2 Removing Pieces Of The Board

A police cruiser weaved through the traffic as the sirens blared, making the vehicles move out of the way. Alex was having fun riding the vehicle and even more fun seeing the civilians just part way for her. She did not even stop for a red light, something that she would never dare in her previous life.

"I can abuse this power anytime of the day, anyway I want," she laughed. She then saw the building she had to get to. "Well, all things must come to an end I guess. This is where Shaun Chi works, huh?"

She stopped the cruiser in front of the hotel, gaining the attention of everyone. Slowly, she got out as she adjusted her own aura. Shang Chi was a very good martial artist and thus, she reasoned he would be very good at reading someone. She came off as an average cop even to the civilian eyes. Her eyes locked on Shang Chi and she nodded.

"Are you Shaun Chi?" she asked in an authoritative voice.

"Yes," Shang Chi answered with a frown.

"Do you mind coming to the station with me?" she offered kindly. Shang Cgi looked at her with a frown, trying to think why she would be after him.

"Did I do something wrong?" he asked. Alex could see he was ready to start fleeing if she mentioned something he would be suspicious about.

"A suspect mentioned you by name so we need to ask you some questions down at the station," Alex answered. She came off as truthful so Shang Chi lowered his guard slightly. "Come with me."

Shang Chi put his hands up, surrendering. Alex put the cuffs on him, smiling predatory when she did that then led him to the back of the car. Once he was secured, she got on the driver's seat and started driving. Shang Chi immediately noticed that they were not going to the police station.

"So, what did this suspect do to get arrested?" he asked.

"Oh, there is no suspect. I just wanted to put cuffs on you," she answered with a small smirk. Shang Chi frowned as he tried to pick the lock only he could not find a lock. "I can kill you a hundred different ways at the moment but I'll take the higher road and let you fight for your life."

"Did my father send you?" Shang Chi asked.

"Your father? Why the fuck would I take a job from him? I want to kill you because you have been trained by the best martial artist in the world. Out of all his flaws, your father certainly did his best in making sure his son can hold a candle to his legacy," she answered looking at him through the rear view mirror.

"You want to have the honor of killing me?"

"Why would that be an honor? I just want to kill you for those martial arts in your head. Once I have them, I'll become an even more accomplished fighter," she answered him. She then transformed back to her normal form, causing Shang Chi to try and jump back in shock. His well trained instincts kicked in as Alex unleashed her predatory aura. Shang Chi lay horizontally on the backseat and used both his legs to kick the left door, sending it flying off.

"C'mon, don't make this into a chase, I just had my meal!" Alex groaned in frustration as Shang Chi jumped out of the car, rolling on the road before springing back to his feet. Alex stopped the car and got out, looking at her fleeing meal.

"Really!" she sighed before she shot out her left hand. It stretched towards Shang Chi, her fingers turning into a needle that hit Shang Chi on his left leg. The Asian man felt the entire leg get paralysed immediately, making him fall and sprawl on the ground. Alex approached him, shaking her head.

"See what you made me do? I wanted to give you a chance, fight for your life! Why the fuck did you run?" she asked in frustration, giving him a kick that sent him flying into a building, breaking a concrete wall in the process. Shang Chi felt his entire body was in pain as he coughed out blood. He tried to get up but his entire body just refused to get up. Alex walked in through the hole in the wall while the people outside were filming the entire thing.

"Who are you?" Shang Chi managed to say.

"I was called a different name before I got here. But I adapted the name Alex Mercer, the original Prototype," she answered. "And it's time for you to join me."

The cuffs on his hands suddenly came alive, turning into goo that started engulfing his entire body. He felt the worst pain in his life as the Blacklight virus got into his system and started eating him up, assimilating with his DNA and the energy that his father had taught him to harness, inner chi. The energy tried to fight for him life but the Blacklight virus was just like nothing like anything the world has ever seen, leeching off on the energy and assimilating it too. In just a minute, Shang Chi had become biomass for Alex.

"That was exhilarating!" Alex moaned as she received Shang Chi's memories. His skills and experiences were now flowing in her body, bringing her entire level of danger to a whole new level! "That energy was fucking tasty! I bet you those The Hand cocksuckers have even more of that energy. I'm already drooling thinking about the Iron Fist. Now that I think about it, Hulk, Thor and the Asgardians sound like a perfect meal plan! Let's not even talk about the Eternals! Shit, I might have a stomachache with l these meals!"

Alex could just imagine how her body will react to Hulk and his radiated mutation. Sure, the MCU Hulk was not as powerful as the comics, but his blood was just as valuable. The Blacklight virus evolves constantly in order to become more powerful so Hulk's blood would be like the needed tonic to become an entity of a whole new level.

Asgardians might be powerful but they were not as tasty as Thor or Odin! Odin had the Odin force, a power with no equal that made him fight against Celestials. He won a realm war because of it and soon,it would be hers. Just imagining what she can accomplish with all that power made he grin like a psychopath. Add the Celestial growing inside Earth and she would become a force to be reckoned with. But the one person who stands in her way was the Ancient One!

"That old coot must be amassing her army at the moment. She is biding her time but so am I. Let's start by taking out a piece out of her board!" she said and grinned. She walked out of the hole in the wall and headed to the police cruiser.

She typed in her address and smirked when the navigation showed her the way. She turned the car and sirens on then raced towards the New York Hospital. She sent out a viral sonar and immediately sensed the location of Dr Stephen Strange.

"Hahaha!" she laughed when she saw three sorcerers appear in the middle of the road in a sling portal. They started making a spell construct only she wasn't stupid enough to give them time.

She shot out of the car through the windshield as her hands turned into three giant tendrils that shot to the three sorcerers, impaling them through their stomach and they became part of the biomass.

"Haaa!" she breathed in pleasure as she she felt the energy in them fall into her body. A sling ring appeared on her left arm and she waved her right in a circular motion. A golden ring appeared in front of her showing Dr Strange in the middle of performing surgery. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at her in shock.

"What was that?" Strange asked in shock and fascination. He had a curious mind and his inner talent or calling towards the mystics made him uncontrollably so at the moment.

"Your first and last sight at seeing real magic," she answered and in a second, she had hoisted the man over her head and smashed him onto the floor before stomping on his head, killing him in an instant. Thus, Stephen Strange became part of the biomass and with him, Alex became capable of becoming a Sorcerer Supreme!
