in infiltration and assassination.

Ice, another one of the Marshall, as her name implies, she dable with ice magic and she's a master swordsman with great sword.

Sabre, he is a strong warrior with. Echo, she's is able to control sounds. Midnight, she can control darkness. Gray, he's a physical fighter.

Aztec, Adal, Frost, Dawn are the Elite Knights.

Ash, Aspen, Gunner, Blue are the Knights.

Looking at them I was esthetic, just as I was about to go into trance again, I remembered the promise I made to Melina.

So wasting no time I contacted her through the shadows, 'Melina? You free?'

After a couple of seconds she replied 'Yes. What is it Ace?'

'I'm going to fulfill my promise to you and the girls'

'When?'
