This was the real laboratory, In this room were a lot dangerous chemicals and this room was filled with Felix's most precious inventions.

Matt had never been in this room before, he was not allowed to enter this room and one of his greatest wishes was to see the wondrous creations in that room. The metal tube was also made in this room, to think he would enter there today.

Felix took out a card from his pocket and swiped it in front of the door. Then the door opened.

"Ah!" Matt exclaimed in surprise. He had seen something like that before, it felt like magic to him.

He followed Felix into the room and admired the elegance of the laboratory. It was a large hall containing one table and three chairs. A lot of paperwork containing many formulas littered the table. Naturally, that didn't catch Matt's attention. What he paid attention to were the machines and instruments scattered around the room.

' Each of these of things will probably earn millions of dollars if sold, no wonder Felix could easily dish out five thousand dollars. Hmmm... I should increase my price to 7000 dollars ' Matt thought.

Felix looked at the expression on Matt's face and laughed, it was the expression of surprise.

"Surprised right?"

Matt snapped out of his daze and nodded his head enthusiastically "Yes, yes, yes..."

"Sign this" Felix handed a paper to him.

Matt looked at paper and said with an embarrassed face.

"I don't know how to read"

"You don't need to read, I already told you the content of the contract. Just Sign"Felix said

" What does it mean to sign?..."

'WHAT! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT SIGNING IS! ' Felix thought ' Well, that's what I need, the effect of the serum will be pronounced in him than in someone who is brilliant.'

Felix looked at him with an exasperated look and pointed to a point on the paper.

"Just write your name here."

"Okay sir" Matt said and picked up a pen to write his name.

He kept muttering and after twenty minutes of thinking, he finally wrote the last letter and wiped the sweat away from his forehead.

"Phew!" He let out a breath and returned the paper that was half filled with sweat to Felix.

Felix collected the paper and muttered under his breath "I wonder who your parents were, to give birth to such a dullard. Even four year old kids can spell their names. Little wonder you were sent out of the orphanage"

He then looked up at Matt and said " When do you want the experiment to take place and do you want to take the money now or after the experiment"

" Let us do the uh...uh..the ex stuff in fifteen days and give me 3000 now, I'll take the rest after the ex...ex..yeah!.. experiment"Matt said" And I want to apply for a fifteen day break"

" Fine, but be here in fifteen days"

" Yes sir"

" Okay, go out now"Felix waved him away.

Matt walked to the door and the door opened to let him pass. He was still amazed but he tried his best not to act amazed.

Watching Matt made Felix smile, a scientist like Felix smiled but there was something in Matt that he couldn't put his hand on that made him smile every time he looked at Matt.

"Wait!" Felix called out "Go meet Doris for your money and tell her to give you five packs of Corzen"

" Cor.....zen!Okay sir!"Matt said and walked out briskly.

Doris was the co-owner of the laboratory, she was laboratory technician and computer genius. She often sat in the reception of the laboratory. Not that the lab had any customers apart from the occasional government official showing up.

Matt walked to the reception with his hands in his pockets and a satisfied look in his face. He saw Doris sitting behind the reception desk. Doris was a tall and fair young lady with a pair of glasses that gave off a feeling of coldness that it was surprised that she was allowed to act as a receptionist. She sat with her eyes glued on her laptop and her fingers dancing round the keyboard.

" Hey, Doris" Matt greeted with a smile

She looked up at him with a cold and piercing gaze.

"What do you want?"

"Felix told me to collect some money and five packs of Cor..... zen"Matt said with the same innocent smile.

" Don't tell me you volunteered for an experiment" Doris said

"Yes, I did"

Doris then smiled at him but there seemed to be something else behind her smile. Matt's heart skipped a beat...
