14 The other princess

The door opened and when it opened, a girl who was about the same height as Lia appeared.

"Father..." The girl looked emotionless as she looked at her father, The King.

The King looked at her and sighed "Where have you been Sylvi? Didn't i tell you both that you shouldn't wander around??" The King said in a voice that seems angry and worried at the same time.

'So Sylvi is the name of Lia's sister then? or is it also just a nickname?' Ren thought to herself

The girl with blonde grey hair and red eyes similar to her father held her skirt and bow down "I'm sorry father but i wanted to look around. I hope you can forgive this daughter" She said without any emotion while she was looking down.

The King sighed and rubbed his temple with his hand then gave a smile "It's okay, Just don't do this again Sylvi and you too Lia"

Lia and Sylvi nodded and said in sync "Yes father"

The King clapped his hands "Oh right Reren, this is my second daughter and Lia's twin sister Sylvi"

Ren smiled gently and placed a hand on her chest as she bow down "Greetings to princess Sylvi, I'm Ren Lenxington and it was a pleasure to meet the princess"

Sylvi nodded and also bowed while holding her skirt and nodded "The pleasure is mine, I'm Sylvia Alarick"

'Oh...So Sylvi is her nickname then' Ren felt that it was rude for her to call the princess by her nickname so she smiled apologetically.

"Forgive me for calling you by your nickname princess Sylvia..." The King laughed amusedly while looking at them.

"What are you apologizing for Reren? Me and your father's friends, I'm your uncle right? And i'm also the one who told you that she's Sylvi so no need to feel sorry" The king kept on laughing and Sylvi looked at Ren as she nods as if agreeing with her father.

Ren just smiled lightly and nodded.

The King looked at them then think for a moment "You kids go to the other room for a moment, we adults have something to talk for a moment" The three of them nodded and went to the other room.

The room that they went to looked luxurious and beautiful, there's also a table where there are sweets and tea placed. Rem thought for a moment then pulled the chair "Please have a seat princesses" Ren said then she helped the two of them to sit down, The two also thanked her.

Ren also served as their maid or butler by serving them their tea then after that she sat down and also serves herself. Lia kept on looking at Ren and Ren noticed it so she also looks back "Yes your highness?"

Lia shook her head while smiling "Nothing, i just thought that you're good at doing this" Lia chuckled and said "And also didn't i tell you to just call me Lia?"

Ren smiled apologetically "Yeah...Sorry about that uhm Lia.." Sylvi just silently looked at the two of them while drinking her tea.

The atmosphere became silent and Ren didn't know what to say or ask but it was Lia who broke the silence "So Ren, I heard that you're training swordsmanship?"

Ren blinked twice looking at the princess and was slightly puzzled. It was the first time that they met so how come does Lia knows about her? Ren kinda felt weird but didn't show it at all and smiled.

"Yes you're right. Where did you hear it from princess?" Ren asked smiling, not showing any other emotion.

Lia widened her eyes for a moment but it was just for moment and it would be hard for others to notice if they aren't keen enough but Ren noticed it. Ren was now slightly suspicious of her but didn't show it whatsoever.

Lia was smiling and answered "W-well I don't really quite remember haha but was it from the maids in the palace or other banquet like this" Lia pretended to think but her ears were slightly pink for some reason.

Then the silent Sylvi spoke "If Ren didn't know, you're quite popular you know?" Sylvi said while looking at Ren without any emotion.

Ren blinked twice and Lia coughed twice "Yeah Sylvi's right" Ren raised her eyebrows and looked at them "Is that so?..."

'Is the previous Ren famous for her swordsmanship?...I wonder' Ren thought to herself and the way three of them continued to have a conversation.

The three of them for about an hour when Ren was called by her father to go back home.

'Time's really fast huh?...' Ren thought to herself and stood up then bow down then smiled while looking at Lia and Sylvi "I have to go now, but it was fun being with you Lia and Sylvi"

Lia nodded while smiling "It was fun talking to you also Ren" Sylvi nodded and said "I hope we can talk and have some tea again in the future" Ren nodded while smiling.

Ren left and the two princesses we're left.

When Ren was gone, Lia sighed then touched both of her cheeks "Are you okay sister?" Sylvi asked while looking at her sister whose face was red.

"I'm okay, i was just flustered and nervous i guess..." Sylvi looked at her sister and chuckled "You looked cute today sister especially when Ren's here".

"Oh really??" Lia pouted and pinched Sylvi's both of Sylvi's cheeks "Look who's talking huh? You're also nervous with Ren that you didn't even talked that much! You're kinds stiff earlier sister!"

Sylvi was kinda in pain when her sister pinched her cheeks but she blushed when she heard her sister "I couldn't help it sister! It was Ren after all..."

The two of them were embarrassed for a while then when they're already calm the two of them laughed at themselves for a moment then Lia looked at Sylvi "I'll make sure that i'll be Ren's fiance in the future!" Sylvi smirked "Don't be too sure about that sister!".

Ren who was inside the carriage suddenly sneezed. Ren's mother looked at Ren worriedly.

"Are you okay Ren? Should we call a doctor?" Ren shook her head and smiled lightly "It's okay mother It's just a simple sneeze"

Her mom couldn't help but still be worried about her daughter. Her daughter used to be sickly as a child and she still fears that someday her sickness would come back.

They arrived back safely into their estate and took a rest.

Idk if it's necessary for you to know but the reason why the prince wasn't there was because he decided to stay in the palace and also because i'm too lazy to write or add him in the story atm ;-;. Also i just decided to make Lia and Sylvi twins just now at this chapter so yeah ._.);...

I'm really sorry if it took me too long to update and if you feel like the story's kinda rushed i wanted to say sorry about that cause I'm still familiarizing with writing stories again and i hope you guys understand :').

Oh i also wanted to ask your opinion, Should i add harem tag at this moment? I dunno it feels kinds weird to me not putting a harem tag especially if she had lots of love interests T^T.

But yeah this story won't have a harem ending but it also depends ig if how the story goes.

I'm sorry again but i hope you liked this chapter :)
