Godzilla/Mothra POV

The king of monsters had been staying busy, with most titans kissing up to the ancient alpha. He needed to put those insurgents down for good. Winning only encouraged more rebels to rise. It was becoming too much for him, as he couldn't be everywhere at the same time. Then there was his offspring. It's been silent. It's far too quiet.

He was aware that those brats had fought the ancient alpha. He was well aware of their obstinacy. So why couldn't he find them!? It was as if they had vanished from reality. He'd grown accustomed to their disappearances, but they still left something behind that allowed him to track them or, at the very least, remain aware that they were in his garden. But now things were different. Another thing that bothered the king was that Battra was correct, even in his madness. The spawn had only one flaw: they grew too quickly to survive.

Can he blame them for how they treated him when he was just as defiant in his youth? He even challenged his father several times, which resulted in him being beaten to the ground. Was it any different for them?

Perhaps he had been too harsh. However, the brats were extremely dangerous. They were subconsciously using their unique biology, resulting in massive increases in power. It won't be long before their power surpasses his own.

Mothra had sensed his anguish, but she was also shaken by Gestroyah's sudden disappearance. They had taken it easy on the hatchling the first time they fought, but their second battle only demonstrated how far the hatchling had progressed. She had to use every trick she and Battra had to keep them from overwhelming her. The fact that the hatchling wasn't even attempting to kill her didn't help matters. That just rubbed salt in her wounds. She never imagined she'd need her twin's lessons, but Gestroyah was far too powerful for her to rely on her pacifist ways. Battra was the one who taught her how to use her light as a weapon.

Not even Ghidorah had pushed her that hard, and the Golden devil had slaughtered her several times. The hatchling hadn't killed her once, but their presence was so terrifying that she couldn't help but rely on Battra's teachings to keep up. Something was horrifyingly wrong with the hatchling. Everything about it was questionable and soiled.

She shivered as she remembered the deathly presence they had.

*BOOM*

The two titans came to a halt as they witnessed the water erupt. Godzilla snarled. The ancient alpha had arrived. Mothra's head felt like it was about to split open as memories from her distant past resurfaced.

JIA POV

Jia requested Kong to board a large ship as soon as it arrived so they could take him to the entrance of Hollow Earth. The titanic ape refused because he was unsure of ships and reasoned that the sea was not for him. Kong finally relented after a few moments of pleading. Kong, narrowly avoiding a fight, suspected the reason for the chains and collar.

They were now sailing in the sea. Jia quickly became bored and asked Slenra if she wanted to play, to which the T-Rex responded by grabbing a strange ball.

Jia had no idea why she was being stared at in bewilderment while playing catch with her friend Slenra. All she was doing was throwing a ball, which the T-Rex would chase after before returning the object. Slenra would occasionally bring back odd items such as a tire, a box of underwear, or, ironically, some shipmen or Spear. The man was upset because he had lost his food in the incident.

What difference does it make if she rides on her friend's back or plays catch with her? She didn't understand why they thought it was strange when they did it with their friends, unaware that her actions only fueled the notion that she possessed some sort of kaiju taming ability.

It didn't help that Slenra had subjugated more kaijus during her stay on the skull island, or that she was using her brainwashing ability to pacify some of the dangerous monsters. Giving the impression that Jia is a monster princess or something.

KING KONG POV

Gestroyah had warned him about his kin's rival, so the great ape was wary of the sea. A fellow Alpha who had been maintaining order on the surface world. Manda was scouting ahead in case the sea king showed up. Fighting at a severe disadvantage will not end well for him.

He felt at ease watching Slenra and the human girl play until his instincts told him he was in danger. Slenra had picked up on it as well, growling and motioning for Jia to return inside. Kong became aware that Manda had not yet returned.

Kong leaned to the side and roared angrily, perplexing many until a giant eel attempted to bite Kong's face. The former ruler of Skull Island dodges it and grabs the kaiju, oblivious to its electric shock. Kong growled as he absorbed the energy before snapping its neck.

When he heard Manda's roar, the ape turned around. Manda was dominating the fight between the serpent and him. Both serpents entwined as they wrestled before the other serpent made a fatal mistake, allowing Manda to bite its head off.

More kaijus appeared, sending the fleet into a frenzy. Kong and Manda were concerned because their worst nightmare had come true. Kong couldn't use his electricity carelessly because it could spread and harm Manda and the humans.

Then they sensed it... the unsettling sensation they've grown accustomed to, a sensation they are all too familiar with.

MONARCH POV

They had been watching the little girl for a while now to see how she was taming the beasts that had been multiplying, but nothing in the videos showed her using or doing anything unusual to tame them. She was training these monsters like a dog trainer. It was terrifying to see a child taming beasts with nothing more than a head pat and whatnot.

The thought of kidnapping the mute girl was becoming more appealing to them as time passed. The only problem was that if they took her, what was to stop the monsters from rampaging?

Mark and most of his team thought it was as ridiculous as the idea of Gestroyah possibly being dead. Trapped? Perhaps, but dead? That thing was as stubborn as its father, and he was beginning to believe that the chimera had been their ally the entire time. He had been talking about it with his branch. Mark gives a blink. Why does he sound so much like Serizawa? Was this the doctor's reaction when he discovered Godzilla?

