62 Chapter 62: Revenge

Vegeta growled before quickly launching himself at Nappa, who gritted his teeth, parrying the saiyan's blow with his right forearm.

They were both training under 300 times increased gravity. They had been like this for ten months and their powers had increased unbelievably.

It took Nappa a while to get used to it but at this point he reached Vegeta's level, although the prince was still above the older Saiyan.

Suddenly, Vegeta stepped back. He closed his eyes and went to the gravity machine to turn it off, which surprised Nappa as he wanted to continue.

"But why did you do it Vegeta? Aren't you going to continue?" Nappa asked as Vegeta wiped the sweat from his face.

"With my current strength neither Kakarot nor much less Raditz would be able to beat me, but that brat is now a Super Saiyan"

"He had incredible power when he fought Frieza. Even though I have overcome the other bugs, he's my biggest obstacle!" yelled the prince, annoyed.

He had trained hard to outdo him, but even now Gohan was still training on another planet. It was infuriating!

"So what? You are Vegeta, the prince of the Saiyans, born with outstanding talent among the highest class of saiyan!" Nappa exclaimed looking at him.

Vegeta gave him a sidelong glance, but Nappa continued. "If that low class kid could become a Super Saiyan, you should be able too Vegeta"

The saiyan smiled upon hearing those words so pleasant to hear. "You're right, after all I belong to the elite class of Saiyans"

"That's right, no lower-class soldier could outmatch us. When I meet that kid I'll prove it to him!" Nappa exclaimed smiling.

Vegeta didn't say any more, he went to the control panel and began to enter some coordinates that caught the attention of Nappa who approached.

"One of Frieza's planets? For what?" Nappa asked not understanding what Vegeta was doing.

"To change my armor and acquire spare ones" replied the prince, "Besides, I want to see that place now that the stupid Frieza died"

"I see, it will be a good warm-up!" Nappa clenched his knuckles with a wild smile on his face. He really needed to stretch a bit.

After a couple of days wandering the cosmos, they landed on planet 79 of Frieza.

The prince got up from his seat, although for some reason he felt an immeasurable power in the place but that didn't make any kind of sense.

"Well Nappa, it's time to visit some friends" Vegeta commented with a smirk filled with derision.

"We forgot to bring them any gifts haha" Nappa accompanied the joke with laughter as Vegeta pressed the button to open the door.

They didn't wait long, though, as the door opened instantly. Vegeta got off first but there was something that terrified him.

"Vegeta?"

That voice so familiar to him made him turn around suddenly and he saw Gohan extremely surprised by his presence on this planet.

"What are you doing in this place?!" demanded the prince approaching him while Nappa followed him. Also quite puzzled.

"Well, you see, since I defeated Frieza I have taken over his empire, if you want you can work for me" Gohan commented smiling.

"Don't talk nonsense dwarf!" Nappa rebuked.

"The dwarf is who you have next to you, have more respect!" Gohan said with a dramatic gesture, "But leaving the jokes, what do you want here?"

The soldiers began to approach curiously and were surprised to see Vegeta.

Vegeta scrutinized him silently, noting the strange clothing Gohan was wearing. Also, he felt that his power increased but not that much.

"I was looking for a new armor but I found you, this is perfect!" Vegeta exclaimed, clenching his fists with a huge grin.

"What are you talking about?" Gohan asked him.

"I'll show you which of us is the true Super Saiyan! Let's finish what we started on Earth!" Vegeta replied.

Suddenly, he raised his Ki to an extraordinary level making the whole place tremble. Nappa took a few steps back and the terrified soldiers, too.

"Wow, your power is great" Gohan declared surprised, "I see that you trained very hard after the battle on Namek, that is good"

He meant it since he hadn't trained his power base. If he became stronger he was after balancing his body and his spirit.

But Vegeta managed to get stronger with arduous training. Although of course, then he wouldn't greatly increase the base power.

"Shut up! I don't need your compliments!" Vegeta exclaimed and lunged at the saiyan hybrid.

Flush!

The prince quickly flew towards Gohan to punch him in the face but suddenly little Son disappeared from his field of vision.

"Where are you brat?!" Vegeta exclaimed looking around and Nappa noticed that Gohan was behind Vegeta.

"Behind you Vegeta!"

The aforementioned turned quickly noticing that Gohan was really behind him with his arms crossed, with no intention of attacking him.

"Your speed is amazing too" Gohan stated smiling and Vegeta growled angrily.

"I already told you to shut up!" Vegeta yelled, lunging at him but unable to land any blows on his opponent, "Damn you!"

Flush!

Punches, kicks, knees, everything Vegeta tried ended up frustrated by Gohan.

"Because of you I lowered myself to receive a gift of power... and you even saved my life twice! I won't forgive you!" Vegeta cried.

