42 Chapter 42: Frieza

Piccolo didn't know what to think. First, that fat old man had told them to tell a joke... and now to catch a monkey?

He decided not to waste time, so he sat under a tree to meditate. The gravity here was the same as in the hyperbolic time chamber.

"Wait! I'm going to catch you now!" Yamcha yelled as he went after the monkey. Piccolo grunted with his arms crossed and got up from the ground.

He walked over to King Kai, who was sitting quietly drinking tea and watching Yamcha trying to catch Bubbles.

"Kai, I want to know how Gohan is doing on Namek" Piccolo commented looking at the deity, who frowned upon hearing this.

"I told you before to have more respect for me" King Kai muttered and his antennae straightened up at once, which alerted Piccolo, "Let's see"

So, King Kai began to search the planet Namek and when he did the cup of tea fell from his hands. Piccolo widened his eyes.

"F-Frieza... Wh-what the hell is Frieza doing there?!" yelled the god clenching his fists helplessly, "Damn... we're finished!"

"Who is this Frieza or whatever his name is?" Piccolo inquired with his arms crossed, 'If he makes you tremble then he has to be powerful'

"Frieza is a tyrant who has conquered numerous planets, his power and evil have no limits!" King Kai replied looking at him.

Piccolo was going to say something but then he remembered something Gohan had said to him while they were training in the hyperbolic time chamber, something extremely crucial.

"Raditz told us that the Saiyans sold planets to the highest bidder, what if that bidder is even stronger than them? That... would be very bad"

That was what Gohan told him at the time, was that guy Frieza? He didn't know what to think about all that, his mind was blank.

"Goku's son is in danger! I have to warn him so that he doesn't get involved in Frieza's plans" indicated the deity standing up.

King Kai moved his antennae to track Gohan's location and when he found him, he lost his body balance and ended up on the grass.

"H-how is it p-possible that Goku's son has become so powerful in just a week? No, this doesn't make sense!" King Kai mused.

"What do you mean? How powerful has Gohan become after his training?" Piccolo asked curiously going towards the deity.

"I would say that he is about eighty times stronger than he was on Earth, I wonder what happened" said King Kai without understanding anything.

He only saw his training once, and was surprised to see him using the Kaio-ken easily, but his current power had risen quite absurdly.

"Did you say eighty times?!" Piccolo yelled, clenching his fists, he couldn't stay behind, "Kai, you must train me! Don't waste time!"

"Hehehe I see that now you are willing to be trained Piccolo" King Kai chuckled adjusting his glasses, "Well, catch Bubbles!"

Piccolo glared at him with an angry streak, but if he wanted to bridge the gap between him and Gohan he would have to. He set out to catch that monkey.

"I knew that in the end he would, and on the other hand…" King Kai's face turned serious, "I hope Gohan doesn't do anything thoughtless against Frieza"

While it was true that Gohan's power was incredible, Frieza was a monster. Provoking his wrath would be a terrifying thing for the entire universe.

Gohan was still reading, but this time he was on the ground outside the Guru's house and Dende was next to him watching him curiously.

That big rock rose making the ground tremble slightly, but suddenly something alerted Gohan's five senses and he lost concentration.

"Frieza is landing" Gohan mumbled getting up from the ground, "Everyone hide your Ki so our enemies don't find us!"

"Pay attention to him!" Moori supported the minor and immediately all the Namekians inside and outside the house did what the young boy said.

"What you plan to do" Nail inquired looking at Gohan, while Dende hid behind him in fear, "He has an unimaginable energy"

"I'll wait for him to make the first move, there's no point in rushing" Gohan stated crossing his arms as he thought about something.

He wanted to eliminate Frieza's empire, but being rash would bring no good even if his base power surpassed Frieza's without transforming.

With the Kaiō-ken he would have no problem with Frieza's transformations, except for the last one. However, there was something to keep in mind...

Frieza was a damn monster, in canon he survived a Spirit Bomb, a Super Saiyan Goku and the explosion of Namek and his three suns.

'Unless I catch him off guard, it'll be impossible if I don't increase my power' Gohan thought, spinning around, 'There's something crucial!'

Frieza's ship had a recovery chamber with a magic liquid, it would be amazing if they had that on Earth!

'I have to find a way to get Frieza out of his ship, I also have to attract the Ginyu forces!' he thought clapping his hands.

If he wanted to wipe out Frieza's army, he would do it at once. Although well... King Cold was also part of that equation, Cooler perhaps?

Frieza looked at the vast esplanade of planet Namek with a smile. The time had finally come to ask the dragon balls for eternal life.

"That's weird... I don't detect any energy" said a man looking at his scouter behind Frieza's seat, he was soldier Zarbon, "It's very strange"

"The namekians don't have a high power, tell some men to go explore the surroundings" the evil emperor ruled and Zarbon noded.
