16 Birth Of A Brotherhood
My roommates were hugging me and helping me calm down. I didn't prepare for acceptance, I expected fear or disbelief. Never could I have imagined that the two of them would be able to accept me for who I am. Am I a hypocrite? I spoke about accepting their relationship, and yet I doubted their comradery. This is the birth of a true brotherhood! When I looked at them and saw the certainty in their eyes; I felt joy and peace slowly find its way into my heart after so many years of pain and loneliness. Let's have a moment and commemorate our foundation of our brotherhood. "Brothers, you are now my brothers for all of eternity. As The God of Vampires I have the power to make you Progenitors. Will you accept my gift, and stand by my side though the sands of time?" Neither of them hesitated they both said, "We will!". I then repeated the process with Jelia expect I didn't make them swear a blood oath. I wanted their loyalty to be natural. In the future I'll bring up the blood oath, and if they agree to go through with it then I'll know without a shadow of a doubt that they are the truest of allies, and the staunchest of comrades. Our legend shall now grow! The children of darkness shall no longer fear the light if they join me, their God, in our brotherhood called 'Nightblood'.
I'll admit I'm a total full blown chunni. So, when I found out I'm THE God of Vampires, my blood began boiling that first day. I've always dreamed of leading a secret society who defeats evil in the cover of darkness, and the rays of dawn. We fear no evil, for we are the cullers of evil! Let all creatures of evil fear our name, for we shall show no mercy to our enemies. But to our friends, and allies we shall pour down upon them blessing on blessing. It's time to get a hold of Jelia and get the ball rolling. The phone rang only once, and Jelia answered in a cheerful voice. "My God, how may I be of service to you today?" I got right down to business and laid out my plans. Jelia began to laugh mischievously and said, "A secret base? I've already prepared one, and I think you'll like it. Let's meet in person and I'll take you to see it." I immediately felt my excitement hit a climax and told Jelia about my brothers and how they are Progenitors like her. She grew even more enthusiastic, and told me a driver would be on the way to get us. I hung up the phone and looked at Yusuke and Shinji. There was a fire burning in their eyes, and I knew in that moment that I'd made a great choice with these two. Now, let's get going.
We're now waiting patiently at the gate to the school, and suddenly a glistening golden Hummer stretch limo with diamonds all over the rims pulled up. Someone got out of the front passenger seat and opened the door for us. We boarded, and saw Jelia sitting there with three of the goblets that she served me blood in before, and she passed us each one. Then Jelia grabbed an archaic looking wine bottle, and poured some drink in each of our goblets. This was obviously fresh and hot blood. Lastly, she poured herself a glass and looked at me with eyes full of devotion and began to speak.
"For many millennia I have reigned as the so called Queen of Vampires. However, not a day went by where I did not long for our God to descend and lead us in all his glory. I lived to serve you and at last my most fervent desire has been realized. When I founded my company 15 years ago, the first thing I did was build a most glorious and massive secret base for you my God. Over the years since, I've constantly had my court recruit the most noble and righteous of vampires for your service. No malicious and scheming kin will ever enter your presence. The best craftsman, and artisans have painstakingly worked on your throne room and the rest of your palace under ground these years. Your secret underground base currently spans half of the city of Tokyo, and will only grow larger over time. It is my wish to start your mighty empire by conquering Tokyo. Please accept this gift from your humble servant."
We have arrived at Mooncrown Talent Agency, and are currently taking the elevator down to the basement floor. When we got out on the basement floor, Jelia led us over to an unassuming hallway that stops with a dead end and brick wall. Jelia suddenly began to chant. "Blood calls, and blood enthralls. May the blood of the Almighty God open the way!" Jelia then took my hand and looked at me shyly. I knew what she wanted, so I quickly summoned my swordwhip and sliced open my palm. Jelia then walked me up to the brick wall, and placed my palm in the center. Suddenly, the brick wall shimmered and was replaced by a pitch black door made of black marble. There was an ancient looking magic seal in the middle, and I knew what to do. So, obviously I put my cut palm on the seal and smeared my blood on it. The magic symbols began to glow golden and rapidly spun around before I heard a musical sound like wind chimes, and the door slowly opened.
