2 Chapter 2

The guard started running towards KT with a sword he'd enchanted not long ago. KT, thinking that she was seen stealing, decided the best course of action was to electrocute him and run, KT tried to use her kana but it didn't work. All that happened was a couple of sparks, that ended up lighting a barrel that was close to a stall

The magic in this world is called "kana" the amount of kana you have is strongly affected by your health and your mental state, for example if you are sick or injured you will probably not be able to perform any high or middle class enchantments. All spells are divided into three classes, high class kana which use a lot of energy and most people aren't able to perform them, middle class kana, mostly anyone with the tiniest of education on kana will probably be able to do these spells with ease then there is low class kana which everyone and anyone that isn't dead can make these spells. One of the more popular low class spells is enchanting weapons.

DAMIT I SHOULD HAVE STOLE SOMETHING TO EAT OR DRINK, She yelled at herself, while deciding to go to the next step of her plan, in the distance she saw a blacksmiths shop and grabbed a bow whilst she was running past. She didn't know whether or not she had enough kana to enchant her bow, but she tried anyways, she held the bow up over her head while she was running and started to cast the spell, seconds later the bow started to light up and spark. She quickly grabbed one of the arrows she grabbed with the bow, turned so she was running backwards and aimed right for the guards head. She shot the arrow and it made a hear-splitting clap that mimicked thunder. She turned back to see if she hit him, and...

THUMP

KT had suddenly hit what seemed like metal or wood, she'd hit her head so hard she couldn't tell the difference. She felt around what she had just run into and soon realised it was a man, wide-eyed she tried running away. KT didn't get very far as she had face planted and fainted on the ground.
