Adam's (P.O.V)

"Why are you so self conscious?" I hissed at her. "I'm not but if you're seeing other girls then what do you expect me to think?" "I'm not seeing anyone but you. You always jump to fucking conclusion. Do you know how annoying that is?" I was now growing angry." Tisk, tisk language Dark." Kevin waved his finger mockingly. "Who's jumping to conclusion when clearly we have a witness." she pointed at Kevin. "What witness this guy a fucking idiot. He doesn't know what he's talking about." I stated. "Hey I'm still here." Kevin retorted "This is ridiculous you're just like your father." She rolled her eyes. People started staring an creating unnecessary attention. "If you want to end this then let's do that since you keep digging up stupid excuses.... Fuck this I'm done. " I grouched. "language Dark you keep swearing." Kevin reminded. "shut up Kevin." I said before entering the elevator. I was annoyed and frustrated. I got off at the third floor and entered my rehearsal studio if Kevin is all she listened to then she can go with him and he can take her home I'm through with trying to make it work when she won't even give me the chance to explain myself. "Ok explain! Tell me who she was and what happened? How can you explain kissing her?" Honey swung the door open startling me, with tear filled eyes. "Where's Kevin?" I asked, "Never mind him you tell me to let you explain so go ahead an explain." She said clearly fighting the tears. "She was hired by my agency to star in my music video...'stung by a scorpion'...look it up if you don't believe me Kevin must of saw us shooting the video." I explained. There was a look of relief plastered on her face. I walked over to her taking a hold of her hand. "I'm nothing like my father. I would never hurt you." She smiled but still tears rolled down her cheeks I guess these where tears of joy. "Sit down I want to show you something." I sat her down on the sofa chair and I grabbed a guitar. I pulled up a stool and sat in front of her.

Honey's (P.O.V)

My heart was racing I was getting a live show from the Dark Scorpion not only a live performance but a private V.I.P one just for me. Oh, how I wish Demi would be sitting here right next to me she would probably die on the spot. Adams started tugging at the guitar strings. And he played it perfectly. This kid had so many hidden talents I had no idea he could play the guitar so well. The tune he played was soft and mellow then my thoughts ran dry and blank as soon as he opened his mouth to sing. Truly angelic and amazing. I sat there with my jaw hanging in awe. "Honey Your like an angel replacing the angel I lost. You will forever hold a spot inside my heart. The brighter start and the darkest sky at night. But I pray everyday that we never have that fight. What if you're not for me or you're just not right. Just tell me these three words and we won't have to fight. I love you, I'm so confused I don't I don't know witch one to chose. But I know one thing is certain I just want to be with you.

I didn't know how to react, but I latched on to him wrapping my arms around his neck pulling him in for a big wet kiss he stumbled with shock and fell on top of me but instantly wrapped his arms around me and embraced my kiss. "Did you like it?" He asked smiling with a twinkle in his eyes. "I loved it. You're amazing. Adam no wonder you're a super star." I complimented. "Now do you still think Dark Scorpion is a lousy singer ad that Kasey Kay is better?" He chuckled with a smirk. "I take it all back no one beats my boyfriend." He kissed me slipping his tongue in my mouth. "Ah there you are...oh sorry to interrupt but we have a meeting." A guy barged in causing me to push Adam away as he fell to the floor. The guy looked oddly familiar he stared at me back. "Wait aren't you the step sister?" He pointed at me while he glared at Adam. Adam jumped off the ground. "Joey buddy lets talk out side for a bit." He nervously laughed wrapping an arm around Joeys' shoulder and walked him out.

This was not going good not at all. I was curious to know what he would say to him. I ran over placing an ear against the door. I couldn't hear a sound, so I slowly pulled it slightly opened. I poked my head out. When I saw no one in sight I tippy toed down a hall that's when I heard voices coming from a room, there was a slight crack opened it. I peeked through and there Adam was chatting with Joey

"isn't that considered some sort of incest kind of thing?" Joeys said with an extremely confused expression. "It's not like that dummy there's no blood relation besides our parents are splitting up so it all works out." Adam smirked running a hand through his messy hair. "Yea but still you could have done better bro I mean look at her she's so plain and unattractive, she doesn't wear any make up or even style her hair not to mention her fashion sense is way off the chart dude." Joey was saying some nasty things, but I couldn't help but agree. "Hey, she doesn't need all that to make her pretty she's beautiful in ever way in my eyes she's perfect just the way she is. Natural" Adams words surprised me causing me to blush. He was defending me in the sweetest way possible.

"Well If you say she makes you happy then that's all that matters right?" Joey patted Adam on the back. They started walking towards the door. I panicked knowing they would see me eavesdropping on their conversation. I quickly jolted back, running back to the room as fast as my legs could take me. I kept running then realized there was a never-ending hall. "Shit" I murmured before turning around and running down a second hall. After what felt like an hour I knew I was lost somewhere in this massive building. I saw a few girls walking out of a room they looked really pretty, they wore sweats and runners I guess they be back up dancers. "Excuse me can you help me find Darks studio?" I asked. "And you are?" One snapped "move groupie we have a concert coming up no time for stalkers." They continued as they walked past me each one bumping shoulders with me. Rude little witches must be Adams back up dancers.

I continued down the halls, this place was like a freaking maze. "Honey." I heard my name I turned around to find Kevin smiling at me. He was walking with some guys wearing business suits. He dismissed them as he made his way towards me. "What are you doing here and where's Dark?" He asked with amusement written on his face. "I don't know I think im lost." I pouted and almost cried at the thought Adam might be worried looking for me.