Gohan continued to dodge easily, but he sensed quite a bit of frustration building up in Vegeta's words… the prince of his race.

"You hurt my pride on Earth by being able to take on me, and on Namek you surpassed me by going Super Saiyan!" Vegeta said.

'His power is increasing' Gohan inquired noticing the increase of energy in his opponent, 'I see, this will be entertaining!'

'The power difference is abysmal, and that brat doesn't seem to be using his full strength' Nappa looked at the fight in exasperation.

He was already tired of being a spectator. And besides, he had to take revenge on the brat for the excessive humiliation he received on Earth.

"HAAA!" Nappa shouted throwing himself at the little boy, who was surprised, "Don't think I forgot our battle and how you beat me!"

'Nappa is also much stronger, I guess he took more than one Zenkai to catch up with Vegeta' Gohan inquired as he dodged.

Vegeta glared at Nappa rather annoyed, but he was too enraged to berate him for meddling in his fight.

So, the two elite Saiyans began to fight as a team but in an uncoordinated way.

On the other hand, the soldiers were watching the battle, more and more certain that their new Lord was the one to rule them.

"It seems that our new Emperor is really powerful, they can't touch him" declared a soldier quite surprised.

"Although he is a child, I think he is actually capable of leading us, he has shown great power and coldness" another being added and several nodded.

Vegeta landed a blow that Gohan blocked with his hand. "Well, you finally hit. Now now is my turn!"

PAM!

Gohan slammed a punch into Vegeta's cheek sending him into some rocks and kicked Nappa's chin sending him next to the prince.

"Damit" Vegeta yelled getting up quickly as Gohan rose to the sky with a smile. Nappa also followed them.

Once Gohan got far enough away from the empire facility, he extended both of his arms towards the two Saiyans, "Double Sunday!"

He called out the name of his uncle's technique. Then, two energy blasts came out of his hands flying in the direction of Vegeta and Nappa.

"How?!" Nappa yelled in surprise and tried to stop the attack, but it was too powerful for him to stop, 'This brat!'

Vegeta was in the same state, and even with his power maxed out he was unable to block such a powerful blast of energy.

So, both gave in and ended up accepting the attack with resignation. Their bodies were thrown to the ground.

PUM!

PUM!

Two large craters were created in the area and in them were the two Saiyans. Gohan landed slowly and walked towards the two of them.

"Argh!" Vegeta scrambled to his feet as his body was riddled with wounds, "I-I'm s-still alive, you miserable bug!"

"It was never my intention to hurt your pride Vegeta, but if you want to end this I won't object to it" Gohan commented seriously.

His hair stood on end and turned a whitish-blond color. His eyes were turquoise blue but Vegeta noticed something different this time.

"OBEY ME"

He remembered Gohan's angry voice on Namek. But this time the boy seemed calmer, as if he wasn't a Super Saiyan.

"Th-is that the Super Saiyan?" Nappa asked surprised, not only by the change in appearance but by the shocking power he expelled.

Vegeta gritted his teeth helplessly as he found himself unable to achieve that state. He fell to his knees in resignation and from his injuries.

Gohan extended his hand creating a white sphere surrounded by black lightning and aimed it at Vegeta's face, who lowered his shoulders.

'Am I going to be killed... by a Super Saiyan?' Vegeta wondered, but he felt that it would probably be an acceptable death.

The Yin-Yang blast before his face began to grow larger. Nappa watched this with annoyance, why didn't Vegeta react?

"What the hell are you doing Vegeta? Since when do you lower your head to someone?" Nappa scolded him with an annoyed look.

Vegeta looked up in surprise.

"You are the prince of the Saiyans, show him the power of royalty!" Nappa yelled, clenching his fists and Gohan smiled.

"What's the use of being royalty when the lower class Saiyans end up outdoing you?" Gohan asked about to attack Vegeta.

PAM!

And suddenly, Vegeta grabbed his hand quite hard leaving him stunned. Then, he started to get up motivated by Nappa.

"The royal blood of the Saiyans runs through my veins" Vegeta spoke as his eyes lit up. Nappa was dumbfounded.

The ground beneath his feet shattered from the display of power that was taking place right now before everyone's eyes.

"I-I don't care if you're a Super Saiyan... I-I'll beat you, did you hear me kid? I'll beat you here and now... BECAUSE I'M PRINCE VEGETA!"

With that shout, Vegeta's hair turned yellow as well as his aura. His eyes turned blue and were filled with Saiyan pride.

Gohan backed away rather surprised by that and banished the energy ball from him. Nappa was in the same state as him but more surprised.

"Now the real fight begins, Gohan!" Vegeta pointed out with a smile as the Super Saiyan aura glowed around him.
