4 [3] This is a Badly Designed World.

I still need to figure out which part I'm in-

"Students, please come to the gym for the beginning of the school year orientation."

Yup, I'm in the beginning part of the story. Orientation... does the heroine meet anybody there?

I stood up and walked to the mirror.

Oh shit, I'm in my pjs! I ran to my wardrobe and put on the uniform. I put water on my head to downsize the frizz and brushed my hair. I looked at myself in the mirror.

"The heroine is pretty cute, I must say! Oh wait, it's me!" I exclaimed with a laugh. I spinned around, watching my skirt flow thanks to help from the mirror.

I wish we had uniforms like this back home, it would make it easier to go to school.

After checking myself out, I got my backpack and left my dorm. I ran to the gym, which was surprisingly not that full. I sat down in the middle to be ambiguous.

Now that I think about it, if this worlds money were translated into dollars, I would probably be richer then them. If not that, then by the technology my family owns we probably would be richer.

Ah, nobility and wealth are a joke at this point.

Soon enough the gym started to fill up. A old man in a suit walked onto the stage, opened a paper, and began to read.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Otome High. We are a proud school with many successful nobles graduating from us, along with the royal family sending their children here. We are also proud to offer commoners a chance to..."

He kept on speaking, but I wasn't listening. Blah blah blah, that's all it was. Kiss the schools butt as if it's a person, talk about their high expectations, simple stuff like attendance, don't do drugs, and then leave, that's what they always do.

Oh wait- Drugs don't exist here, at least not yet. I might have something to do with that. Just kidding! I'm clean in every way possible.

People were murmuring around me. Other kids were leaving, so I stood up and left as well. My plan to be a normal high school student will work out just fine!

The first three classes passed like a blur. They were mainly about their high expectations for us, no cheating, grading systems, and how to succeed.

Then came lunch. I was hungry as hell, so I got to the line as quick as I could. I made a friend in math class and she invited me to sit with her at lunch. Of course I said yes, I just need to get some food.

I picked up a tray and food was put on it. I went to the dessert section and saw a chocolate cake, but no ice cream. I took the cake, but I really wanted ice cream.

I found my math friend and sat next to her. Her friends were already there. We said our hello's and started eating.

My mouth... happy.

My heart... melting.

My stomach... crying joyful tears.

The food... perfection.

The cake... give me all of the pieces left.

My math friend's name is Clara. She's the daughter of a merchant, but was able to join the school due to her father having good business. The other girls with us were daughters of Counts and Barons.

"Do you happen to know if they serve ice cream here?" I asked, trying to use as mature words as possible.

"Yes there's ice cream, but it's once a week. You also have to pay extra. It makes sense though, it's a very hard process."

This world has intercom systems, but it's difficult to make ice cream? What a badly written world.