He shook his head and abruptly interrupted the meeting. "You take that girl, and we all die," Mark warned. "She's possibly the only thing those things listen to, and if she goes, all hell will break loose, so unless you have something that can do the same thing, I suggest we leave her alone."

"Dr. Russell, you don't seem to see the big picture; she can tame those things without the ORCA; we need her!"

"It's you idiots who don't see the big picture!" yelled Mark. "We have a bloody monster war going on, and you're focusing on a little girl!" exclaimed the doctor. "What makes you so certain she has that ability?! Do I need to remind you that Gestroyah is still alive and the only reason we're breathing is because of her?"

"Gestroyah is dead."

"Do you think a small island is enough to put that thing down!? Let's say we take her by some miracle. What do you think happens when those monsters find out we were the reason? What's stopping Gestroyah from wiping us all out to get her back!? Wake up! This isn't our world anymore! It's theirs! We're all just living in it with them!" Mark glared at another scientist. "Don't even think about using the oxygen destroyer; we're in this mess because of your mistakes!"

"Godzilla..."

"Godzilla isn't on our side! All we have is the same roof!" Mark was losing patience. Fortunately, Rick entered the room carrying his laptop. "Mark, you're going to need to see this!" Rick exclaimed as he showed his discovery.

"That thing is back, and it brought friends!" Ilene exclaimed, her face pale. "That's not all. Gestroyah energy readings are increasing." Rick began switching channels, all of which were broadcasting the same information. Excelsus' army had arrived and begun the assault. They quickly reduced human settlements to rubble. Moving from one city to the next. Godzilla couldn't stop them all. Biollante and Battra had also joined the fray. Some still followed Godzilla and fought back, but there were so few that it was obvious to the humans. They didn't need a king or a god to survive this. They required something... worse.

They needed... a devil

[Rok Nardin & @Samuel Kim Music - THE APOCALYPSE]

The devil enters the stage as humanity loses faith in their god. The sense of dread had returned, and all life realized one thing: there was only one creature who could instill such fear in their hearts. Gestroyah. When the three-headed beast entered the fray, the world resembled the end of days once more.

"God help us..."

"I don't think he can..."

"That thing is the devil!"

It all started in South Africa, at the Cape of Good Hope, and something was making its way out from beneath it. It didn't take long for Gestroyah to reappear, roaring to the heavens and forever altering the landscape.

The three-headed chimera bathed in magma and its new appearance made it appear to be a demon or the devil himself. The large horns resembled a broken crown. Their wings resembled those of an avian and a bat, and they were filled with demonic eyes. Their roar was now indescribable, as it only added to their terror at his appearance.

Gestroyah's most recent form resembled Gore Magala, Crimson Orochi, Caligula Xeno, and Corrosive Hannibal.

It felt like hell on Earth. Volcanoes erupting at the same time, a snow blizzard in the desert, and sweltering heat in the colder regions. Thunderstorms and tornadoes have formed, as have random pillars of purple light in the sky and ocean. A red mist was slowly consuming the world through the holes where the light pierced through.

The unfortunate rogue kaijus that caught their ire were all slaughtered by their hands or turned into an eldritch beast with eyes by the red sea and mist.

Third person POV

It was complete and utter chaos. Kaijus all over the world recognized the danger the red mist or water posed and were fleeing. Only the most powerful of their kind could withstand it. Humans and animals who had inhaled the mist had also mutated, and they had overwhelmed the titans with their ferocity.

Excelsus, who had been leading the assault, was taken by surprise. This was all new to him, and it terrified him, but his pride kept him calm. He knew who was behind it, but he never imagined it could compete with his power. The mist was the issue. His army cannot fight as long as it exists.

Those brazen brats! They dare to take on their king!?

Excelsus roared and smashed his remaining claws, and the effect was immediate. The weather changed once more, returning to normal, with the mist being pushed back by the strong wind. For the time being, the red sea had stopped spreading.

MONARCH POV

"Do you still believe that thing is on our side?" Rick inquired.

"Where will it go next?" Ling Chen inquired. Ilene's twin was terrified as she and her sister realized Gestroyah had finally matured and there was no telling what it would do. Its form gave it the appearance of both a deity and a demon.

"Gestroyah is heading straight for Godzilla. Oh, my Godzilla! This thing is flying at Mach 10!" Rick exclaimed, watching Gestroyah's speed.

"Right now, I believe Godzilla has the best chance of survival in them."

GODZILLA POV

Meanwhile, Godzilla was battling hordes of Kaiju and was gradually being overrun by them. Mothra was doing everything she could to help her king, but there was only so much she could do. Before being smashed to the side by Excelsus, the king unleashed his blue flames, burning his enemies.

As Dagon's child rose in defiance and roared at him, the titanic arachnid growled. Excelsus roars back, the battle of alphas asserting dominance over the other. The two charged at each other. Godzilla narrowly escapes impalement and unleashes a weaker nuclear pulse.

Excelsus was dazed by the attack, but he refused to kneel. Godzilla quickly shattered two of his opponent's front legs before unleashing his nuclear ray. Excelsus hisses and swats Godzilla away.

The two titans exchanged glances as they prepared to clash once more. Gestroyah's breath attack blasted Excelsus after their nose detected a familiar scent. Godzilla turns and growls at his disobedient spawn, who were mocking him as they smugly hover above the skies.

"Hi dad..." Cody greeted innocently.
