Chapter 90: Semi perfect Cell

Moments before...

Cell landed slowly on the grass, that attack from Gohan had sent him quite far but it didn't do any damage, "Damn kid"

He looked everywhere and saw him nowhere, nor did he feel the life energy from him. And the androids weren't around either.

"Tsk, that technique was to distract me and gain time, I've never seen anything like it" Cell remembered the boy's technique, "Where did you learn it?!"

Cell shook his head, although Gohan's power went beyond what was expected, he now had to find the androids to absorb them.

"They left with Son Gohan, where did he take them?" the monster wondered without feeling the little boy's Ki, "Maybe to another planet? I doubt it"

Cell put his hand to his chin, thinking about how he could find them. They were androids, made by Doctor Gero... sure, it was this!

"They won't get away from me!" Cell yelled flying at full speed with a big smile. He had found a way to find the androids.

He crossed half the planet until he reached a mountainous area between the forests. He stopped in front of a massive metal door into a cave.

"Destructo Disk" Cell threw a Ki Disc and split the door in two. Once that was done, he entered. He had accessed Gero's lab, he had a plan.

Cell started walking through the lab and stopped in front of a computer. He pressed a button and the machine's screen suddenly lit up.

What he intended to achieve Cell was to locate the androids through the microchips they had incorporated since in the end they were androids.

"Perfect, so there they are" Cell commented with a smile, "I won't go now, I have to reach a greater power than I already have"

He didn't want any more surprises from Gohan, but luckily the northern capital was located next door and had many inhabitants.

"Get ready androids... and enjoy your last hours of life" Cell commented ready to leave the laboratory. Everything was ready.

Gohan prepared the Instant Transmission, but immediately remembered that both Bulma and her family were still in Capsule Corporation.

'Damn,' Gohan thought, using the technique to appear where Bulma and her parents were, grab their hands, and then return to the courtyard.

They quickly disappeared from that place and then Cell expelled all the power from him, completely erasing the western capital in no time.

Now his features looked more defined and as expected his powers increased fantastically. No one was comparable to Cell.

"So... this feels like being one step away from perfection?" Cell commented opening and closing his palm, "You won't escape me, 18"

Then Cell flew up, everything was turning out much better than he thought, not even Gohan would be able to stop his purpose.

Goku stepped back restlessly, never before had he felt such a high Ki. Raditz was the same, and the rest, like Krillin or Tien, were silent.

"Th-that monster... increased his powers unimaginably" Raditz muttered clenching his fists, "Where's Gohan!?"

"Not only that, he destroyed the western city without leaving a trace. All those innocent people died" Goku muttered clenching his fists.

Goku turned around and saw that the time room was still locked. Vegeta and Nappa should be leaving in exactly three hours, that was a long time.

"I-is the situation that bad?" Yamcha snapped in disbelief at what was happening, "Damn, what can we do to beat that monster?"

And just as Yamcha finished speaking, Gohan appeared at Kami's temple along with Androids 16 and 18, with Bulma's family.

"Gohan! It's a good thing you're all fine" Krillin exclaimed smiling, but he saw that the boy's face was quite serious and frowning.

"And?" Raditz looked at his nephew.

"Cell used the freeze time ability, and absorbed 17 of them, I-I couldn't do anything" Gohan replied clenching his fists very helpless from him.

"The technique of that member of the Ginyu forces!" Krillin exclaimed in astonishment and Gohan nodded.

"Whose cells doesn't that damn beast have?" Raditz muttered with a vein on his forehead, "Hmp, don't blame yourself kid, you did what you could."

Raditz understood that perhaps his nephew could feel guilty for not having finished off Cell, but Gohan wasn't responsible for the situation.

"Vegeta is still inside, as soon as he comes out you'll go in" Goku intervened smiling but Gohan quickly denied, "Why not? You can beat him"

"I'll train somewhere else to win time" Gohan stated with a smile and turned to 18, "Come with me! So Cell won't absorb you"

"W-what do you say?" 18 looked at him confused, much more than she already was, "N-no, I'll stay here, in this place. What does it matter if I get absorbed in?!"

Seeing that her brother was absorbed and that Cell was now invincible, she was too confused right now to decide.

"18 why..." Gohan muttered not understanding his decision until suddenly he felt a very high Ki coming from a corner of the palace.

"I-could it be... impossible!" Raditz turned around in alarm and his eyes widened when he saw the owner of that power. The prince of the Saiyan race.

"I see you've been doing pretty badly without me, you bug pair," Vegeta introduced himself with a smile as Nappa walked along with him.

But they looked different. The prince was transformed into a Super Saiyan but with a normal face. Nappa had the blond mustache.

'They've controlled the Super Saiyan, it seems that Vegeta finally followed my advice' Gohan mused smiling, maybe he could beat Cell.

"Nappa...did you turned into a Super Saiyan?" Raditz asked quite surprised.

"Did you think a great warrior like me couldn't reach it? Don't be naive, Raditz" Nappa mocked, laughing at that.

"It just... it sounded crazy" Yamcha pronounced perplexed and Krillin suppressed his laughter at the irony present in Yamcha's comment.

"Oh you're here woman" Vegeta looked at Bulma.

"And why shouldn't it be?" Bulma raised an eyebrow with her arms crossed, and Goku intervened.

"Vegeta, do you think you'll be able to defeat Cell?" Goku asked seriously and Vegeta stared at him seriously, but then smiled.

"I sensed his Ki as he left the room, he's just a bug" Vegeta commented crossing his arms, "Is there anything I should know before killing him?"

"He can stop time, just like Guldo" Gohan replied and Vegeta heard this somewhat surprised, "And be careful with his techniques"

"I know, brat, as soon as I'm done with Cell we'll settle accounts" Vegeta turned his back on him with a smile, and immediately rose into the air.

Nappa followed him, and soon caught up with him. And Raditz was still surprised by the power of the two of them, "Kakarot, we should go inside"

"Yes" Goku nodded seriously and turned to Gohan, "Everything will be fine, I assure you we will win"

"Of course I do" Gohan gave him a thumbs up smile and turned his head seeing that 18 was in a corner with his head bowed, "18..."

"Good luck" 18 smirked through his confusion and Gohan swallowed before teleporting away, wasting no time.

Cell was flying over a barren desert. It only remained to find android 18 to complete his process of perfection.

"There is no rush, there is no one in the universe capable of matching my power!" Cell exclaimed arrogantly, letting out a loud laugh.

"Sure you, puny lizard?!"

Cell stopped short when Prince Vegeta suddenly appeared in front of him with his arms folded. Behind him was Nappa.

"Oh Vegeta, I thought you decided to stop fighting after being defeated by an attack" Cell sneered with a pretentious laugh.

"You can mock all you want Cell! It will be the only thing you can do today" Vegeta laughed in turn causing Cell annoyance for his mockery.

"What makes you think it won't end like last time?" asked the monster hoping to know the reason for the saiyan's confidence.

"Simple, do you see this?" Vegeta raised his right fist to him with a smile and Cell looked at him curiously not knowing what he was getting at.

"COUGH!"

Cell spat out blood when suddenly the prince's fist crashed into his stomach causing sharp pain.

"I don't think you saw it" Vegeta said with a smile, "No one makes fun of the prince of the Saiyans, I hope that's clear to you insect"

Cell looked up meeting Vegeta's upper eyes and returned to expel another mouthful of blood. This was unexpected!