Inside upon first sight, I saw blood red marble walls going down a long hallway that seemed to have no end on my left. Jelia led the way down this hallway, and I looked over at Yusuke and Shinji with my eyebrows raised in shock. They had similar reactions to my own. As we made our way down the hallway, people appeared out of doorways on the sides of the hall, and all began following us in a growing and monstrous number. We're now standing before a gigantic pair of double doors made of pure gold, and covered in precious gems of every kind imaginable. Two burly men stepped up and opened the doors for us. I stepped forward and was shocked again. A gigantic throne room completely made of black marble ceiling to floor and polished to perfection. A red and gold carpet led up to the most majestic of thrones. A golden throne with a blood red dragon made of red marble, and has a single sapphire for one eye and a ruby for the other. It's teeth and claws were made of the purest ivory. The throne could easily sit a man of great height. I knew this throne is for me, now let's take a seat.
After I took a seat in my throne which feels just perfect, the throne room which was about 1 mile long, by 1 mile wide filled up with hundreds of vampires. After everyone finished filing in and the doors were closed, Jelia shouted, "Everyone kneel before your true ruler, The God of Vampires Clyde!" There were very few gasps of shock. Instead with a loud boom a horde of vampires began to kneel in my presence and Jelia looked at me with tears of joy and said, "My Lord God, what is your first degree for us your servants?" Looking around at everyone carefully, and sensing no hostile intent I began to speak.
"Today marks the beginning of a legend. Today you become my family! Today you shall cast off the old worries of life, and join me as we unite the world under one banner and defeat those who would stand against us! Lift up your chins in pride, for I The God of Vampires shall rule the world!"
The morale of everyone present was sky high. Not a single person wasn't emotional, and not a single person wasn't weeping tears of joy. I noticed my brothers were kneeling before me as well. I cannot have that. "Yusuke and Shinji rise! You are Progenitors and have my blood in your veins! You and Jelia are the first Demigods of the vampire race! I so declare that the three of you are the only individuals in this world who are my equals!" At my words the three mentioned slowly made their way to my sides, and stood up straight with pride. I looked over the rest of the vampires present and spoke calmly to them. "Know this, these three shall be known as The Bloodline Court. For they are birthed from my very blood! However, you are all vampires and are my family. You all are now minor nobles of my court, and shall be called The Guardians of Nightblood. Your first mission is to locate more righteous vampires, and rescue the oppressed. Go now and perform your duties, you have my leave!" After genuflecting everyone began to leave save for Jelia, Yusuke and Shinji.
Yusuke and Shinji looked at me with eyes that said they'd die for me. Jelia looked at me with eyes of never ending worship, and quite possibly lust. Now, to decide our group's personal mission. "Yusuke, Shinji, and Jelia. The four of us must work hard in the days ahead to spread our influence and harken the day of our rule of this very world, and one day we shall even rule the heavens themselves!Between the three of you come up with a strategy and keep me updated." The three of them agreed with passion in their voices, and their eyes. Jelia then led us back out of the base, and before long we were back at the entrance. Yusuke, Shinji, and Jelia all exchanged phone numbers and then me and the guys got into the obnoxious limo. It's time to go back to the dorm.
I decided it's long overdue to check on my system. 'Hey system, did I get anything for what just happened back their?' Suddenly I heard the sound I haven't heard in a little while.

So incredible! I can look at every last member of my court and know the minute anyone begins to plot betrayal. It's moments like these that I realize just how incredibly lucky I am to have my system. I've taken it for granted lately and haven't really messed with any of the functions. I wonder what I'll unlock in the future? Only time will tell.
The three of us are back on campus and decided to go grab some grub. I got my usual breakfast combo and two energy drinks and they copied me except the energy drinks. I was surprised to learn they're from the soda faction. Oh the horror! I mean I'll drink soda when I'm low on energy drinks, but I'll never place soda above energy drinks! Such heresy! We all laughed, and enjoyed a friendly battle over energy drinks and soda. We'd come to a tie. I guess soda isn't so bad after all, and I managed to convince the two of them to try energy drinks, and they actually liked them now! Score one for energy drinks! Ha ha ha!
After our epic battle in the cafeteria, we headed back to our dorm room, and began to play the iconic apocalyptic game and destroyed the opposition no matter what side we played on. It was now dinner time and I told them to go alone, I just wanted to spend a little time alone and absorb everything that happened today. I obtained a totally badass, and legendary secret base. I have a large group of followers to do my bidding, and my brothers accepted me for who I am and are now true brothers and blood of mine for all eternity. Now, what's next I wonder?
