In a black Range Rover on route to Lai Zhiqiang's apartment.

Lai Zhiqiang was seated on the passenger seat of the car, his head resting back on his seat eyes closed. While Lu Lanying drove him back home.

They were on their way back from a business dinner. They had met up with potential business partners at a restaurant and like most business dinners alcohol had been involved.

Ever since the health scare two years ago, Lai Zhiqiang no longer drank but because he had been meeting with Executive Director Gu Jianhong of LINT TV.

A man whose name is synonymous with alcohol, he had been forced to have a few drinks.

"You know Zhiqiang, you didn't have to drink" Lu Lanying finally said as she turned into the intersection before his apartment.

Minutes later they arrived at His apartment building, Lu Lanying parked the car in the reserved spot at the parking lot.

Lai Zhiqiang opened the passenger door and got down from the car. He had just taken a few steps forward when his vision blurred, he slipped and nearly fell on his face.

The previously dark room was lit up with a lacework Happy birthday sign, gold and white glitter and balloons came falling. His entire living room had been transformed into a teenage girl's dream birthday.

At the center of the whole room, next to a white birthday cake stood a slender build pretty young woman with an oval-shaped face, slanted eyes, high cheekbones, and full lips.

She was completely draped out in designer clothes. She held up a small glitter Gun.

"Happy birthday Baby" she shouted smiling wide.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE HAO JIAN!!" Lai Zhiqiang shouted eyes wide and lips thinned.

"umm, Baby. today is your birthday, so I_"

"So you what, came over to host me a birthday party. Who gave you the right to do that."

"Why shouldn't I do that Zhiqiang. I am your girlfriend for Pete's sake. Do I need special permission to give you a surprise birthday party?" She replied throwing the glitter gun aside.

"oh, it's you again. Zhiqiang, why is it her?" Hao Jian asked pointing at Lu Lanying with a wronged expression.
