1 A gods purpose.

"Why must it be so hot," Elias growed at himself as a bead of sweat stung his eye.

The heat of summer was no joke, humidity was the worst. Every step Elias took jolted his leg. He continued to mumble to himself, as he took the final lap of his routine workout.

As he trained a powerful being was watching. As Jahrico watched the youth he changed a flower into a small tree. Thinking to himself what type of world that person belonged in. The boy was a curiosity.

Elias was given to an orphanage when he was a baby. He spent 8 years there, and in truth whose were good years for him. The only problem was those were the only years he spent there. The government stopped it's patrinouge. The kids were let off on the street after he turned 9. It was a harsh reality lesson, but he did what he could, and lived on, with a little help from Jahrico.

Of course jahricio was interested in the boy because he was the only human he couldn't manipulate. Jahrico has dominion on all things. He could control weather, move mountains, manipulate minds and change fate itself. In Fact the only ones he had no dominion on were the gods. Beings that radiated greatness, like himself. He was quiet possibly the most powerful and oldest of the gods. This was the God of creation and dominion, Jahrico.

There wasn't many reasons that could make him immune to his power. One he was a demigod, but they have been hunted down since the war between the gods and demigods. Another explanation he was born a new god but that was just as unlikely as the first one. The last was the most unlikely of both, he was a reincarnation, and with it he controls the poewers,of who came before.

As he watched he wondered if he had the same powers as the others. If the other gods noticed him then he would most likely be tried as a Demi and executed by the higher authority. Jahrico kept his presence a securite, the reason for this was a favor.

A girl sudenly appered to his right. This was Layla, his spirit. She sat down next to him pondering with him. She Knew of the thing he thought as she was linked to his own soul. She understood the pain he felt as he looked at the boy.

She knew not to disturb him until he acknowledged her. He turned to her smiling under his fedora. The girl smiled back and began her report.

"Master, the southern regins have reached their climax of summer, shall we,begin the decent into this year's fall.

"... Yes begin today. Give them the first cold snap in 3 weeks."

She stood up, bowed, then prepared her transition. He held his hand up to stop her. Seeing this she took another seat. This time she sat closer and leaned her head against his shoulder.

"What do you think of him?"

The young spirit looked at the boy almost done with his lap and noticed the painfull look of the mistake of her masters. She looked back at Jahrico.

"My honest opinion, he seems like trouble Master. My eyes and soul; however, tell me another story. He is pure, but there is blackness in his heart, controlled into a small area that gains power every day. What he is, I don't know enough to tell you."

Jahrico looked back at the boy now laying down resting, he finished the lap in a timely matter, despite his handicap. Jahrico noticed his water bucket was empty. With a flick of his hand water appeared and filled the bowl.

Layla dissaperd from view, alone again he pondred. He stood up and headed to the entrance. He smiled mischiviously as he decided on what to do.

"When should be a good time to fufill my promise."
