The Star

A time door appeared on top of a building in New York city, United States of America. A woman walked through the time door, making it close behind her. She took a deep breath of the air and grinned.

"This is it, the time I get the powers I need to successfully navigate the multiverse," she chuckled before she sent out her viral radar to find her target.

"There he is, Dr Strange," she grinned before a sling appeared on her left hand fingers. She made a portal open and walked through, appearing on the roof of a church where an ongoing wedding was going on. She sat down and waited.

Two hours in, she got the signal she was waiting for, chaos ensuing in the streets not far from the church. She sat back up and a grin slowly made on her face. This was the power up she needed and just like clockwork, she saw Dr Strange fly down towards where the chaos was going on.

"This will be such a rush for me," she said before she jumped down from the roof, receiving gasps of surprise from the wedding guests on the balcony. She landed heavily, the ground becoming a crater.

She then walked to where the fight between a giant one eyed tentacle monster and Dr Strange with her target, America Chavez. She alone was a snack she had decided to offend an organization that could travel in time and find her. Why? Because America Chavez held a power even a person like the Scarlet Witch would go against her ethics to gain her power. The power to travel through the multiverse! Besides, the current Strange was very much more tasty than the one she had.

America Chavez's power worked like so. She could create portals using energy using any of her limbs while mostly using her hands. The portal can lead to anywhere she wanted which meant she could go at any place in the multiverse with no restrictions. The portal is usually star shaped, probably why she wear a jacket with a star on her back, weird fetishes. Also, she had superhuman strength, speed, invulnerability, hyper cosmic awareness, energy infusion and she has a long lifespan. Except the last power, Chavez was the kind of meal she needed in order to get more meals out there in the multiverse.

She waited till Chavez had taken to the ledge of a building by Stranger's cape and left stranded there before she went into action. With a powerful jump, she soared in the air, landing in front of Chavez who screamt in fright a little. When she saw it was just a normal person, she became calm only for Alex to behead her with one sweep of his blade. She did not even know how she died, a look of relief still on her face as Alex got hold of her head.

"Sorry, kid, this will not even be a thing in a few minutes," she apologized before her viral biomass consumed her head and body. Chavez's memories flowed into her head and her power became hers to use for her own. Suddenly, her viral biomass went a quantitative change in which the original black colour turned reddish.

"Phew, that was amazing!" she laughed when the feeling was gone. She checked her hands and realized she could literary feel her strength had been multiplied severally! She looked down at the tentacle monster and grinned ferally. With a grunt, she leaped towards it and punched it through its eye, causing entire body to explode into a shower of flesh. Alex landed with a superhero pose right in front of Wong and Strange who were still leering at the shock of her killing Chavez.

"Who are you?" Strange asked as the two quickly got into defense. Alex looked at them with an approving grin.

"Yes, you truly are the best Strange of the two. Not complaining, the other one gave me your photographic memory which is probably the best thing for a sorcerer. You on the other hand can offer me a whole new level of intelligence, from how to get into Kamar Taj to a whole arsenal of spells," she said with a predatory smile on her face.

"Other me? What are you talking about? Are you a demon?" Strange asked her.

"Perhaps I will be one day, who knows. I go where the most tasty meals are and you, Strange, are the most tasty one here for the moment," she answered before chuckling. "Good thing I know where I can find a defenseless you." She immediately opened a sling portal to a roof and jumped in, going to where a corpse of Dr Strange was. Without hesitating, she immediately consumed him and she was once again assailed by the feeling of change.

In all its adventures, the virus had never come across the kind of energies it was being subjected to. The energies were causing the virus to mutate, became even more powerful and hence, even more dangerous and thus, making the Prototype that was its host become a very dangerous individual. Mystic arts were one of the balance breaking powers out there and she had just consumed the Sorcerer Supreme of another universe! The amount of magic flowing in her body were causing her entire viral biomass to change, evolve and develop faster and more powerfully. A shockwave was released from her body that threw Wong and Strange, who had just walked through the still open portal, away.

"So this is power! Power beyond anything I have ever felt," Alex said in pure fascination. She could feel the different dimensions of power out there beckoning for her to draw their power for her use. Due to her nature in where she had consumed incalculable people, she found she could access a whole multitude of dimensions, each just beckoning for her and so, she connected with all of them. Suddenly, her magic became so vast even Strange had to take a few steps back, his entire body breaking into sweat.

"Holy Shit!" Alex cried out with a laugh of glee. She did not expect consuming Strange would lead her to discover this kind of power! She then turned towards the two sorcerers that were building their courage to face her.

"We'll meet again, Strange, one point or the the other," she said and waved her left hand. The two suddenly found themselves in the middle of an ocean with no sling rings. "Time to reset the timeline."

She out down a reset charge and activated it before taking her TemPad and keying in her destination. A time door opened before her and she walked through just as the timeline started been reset.
