Loud gallops of the horses were heard just below the mountain. The Eastern kingdom soldiers stood their grounds to meet the enemy's attack. They were surrounded.
"General, you should use this chance to escape"
General Zhou placed his hand on top of the soldier's shoulder and looked towards the army. Before this, they were a troop of 70,000 soldiers. They have fought the war together, wave after wave. But who would've thought that it was a trap in the end? Reinforcements didn't come. They were abandoned.
"I have weaved through different battles with you, my brothers. Although reinforcements are not coming, let us all fight this war together! There are 20,000 of us and 40,000 of them, we may lose but we shall proudly instill in our hearts! We have died for our Eastern Kingdom!! For the Kingdom!!!"

The soldiers let out the last battlecry as they met with the enemy's attacks.
General Zhou rode fast towards the enemy's general, slaughtering on the way.
"Ahahahahaha I finally meet the famous General of the East! Let I, General Fang, taste your strength, young man"

Their swords met, it was a fierce battle. Slash after slash, they managed to wound each other.
General Zhou sprung off from the horse, clothes fluttering, like a flower dancing in the fields, she fought with the last bit of strength.

Light flashed past her eyes as she mustered her final deadly attack, exceding her limits

"GENERAL FANG!!!"
His body fell, head rolling over. Their General was dead. But a sword pierced through General Zhou as well. She broke a part of it and shakily stood up.
General Zhou continued to swarm through the battle, eyes bloodshot and killing intent reeking.
"aahhh!!" enemy's perished as soon as she swiftly ran through them.
"y-YEAH!!!!!!" the Eastern Kingdom's soldiers roared
Finally, they won the battle.
"Hurry up and leave this place. No doubt they will be sending another army" the General commanded
"Genera--"
"LEAVE" General Zhou looked at the men
"We have fought a good fight, my brothers. But this is where my journey with you shall end. Now, receive this General's last command" she coughed out
"Awaiting your command,General" they stood straight up
"Don't look back..GO"
They looked at the General before them, with tears in their eyes, they saluted "Yes General"
The troops started walking back to the kingdom, not once daring to look back. General Zhou finally coughed out the blood she held in
She watched them leave with crestfallen backs. Soon, they were out of her sight and she took off the heavy armour and helmet on her head, eyes gazing towards the sunset
Father, I have done my duty...

With the last of her breath, she smiled towards the sky as her body fell limply on the rough ground.

'hmmm? light?" Zhou Min walked towards the light like she was in a never ending tunnel. Darkness shrouded her view but she persevered.
"-elp!" she heard a voice echo and wanted to call to it as well but her throat was so dry that she couldn't even muster a single sound.
"help!" the voice called again
She walked towards it and soon reached a ball of light
"Hello big sister" the light said
"big sister, I am Fei Qinwei" Zhou Min wanted to talk but couldn't
"big sister, I was sick but then I suddenly came here"