"Oh, dear this is the business management department. If you just go down that hall and take a left you will enter the entertainment department...how did you get lost anyways?" He asked still smirking. "I don't know It just ended up that way." I laughed it off "well thanks see you later." I waved. "Wait...I hope your not too upset about what I had said earlier.....I mean I wouldn't want you getting hurt." He sympathized. "No not at all, thanks for worrying about me. I'm not upset." I assured him. "Dark really is lucky to have you by his side.... goodbye then I'll see you around." He said before walking off. Kevin is kind hearted sweet and just polite. He's truly every girls fantasy. A real gentle man indeed.

"You idiot!"

Then there's Adams. I turned around to his rude remark. "Where the hell did you go?" He huffed. As he charged at me. "I wanted to take a look around your agency." I lied. "Then You should have asked me why wonder off without telling me dummy." He knocked on the side of my head. "I swear sometimes I wonder if you have a brain inside that head of yours." His rude input was offending.

"Easy shit head I didn't know you where going to take for ever talking to your buddy... And you didn't even bother showing me around." I shouted. "I was singing to you stupid when did I have time to show you around I can't read your fucking mind. I'm not mind reader." He swore. "Watch your mouth kid and when your around me do-" he shut me up with a kiss. Making me swallow my words. "Shut up already." He Smiled kissing me some more.

"Ahem!...Adam a word please." Robyn cleared her throat, curling her index finger at him. "Yea just a minute." Adam looked at me with a smile that read 'I love you.' Even though he hasn't said it was written all over his face. "Stans waiting downstairs in front of the building to take you home I'm sorry I can't take you myself, but I have a meeting." He explained. "It's ok just call me tonight if you get a chance." He kissed my forehead before walking off. I was fully checking him out as he walked off. Man was he ever hot. I made my way down and there Stan was waiting for my arrival. I got in and he drove off.

When I had arrived at home there was a note on the door. "Honey gone out with the ladies I'll be coming late and don't worry I won't get too drunk. I'm ok I promise love you." I know it was a lie and she was hurting bad. Plus, I know for a fact she would come home the next morning extra drunk but. What can I do? I'm her daughter not her mom. If she's going to let a man ruin and break her like this then she's not the woman I use to know. I crumpled the paper up and made my way towards my room. Falling asleep was a lot easier then I thought with a clear and calm conscious. Morning came, and I was out of bed and ready for school I walked pasted my moms' rooms and just like I guessed, she wasn't home yet.

I was on my way to school. I walked down the block and that's when I noticed Dylan stepping out of his house. His face was still cut up ad bruised. He looked at me and held his head down and walking off. He didn't stare, smile or even smirk like he use to every time he saw me. He didn't even hold a gaze longer than a second. It wasn't add considering Adam beat him up. I bet he's just humiliated that a little kid beat him up in front of his friends. I don't blame him his ego also took a beating.

I walked behind him that's when he took a left turn towards an ally. I guess he's taking a short cut to school to avoid me. I didn't pay too much attention, so I finally arrived at the bus stop Demi was already there. We chatted that's when Demi mention it. "So ready for the most humiliating day of our lives." She said with nothing but laughter. "Why is that?" I asked. "Don't tell me you forgot!! Today's the day of the play!." She cracked up. My heart started poundings "oh shit, oh shit. Oh shit," I said repeatedly. "Demi we are screwed none of use rehearsed." I cried. "I know that's why it's going to be the most humiliating day ever... Im ready for it but are you?" She was totally enjoying this. "Of course, I'm not the whole school is going to be watching, parents will show up and we don't even know the first line! What are we going to do?" I was now panicking. "Calm down we will get through it." Demi was useless support all she did was laugh. "Where's Adam anyways isn't he Romeo?" She asked. Every word she said was just making things worse. "He doesn't even know the play is today that idiot didn't even show up for one day of rehearsal he's on the same boat as us." I cried. Demi was on the floor laughing. I wanted to call Adam, but I didn't want him to come to the play and embarrass himself Id rather it be just Demi and I.

When we arrived at school everyone kept coming up to us saying how excited they where about the play after lunch. My stomach was Turning Demi and I made our way to first class. I kept trying to convince her to skip school with me, so we could miss the humiliation coming our way. At lease they have back up actresses in case something happened to me. But Demi insists it wouldn't be any fun, so she convinced the teacher to not let me talk me way out. So, in other words thanks to that so-called Friend of mine I'm screwed. It was lunch time I sat at the jocks table with Demi as Chad kept giving me looks as if I was a fly hovering around them. I wasn't a fool to not notice so I got up and I noticed Dylan walking towards me. I stopped, and he just kept walking until he passed me and sat at the table. he acted like he didn't even see me. I was relieved he was acting this way and not another. "Hey you're honey right?" A girl came up to me smiling. Hard. "Yes why?" I asked wondering why a popular girl was talking to me. " is it true you know Dark scorpion?" She asked. I looked around and everyone was staring at me. "This came out this morning." She stuck a magazine in from of my face and my picture was on it hand in hand with Dark Scorpion. It was yesterday at the grocery store. "It says you're his new girlfriend is it true?" Some other girl came out of no where. How in the hell did this happened just yesterday and come out this morning? talk about news traveling fasts "t-that's not me I wish it was." I laughed trying to play the whole thing off. "But it looks just like you." She said pointing at the picture. I laughed. "How would I possibly know Dark Scorpion does he even live in this city?" I lied "yea, you're right how could someone like you know thee Dark Scorpion." They said harshly leaving my presence. Oh well at least I managed to shake them off.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!?" I heard. I turned to see Demi stand up spitting the food out of her mouth grossly as the jocks all made disgusted faces. She held the same magazine the girls did. She looked around searching for the target then her eyes landed on me. she began to charge at me like a raging bull. "What the hell is this? why are you on This? and how did you meet Dark?" She was clearly mad and not so impressed She was extremely mad. There's no use lying to Demi she could see right through me. So here goes time to come clean.
