14 CHAPTER-14

"Where is he? I must be dreaming."she shrugged. She took her phone jumped out of the bed and suddenly noticed something different. "The blanket? I gave to him."she gasped. She moved towards the couch and saw a neatly folded blanket with a handwritten note.

"It's not a dream then."she chuckled. She kept staring at the note and smiled.

"For everything? I didn't do anything. But this note..."she smiled and read the single line again and again. She took a quick shower and slipped into a white t-shirt and ripped jeans with matching white sneakers. She dried her hair hell fast as she finally realized she woke up late.

She grabbed her bag and went to the stairs in a hurry. "Why are you all dressed up? Are you going to Lauren's house?"her mother asked. "Eh? To Lauren's? But why? I'm going to school."she was confused.

"To school? What are you gonna do there? Oh my God!"her mother started to laugh. Sarah was blank. She doesn't know why she is laughing. Her mother looked at her face and laughed again and again.

Finally her laughter  came to an end. Marietta opened her eyes and pinched her softly on Sarah's cheeks. "My baby girl doesn't know today was a holiday."she laughed again. "Shit."she gave a awkward grin and returned to her room.

"I'm on a date.(*whispers)"Lauren chuckled.

"Date huh. Today is gonna be interesting. I must go find her."Sarah grinned.

"You dated Jamie? Did I misheard it?" Sarah's eyes wide open. "Stupid. It's Jamie."she grinned. I was totally surprised by her reply. "No I asked again because I..umm.."Sarah troubled. "Can you say it?"Lauren asked firmly. "Don't take me wrong. I thought you were into Andrew." Sarah murmured.

SHIT. I HAVE TO MAKE UP SOMETHING. WHAT TO SAY? Lauren was struck in the thought.

"Hello?"Sarah waved. Lauren was brought back to senses when she waved her hands. "No not at all. Haha. Why did  you think that way?"Lauren asked mischievously.

"Umm..nothing. So tell me when did you guys find out?"Sarah eyes widened. "Actually it went like-"she narrated.

■FLASHBACK ■

"Lauren?"she heard a voice coming against her. She quickly wiped her tear and glanced up to see who called her. "JAMIE?"she stood and murmured his name.

"Are you okay? You're eyes and nose says you are not okay. What happened? Why are you crying? What's wrong?"his voice was gentle by words. She quickly leaned toward him and hugged him tightly as if she can feel his warmth. "I'm...broken."Lauren cried out.

Jamie sighed for a minute and placed a peck on her lips. She was stunned by his reflex and trembled to utter words. "I LIKE YOU."he blurted out. She fell for him at that instinct. She nodded in agreement. "I like you too."she smiled. She placed her lips on his.

■PRESENT■

"I accepted his proposal."Lauren smiled shyly. "I'm happy for you!" Sarah cried. "I'll find someone for you. What are you saying?" Lauren grinned. "No I'm glad that I have..no one."she smiled. Lauren laughed. "It's okay."

"Sarah your phone."Lauren pointed. Sarah blinked at the phone.

"Andrew?"

"Who's that?" Lauren broke the silence.

"Andrew?"she stated with a expression of shyness.

ANDREW? WHY IS HE OFTEN CALLING HER? HE HAVE A GIRLFRIEND RIGHT? I HAVE TO FIND IT. Lauren was busy with her own thoughts when she noticed Sarah was talking over her phone. Lauren sighed.

"Okay bye."Sarah hanged her phone. She came with a enthusiastic smile that pasted on her face. "Andrew? Don't he have girlfriend?" Lauren shrugged.

Sarah's smile faded at the thought. She also saw him with a girl. She frowned. But a little smile bloomed at the yesterday's sleep over of him with her.

SURE SHE IS HIS GIRLFRIEND? WAIT. WHY I'M FEELING THIS BAD. Sarah frowned. "What are you thinking?"his voice startled her. "Nothing Ben."she tried to act cool.

"She sure has a problem." Lauren from a far distance shouted.

SHOOT LAUREN. Sarah looked at her with a shock. "Hey Ben why don't you join us. We are having a little fun in the nearby club."Lauren asked. She really meant to hook Sarah and Ben.

US? WE? SHE MEANT ME? SHE DIDN'T EVEN ASK ME? Sarah rolled her eyes over her.

Ben eyed at Sarah like he was seeking permission from her. Sarah gave a shy smile and nodded. "Sure Lauren. That's so sweet of you."he gave a little unnoticeable wink at Sarah.

Sarah on the other hand nodded in agreement and gave a fierce look at Lauren.

"Sister? He's calling me that? And who was that whore? She is surely trying to take mine away from her." Sofia growled. "What was that? Who are you shouting at?"he asked sternly.

"Andrew?" she gasped.
