"The only one now who can stop that guy is Granola," Goku commented, stepping back, "Not even Gogeta could beat this guy."

"I know, you fool!" Vegeta growled in annoyance.

Gas backed away from Granola's attack, and created a pair of axes in his hands.

Granola noticed this and jumped instantly, floating in the air as he aimed at Gas.

The Cerelian fired several energy lasers and Gas created a shield around him, "Weakling!"

Gas threw the two axes and Granola, spinning like a propeller, dodged them, before flying against his enemy, but Gas's axes were after him.

"Be careful!" Goku warned Granola.

Granola ignored that warning and continued flying against Gas, until he moved away at the last moment and the axes continued.

Gas dodged one but received another one in his face, being knocked to the ground by his own axe.

"That was very clever" Bardock applauded.

Granola didn't stop then, he raised both hands to the sky and charged a large ball of energy at Gas. "Die already!" the Cerelian threw it.

Gas came to his senses and standing up he saw the large sphere of energy that was going against him, "That won't be enough to defeat me!" the villain shouted.

Gas spread his arms. The attack came closer, but he stopped it, sinking his legs into the ground.

Granola sent out more Ki, crushing Gas even more, but the latter still had a lot to give.

He expelled more energy and the energy ball rose, already returning to Granola, "This is yours!"

Granola opened his eyes quite stunned, his body was no longer responding because he was exhausted.

'I can't let this end here and now! Everything I suffered, the desire, my revenge'

'It will all have been in vain!'

Granola closed her eyes in exhaustion, but just suddenly felt his body revitalized, "How?"

"Do it!" Goku shouted with his arm outstretched.

Goku was sending him his energy, and as soon as the rest saw that, they did the same.

"This is your fight brat, you must win it!" Bardock was also sending out energy from him.

"I'll give you some of my pride so you can win" even Vegeta participated, albeit reluctantly.

Granola looked at this very surprised, and that filled him with determination to win, "HAAAA"

With the energy of his body, Granola pushed the ball of Ki again towards Gas, who saw this perplexed and unable to return it again.

"NOO" Gas shouted receiving the attack.

The sphere made contact with the surface and exploded, making the entire planet resonate.

Granola and the rest were covered in the cloud of smoke that emerged as a result of the explosion.

"He did it!" Goten exclaimed.

Goku, Raditz and Bardock smiled.

Vegeta just smiled sideways, crossing his arms as always, and the Heata brothers blinked. Had Gas been defeated?

Granola fell on one knee, breathing heavily, and Monite went to help him.

"Are you okay?!" the Namekian asked.

"I've been worse" said Granola, smiling.

"I'll cure you now" Monite was going to approach Granola but suddenly a laser pierced his stomach.

"MONITE" Granola screamed in terror at this.

The Cerelian turned to see who it was: it was a Gas who looked like a walking skeleton with hair.

"This is impossible" Goku went pale.

"Yeah, I remember that guy was tough to kill" Bardock had flashbacks of his battle against him.

"Did you think that with that trash attack you would beat me? I'm the most powerful in the universe!" Gas exclaimed, extending his pair of arms.

"That's me, Gohan" a voice rang out.

Suddenly, a rather injured Gohan landed in front of Granola and in front of Gas, "Again?"

"No, it's the last time" Gohan said confidently.

"YES! I knew my brother would come back!" Goten was jumping with happiness, "He's going to win!"

A brother's faith was unbreakable, Goten, despite what he heard, always believed in Gohan.

"That boy always gives one or another surprise," Raditz smiled, "But I feel his Ki is very weakened."

"He looks like he's come straight from the battle, but he seems very confident," Goku commented.

"Come out! This is my fight" Granola declared.

"I'm coming for revenge" Gohan responded.

"Both of you fight, the result will be the same" Gas was smiling at his skeletal face.

"Okay" Gohan put a hand on the ground.

And then, a dome appeared around the four of them. Everything turned white.

"W-what?" Gas looked very confused.

"You can say that it is my world, another dimension, where time flows as I please"

"Right now, time is going fifty times faster than normal"

"You know what it means?" Gohan asked.

"That you will die faster" Gas replied.

"Almost, but the one who will die the fastest is you. Look at you" Gohan responded pointing to his face.

He confusedly looked at his reflection on the white floor. Feeling so terrified, Gas fell to his knees.

"W-what h-happened to me?" he asked.

"You became the strongest in the universe, but at what cost? You sold what was left of your life"

"Or well, they sold. Your brother betrayed you by selling your life behind your back" Gohan spoke.

"E-Elec...why" Gas touched his face.

"You were another victim of Elec, as well as Granola's mother. You two, you should not fight because you are nothing more than victims" said Gohan.

Granola was stumped. His life was also shortening, with only three years left.

"Granola, I can help you prevent you from dying" Gohan looked at the Ceresian, "But Gas..."

"It's too late to save you... I'm sorry"

"It doesn't matter... please take care of my brothers"

Gas let out a whisper as the last breaths and moments of his life turned into tears...

Tears on a gray and sad face.

Tears of a meaningless life where the person he trusted most betrayed him.

"I'll take care of them" Gohan said with a smile.

"...Thank you... Gohan" Gas closed his eyes.

And after those last words, Gas turned into cosmic dust and a soft wind carried him away forever, putting an end to the tragedy of his life.
