Seven long years had already passed since the battle against the terrible Cell, time passed and the planet lived a great period of peace and joy.

And for this, humanity forgot their great hero and the one who gave his life for them. But his family and his friends, never.

They all continued with their lives, Tien opened a dojo and Krillin became a policeman. Vegeta spent more time at home. Nappa teased him for it.

Raditz sometimes trained and other times hung out with Raunch. Goku did the same thing with his son Goten, hanging out together.

"The food is ready!" Chi-Chi yelled from the kitchen and hearing no response she turned around.

She saw the emptiness of the room, father and son were there a while ago. Chi-Chi smiled, she had pleasant and happy memories from many years ago.

When Gohan and Goku came home from training, and when they got home they smiled for the food and began to tell anecdotes at the table until they got tired.

The woman shed a tear feeling nostalgic. She looked at a photo in which the three of them were posing, and ran her fingers through it.

But she wiped away that tear. There was no reason to be sad. Goku was spending time with his son. Gohan sure was fine out there.

"Haaa!" a boy identical to Goku yelled, kicking him into the air. This was Goten, the second son and the youngest of the Son family.

Goku stopped the kick with his hand and at that moment he disappeared as if by magic. Goten looked everywhere and couldn't see him.

"Dad where are you?" the boy asked.

But instantly Goten felt a Ki, simply turning his father swept his legs loosely throwing the boy to the ground effortlessly.

"Wow, looks like you still need to improve your Ki perception" Goku commented with a big smile and Goten frowned, "What's up?"

"You told me that my brother Gohan beat a monster when he was this age, I'm not as strong as him" Goten said sounding sad.

Goten admired his older brother a lot, he had heard stories about him and he had him as a myth, a legend; he was practically his hero.

"But those were other times, Gohan had to train a lot because dangers appeared every so often on Earth" Goku answered his son.

"But he was strong" Goten replied.

"You are too, one day you will save the world. But the important thing is to follow your own path and become strong in your own way" the father commented.

Goten nodded strongly. Goku stroked her head smiling. He knew that Goten wanted to be what his big older brother, Gohan, had been.

"Since when do you give good advice?" a voice was present and Goku smiled as he turned around. It was his brother Raditz, who came with his family.

"Uncle Raditz! Aunt Launch!" Goten exclaimed running up and Raditz stroked his hair happily.

"Hi Goten, you've grown quite a bit since last time!" Blue haired Launch declared happily.

"He's an exact copy of Kakarot and our father" commented Raditz, "Hey, say hi to your cousin"

A girl of about seven who was hiding behind Raditz appeared. She had blonde hair with a bow, "Dwarf"

"H-Hi" Goten smiled nervously.

His cousin with blonde hair was a cruel criminal. He preferred to see her with blue hair.

"I see you've been training" Raditz inspected Goten looking at her scrapes.

"A little hehe, honestly Goten is quite talented" Goku commented ruffling his son's hair, "He just has to work on it"

"Raunch will continue to be stronger" Raditz added proudly, "he is a beast in training, he has an immense thirst to be the strongest"

"Well, as long as Trunks is here, she won't be an insect" Vegeta's voice was present, there she came with Bulma and a smaller Trunks.

"Wow, what a surprise Vegeta! Have you come to visit me?" Goku asked him in a mocking tone.

"Don't be silly, silly. I came because this ins..." Vegeta was going to blurt out something but Bulma gave him a dirty look, "Tsk, I came for her you idiots"

"She's got you tamed, huh Vegeta" Raditz sneered.

"How stupid, you're not the best person to talk about that" Vegeta scolded him while Goku laughed watching that joke scene.

"What are you laughing at, idiot?" Raditz chimed in.

"Hmmm I forgot" Goku scratched his neck leaving everyone with a drop of sweat, "I know! What do you think if we sign them up for the tournament?"

"Tournament?" Vegeta and Raditz asked him.

"It's true now that I think about it! There was a martial arts tournament around this time" Bulma chimed in with her hand to her chin.

"It's a tournament where the best fighters in the world meet and fight to be the best" Goku commented remembering his epic fights.

"Dad I want to fight!" Trunks exclaimed.

"A tournament...fine, but don't even think about losing" Vegeta replied with his arms crossed.

"I'm saying the same to you Raunch, you must win" Raditz pointed to his daughter, who nodded fervently at the idea since she was excited to win.

"I will win the tournament!" Goten raised his arm.

"Don't dream of it, dwarf" Raunch stuck her tongue out at him mockingly. She at this point was stronger than Goten. She had no reason to envy Trunks.

"We should sign up, eh, at least to stretch our muscles" commented Raditz smiling.

"Oh, do you want to be humiliated by me that much?" Vegeta answered him with an arrogant tone.

"Tell me, who was humiliated by a five year old brat, by Frieza and by Cell? Ah yes, the prince of Saiyans Vegeta" Raditz snapped.

"I support him, the truth is I would like to win the tournament again" Goku declared very enthusiastically. He was a fan of tournaments.

"Hum. So you've already won it once, bug."

"Against me years ago, but this time I'll be the one to win" Piccolo declared from the shade of a tree, "I'll also participate in that tournament"

"Perfect! We should call Krillin, Tien and Nappa to fight too" Goku stated.

"Hmpf, that tournament will be won by the royal family"

"Hehe we'll see about that, I wish Gohan was here to sign up for the tournament" Goku smiled wistfully. Gohan would have loved to be.

"Yes I am" a voice sounded behind everyone and when they turned around they saw a tall young man who was familiar to all because of his facial features, "I'm in!"

He was none other than Gohan! He's back!
