After explaining the rules behind the time turners use, which mainly were don't tell anyone and no being anywhere near your past self, Albus walked Bruce to his common room and said goodbye.

Bruce left all of the books his new teacher gave him behind. He and Albus thought it would cause fewer problems if Bruce stayed in the headmaster's tower whilst using the time turner.

At least for now.

It would cut down the risk of running into his past self and having to explain to those that see his future self outside of class.

The least problems the better.

Especially since Bruce wasn't sure that Albus was actually allowed to let a first-year use a time-turner. He is the Headmaster, but who knows what rules have been set in place by either past Headmasters or the Wizengamot itself.

Time travel is a powerful and dangerous weapon after all.

"Caput Draconis." Bruce said the password to the portrait of the fat lady and the Gryffindor common room door opened.

Inside he saw a bunch of Gryffindor children sitting around on couches next to the fireplace or playing chess off to the side.

"Bruce!" Hermione exclaims with an exasperated look.

"You took long enough..." Ron whines.

"What took you so long, Bruce?" Harry asks as he escapes a few overzealous Gryffindors that were crowding around him.

"Sorry, I'm late. I was talking to the Headmaster about some things. What have you guys been up to?" Bruce asks as he takes a seat away from the other students.

"Well, other than dealing with Harry's fans, we've just been sitting around waiting for you." Hermione says as she turns and gives a scathing look to the group of children that were whispering to each other and staring at poor Harry, who seemed very uncomfortable.

"Sorry guys..." Harry says as his head dips slightly.

"Don't worry about it." Bruce says and waves it off. "Though, It was a surprise to learn you were Harry Potter during the sorting ceremony."

Hearing Bruce's words, Hermione couldn't help but nod in agreement.

"Sorry I didn't tell you..." Harry apologizes once again.

"Stop saying you're sorry. It's not that big a deal." Ron comments.

"You know, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with Ron. Don't worry about it." Hermione says as she pats Harry's shoulder.

Harry looks to Bruce to see if he feels the same and receives a comforting smile and nod.

"It changes nothing, don't worry kid." Bruce says as he stands up and stretches his body. "You guys know where my room is? It's been a long day and I'm tired."

Harry and Ron showed Bruce his room while Hermione retired to the girl's dormitory. It just so happens that he is sharing a room with Harry, Ron, and Neville.

Thankfully, Dean and Seamus must have been moved to another room, or else they would be packed like sardines.

Waiting for Bruce in the dorm were Beira and Cinder, who has already picked out his bed by sleeping comfortably on the pillow.

Checking to make sure he had all of his belongings, Bruce performed his nightly rituals before passing out with Cinder sleeping on his chest.

Not long after falling asleep, Bruce and everyone else in the room woke to the loud ogre-like snoring of Ronald Weasley.

"Oh, Merlin make it stop..." Neville mutters as he wraps a pillow around his ears.

"Uhhh..." Harry groans in annoyance.

"Meow..." Cinder meows pitifully as she covers her ears with her paws.

"Hoot hoot..." Beira wasn't asleep, as she's a nocturnal animal, but she was annoyed as well.

"Silencio." Bruce grabs his wand from the bedside table and shoots a spell at the snoring ginger.

Suddenly, the loud snoring disappears and everyone in the room enjoys the silence before getting back to sleep.

The next morning, Bruce wakes up before everyone else and goes out to do his daily exercises. Most students were asleep still, so the only people that saw Bruce do his exercises were Hogwarts staff.

They watched Bruce run around the Quidditch pitch several times before doing odd exercises they'd never seen before.

Once Bruce was finished and covered in sweat and dirt, he went back to the Gryffindor common room and hit the showers before anyone had woken up.

Returning to his dorm room with a towel covering his lower bits, Bruce was welcomed by a mute Weasley, trying to mime to Harry and Neville, who were both finding it very hard to hold their laughter.

"Hey, what's up?" Bruce says as he walks in and opens his trunk, looking for clothes.

"Bloody hell, how do you look like that?" Neville asks as he sees Bruce's well-defined muscles.

"It's called hard work. If you want, you can follow me in the mornings to exercise, but you'll have to be up on time. I won't wake you though. I'm not your mother." Bruce offers offhandedly as he finds his clothes and starts getting dressed.

Once he was dressed, everyone noticed the mute Ron waving his hands, trying to get everyone's attention.

"Uhh, Bruce. Can you reverse the spell?" Harry asks and Ron points at him and mouths something along the lines of 'He did this to me?!'

"Before I undo the spell, know that it was done because you snore like an obese dragon. Either go to the nurse and get a fix for it, or I'll be silencing you every night." Bruce says with a sigh as he waves his wand, undoing the spell.

Suddenly, the room filled with the yelling of an irate ginger, waking up the children in the nearby dorm rooms.

Ditching Neville to calm Ronald down, Bruce and Harry leave the room sneakily. The poor boy gave them the worst puppy dog eyes as they left, but the two steeled their hearts and for a lack of a better word, dipped.

"Go take a shower and get dressed. We have somewhere to be." Bruce tells Harry as he walks away towards the common room.

"Huh? We don't have classes until Monday. Where are we going." Harry questions.

"To the nurse. You need a check-up!" Bruce says from over his shoulder as he turns the corner, leaving a nervous and unwilling Potter behind.

[DON'T FORGET MY STONES! Or I'll plant a bomb in your spleen. Don't worry, I won't blow it up as long as you give the stones every day until the end of time. The end.]
